Well worth the drive. The guy at the yard where I picked them up went over the whole trailer. I like the crank set back so it won't hit my tail gate. My son is a union iron worker and a welder. He was impressed with all the welds. Really like the back heavyweight ramp with 2 assistances springs to help me lift the tail gate. I'm 71 and my last trailer did not have that. I am…read moreall the way from MIchigan, as Sikeston MO is where my grandfather is buried and other family live that is why I picked this place as I was coming to visit. I get to the place I check out the trailer and it is put together and so far no issues but then the craftsmanship was awful and missing rivets out of the diamond plates on the front of the trailer and they were slanted and uneven and put on half-ass. Then the diamond plate fenders aren't even put on correctly. Next the owner of the place wants to make a comment that made NO LOGICAL sense saying " we don't pay attention to the cosmetics" and that "these trailer are built by human beings". He proceeded to have an attitude and no professionalism. Well sir this trailer is being paid by human beings and the plates and cosmetics are usually the easiest parts to get correct. He offered a discount, and at first we were happy with that and then he tried to not follow through with it. So when we went to check out we had his wife call him cause he tried to see if we would push for it and instead gave us four accessories to the trailer for free that were worth under $100 in total. This did not satisfy us and we took the trailer and left. And we still had to go home and fix the issues ourselves. My father in law was going to order one from here but not anymore after this. And this all happened after he had awful communication throughout the whole process when I tried contacting the place multiple times in the beginning. Honestly we should have just left and not purchased at all but as we are on a time line to have a trailer for what we need we finished purchasing it. Unbelievable service, Simply The BEST!!…read more Last Saturday while driving from Ohio to Arkansas for a week long vacation/family reunion our car broke down about 25 miles from Dexter Missouri, two separate people stopped and offered to help and lend assistance, one even drove to a store 20+ miles away and returned with a wrench and water for my wife and grandson. The problem with the car was electronic components that were only repairable from a good mechanic. The other gentleman left and came back about 30 minutes later and told us he was able to reach the owner of Bud Shell Ford in Dexter and that a tow truck was on it's way. He also offered to take my wife and grandson to the dealership while I waited for the tow truck. A few moments later, Jason Caldwell (Service Manager at the dealership) showed up, loaded up my car and drove us to Bud Shell Ford. Jason also made several calls to local car rental companies that were all closed for the day, he then called one of the owners, then informed me that we could rent me one of their cars so we could continue on to Arkansas for our family reunion. WOW, how many companies would do that. I told everybody in church this morning that of the whole week in Arkansas my favorite memory of our trip was the friends we met along our journey, people going out of their way to help complete strangers in our time of need. And to Bud Shell Ford and Jason for making it possible to not only get us to our destination but keeping us informed on the progress of repairs to our car. WOW, WOW & WOW!!
