He did a complete walk through of the interior of my house to assess for any roof leakage and then went right to work on the exterior roof structure. He took several pictures and explained to me that my roof was leaking in several places. He asked if I wanted it repaired right then and there to prevent further damage until I could secure a roof replacement. I agreed and he immediately went back up and repaired any areas that needed it. He explained everything he was going to do and also took pictures of the work finished. He was also very reasonably priced. I had spoken to other companies who provided appraisal services and they were expensive and none of them offered any type of temporary repairs to prevent further damage. I am very happy with the service I received and would recommend this company for this service to anyone who needs it in the future.

Day one, was pretty good, two guys started the job, but were not able to complete in one day. One of the "day one guys" informed me that he doesn't normally work my area, and would not be returning to complete the job. Because it was obvious that he was the most knowledgeable regarding cabinet installation, i callec NIHS to inform them that I was willing to wait until he was available, unless they had someone as knowledgeable. I was informed that they would send someone with matched skills. When they day arrived to complete the job, they sent one of the original guys, who had already admitted that he wasn't very experienced in cabinet installs, and more or less, followed the lead of the experienced guy. The second guy looked like a high school student, so I thought, ok, you cant judge a book by it's cover. However, when the first challenge arose, he had no clue as how to deal with it. He literally just stood there and scratched his head. He really didn't have a clue!! Well the inexperienced cabinet guy had to take charge, and I will let the pictures speak for the work.

There were several projects around the house that needed to be taken care of, but we did not have…read moretime to get ahold of a mechanic for some electrical work or a carpenter for some wood. It was very convenient to have everything done around the house! Our garage door switch within the house was broken and he was able to easily rewire everything to make within a few minutes. Then we had a job for in the backyard where our patio shade was dilapidated and molded after being exposed to rain/sun damage for the past 25+ years. We did not plan on fixing it that same day, but since it was such an eye soar and the garage door fix was so fast we were intrigued. Danny said he could get it done within a couple hours after getting the proper material and for not much more -- we thought MIGHT AS WELL! Like he said Danny said he got out patio shade fixed within a couple hours. He sanded down the frame to level it out, went to the hardware store, got everything cut within our backyard, & cleaned up everything within a couple hours. Overall, Danny was very efficient, reasonable in price, and fast. We were very happy with his work and we'll definitely hire him again for more work around our old house.

But the fact is he walked off the job before it was done, and this was after he blew up at us about a flooring question we had. Not only was this disappointing, but very unprofessional. This put us in a very tight spot to find people to complete the job before our tenants moved in 2 days later. The work was okay up until the very end when you need a seasoned professional to complete the job (install baseboard trim, caulk bathroom sinks, install lighting fixtures, see the attached photos for reference). It seemed to us that Danny took on a lot more than he was prepared for and when we were in the home stretch, he just quit. Danny might be a good handyman for small, short-term household fixes. But if you're looking to do anything larger than that, you'll want to find a true professional who stands by their work and is committed to the very end of the project.

I can do a lot of work construction myself - so when it comes times to hire somebody I'm basically impossible to please because I always feel like I'm paying someone else too much to do a worse job than I could do if only I had the tools and time. Moreover, normally with the trades people it is really difficult to communicate, get a clear picture of the work, understand what sort of materials they will use and at what price point, and what the breakdown of their labor will be. Not so, with Alpha Electrical services. Konstantinos was wonderfully communicative, and friendly to boot. This guy even called me back while he was on vacation halfway around the world to make sure we had our work scheduled at the right time and day. On top of that, he sent me links to the materials he was going to install (several outdoor GFI outlets - some attached to my house, and some out in my yard and on my patio). He explained all of the electrical code protocols, exactly how he would run the lines, where he would put the boxes, and offered friendly advice about the best equipment and installation procedures. When the day came to do the work, Konstantinos arrived on time and although he worked solo - he installed two yard outlets, three outdoor gfi boxes, and had to run new lines from a new breaker that had to punch out of my concrete basement walls. Amazingly, he hid the wires wonderfully behind my sheetrock basement ceiling with almost no perceptible cut and the punches to the outside were clean, minimal, and sealed up beautifully. This guy communicated wonderfully, worked efficiently, treated my property as if it were his own, and did a job better than I was expecting while all along the way suggesting little tweaks and improvements without being a pushy salesperson. (He also treated my little dog who is very fearful with a lot of respect so naturally that earned him mega bonus points). In short, I basically never pay contractors to do a job and feel good about it at the end but this guy really delivered with a price that beat the competition! BTW Whoever this Dan R. guy is clearly is out out of his mind - my experience working with Alpha Electrical couldn't have been more stress free, seamless, professional, and beyond satisfactory both in regards to price point and end-product. I just wish I could find other contractors this reliable.

Dan came by, and quoted me to add a hose to the front yard, add a washer/dryer water hookup, and to add a gas water heater for our 2 unit house. We also got one other quote, and Dan's prices were very fair. We were able to schedule within the week for him to come by. He was able to do the hose and washer dryer within just a few hours - he was very efficient. He came by the following week to do the gas water heater install. We were really happy with this work, efficiency, and fair pricing. Everything he did is working well and I don't doubt he'll be there to help if anything were to go wrong.
