I'm sorry to say the neither of my cases was dismissed. They were relatively simple tickets, one in Ventura county and the court claimed that I pled guilty, which I didn't. Nobody even as much as tried to investigate when I was presumably at the court house to do so and were there any record of me being there. It was a simple case of driving on the canyon after the rain and swerving over the yellow lane. The other in BH, being forced to run the red light bc a large suv was barreling I ti me and not stopping and then pulling back into my lane, which of course all of this was recorded on the camera. Jason was excellent. Like others, I received a Failure to Appear (FTA) notice and a subsequent notice from the DMV saying that my license would be suspended. I think the County was asking for over $1,500 for the original ticket, the FTA and a fine for reinstating my driver's license. Feeling overwhelmed, I found fix-a-ticket on yelp and paid for $400 for their assistance. Jason appeared on my behalf and I never had to go to court. Though they were unsuccessful in getting the original ticket dismissed, my total fine ended up being $192. Not perfect but still better than the total fine and saved me a lot of headache trying to figure out how to get to court or (gasp!) the DMV. What a relief! Update...both 1 Star I was promised remedy and instead of paying $493 for a red light camera ticket I was denied and paid close to $800 (including fees for traffic school). All that this office did for me was extend my court date. I know I could've fought this myself and at least got the fine reduced...not increased!! Plus traffic school?? I was quoted a low one-time rate and was told that it would not fluctuate throughout the case.
