Carson's crew came by to give me an estimate. It was reasonable so next was getting into the schedule. They came and trimmed my super tall palm tree that was in serious need of trimming. That tree is 30 feet tall, I'm sure, and there were dead palm fronds hanging down from the tree and pushing into the building.! I also needed a smaller palm tree removed. That tree was headed for an overhang of the building. The edge of my patio, where that tree was, looks as if there was never a tree there at all! They did the work while I was away from home. I have used 5 Star Tree service twice now. I thought I had reviewed them after the first time, but I guess I just recommended them on Nextdoor. After an extensive estimate process with several companies in Oct 2019, I chose 5 Star. They didn't disappoint! They removed 2 trees that were shadowing our solar, ground down the stumps, and trimmed 11 other trees. The crew paid attention to detail along the entire process. Fast forward 20 months to June 2021. We wanted to remove 3 more trees and trim the rest. Based on the proximity to a masonry wall and our mow curb, we chose just to go to low stumps. Again, they did a great job. I even received a great idea to chisel out the stumps to create succulent gardens. The guy got a little aggressive with the blower, and I had to rake the mulch back into place. And a little Society Garlic got stepped on, but has since recovered.
