So far, this school has been so so. The facilities are lovely, except for the cleanliness - more about that later. The instructors are generally nice except that the student to teacher ratio varies, where at times another instructor should be there, but is not. And on a per class basis, the cost seems a bit high(again, mostly due to the ratio). The real problem here is that the place is dirty. The showers are dirty. The lockers are dirty. It's been almost 2 years since our daughter tried a class here. My husband and I wanted to sign her up, but were told there was a $50 fee to switch class times if we needed to for the summer. When we decided on another school, I attempted to unsubscribe from their mailing list. I continue to do this still. Two weeks ago, I emailed them directly and asked them to remove me (why I didn't think to do this sooner, I don't know, but I didn't). They told me they would, yet I still receive their emails. It might just be me, but I don't think that shows any consideration for others nor good etiquette. Hence my review. read more

I don't love it. It was really hard to sign up, get someone to respond to an email. The pool is nice and there were many lesson options, but it is like a factory. They do the same routine each time with no excitement or variety, just going through the motions. But what really bothered me, I have a fearful child who cannot swim (pandemic) and they pushed him to where he seemed to panic today and then told him he MUST do the skill next week. He left the lesson tearful and more afraid than he was when we went in. I am very concerned about continuing. Worst experience with the front desk. They kept my deposit promising they will apply when I return. When I returned after pandemic- they are telling me due to policy changes they cannot refund my money. It was so unprofessional behavior from their manager Monica and her assistant. They lost a long term customer. Customers please be beware when they take your deposit during 1st month enrollment. Make sure to take it back when you decide to stop. Don't go with their promise of they applying when you comeback.. that will never happen. read more

Please stay away from this place. They canceled with less than two hours notice via email. Not even a curtesy call. Two hours before we are getting the children ready and didn't see the email. They had no instructors once we got there. Their class is filled even though we had confirmation and called that it was still on. Poor organization. Poor communication. My children missed going on a carnival to attend their first swimming class since we received confirmation and they were very upset. Horrible Swimming school. Look some place else. They didn't even have a manager in there to discuss just two young "assistant managers" that couldn't do anything because their schedules got messed up. My daughter has been swimming at this location since they reopened after their covid closure. She swims twice a week plus would want to attend their open swim on her days off from school. She loves to swim and enjoyed her instructor. Last Friday, we were there for class and another instructor was going to be her teacher. She was rude, didn't introduce herself, gave my 10 year old daughter no direction, except to continue to tell us over and over again that she already called my daughters name. The lanes were full, she didn't know where to go and was not told where to go. The instructor continued to tell her very rudely that she had already called her name, all the kids getting into the pool and parents turned to look. She asked me what the problem was, so I said we were going to the waiting room. With our backs turned, she continued to repeat to the male instructor that she had already called my daughters name and that it was our problem. My daughter told the manager in the waiting room that the girl was rude and embarrassed her and she didn't want to go back in there. Big step for a 10 year old! I have asked for my money back since at first the school inititally offered no apology and no explanation of a solution to train their employees better. They defended her and said the girl meant to jump in. Jump in where, I am not sure. My daughter expressed her desire not to return to their own manager that was on duty after being treated poorly, but the school will not refund my money. They wanted me to return for lessons, basically signaling to my daughter that the feelings that she voiced to them do not matter. They are suppose to offer kids a safe environment to learn to swim, not one which has a negative effect on their mental health. They offered me to drive to a further location for lessons which is a punishment for me, because of course I signed up for the school that is close to me but they want me to drive farther and find a new day, since the Edison location is closed on Fridays, which is our usually one of our lesson days, the amount in a gift card to be used for a party or merchandise or to hold the credit for a later time when my daughter wishes to return. The refund would be $440. I've asked that they review their refund policy since they have no procedure in place for what to do when you are unhappy with the service or treatment that you receive by their employees. I have asked for a refund so we can just move on and for preservation of my daughters mental health to be able to swim at a place that is supportive of her. And in the end, so what if their employee called my daughters name a couple of times? We were getting our temperature taken and were not in the room. Even so, when working with kids, sometimes you have to repeat their names a couple of times, or repeat directions. My daughter enjoyed working with her instructor during her lessons. I think its a shame that we have been there supporting them since they reopened after the temporary covid closing by paying for lessons twice a week and attending open swim, yet they want to punish me for their employees behavior. At some point, businesses may have to understand that they need to take responsibility for their employees behavior. read more

Love taking my grand kids here, the staff are friendly and teaching them well to be safe in the water. I have a pool and don't want any accidents. So many small children die this way and it's preventable. read more

Extremely professional. Both my kids learn swimming here. They've progressed miles in just 6 sessions. Coaches and other staff are amazing. Hygiene standards and general facilities are top class. Water temperature and chemical levels seem just right. This is so much better than any comparable facility or health club acquatics program. Love the fact that it's open round the year. read more
