In response to Yelp's removal of my earlier review, see below, and the many one star reviews left by others, I elaborate with the following. On Monday, July 19 at 2:00pm I attended Fixxed's location, 1085 Taylor Pl, Fallon, NV 89406, to arrange to have one or more struts replaced on my 1997 Toyota Avalon. One strut is broken and the others are worn. I spoke with the office clerk, Shelbe, who advised that the mechanic, Troy, would be arriving shortly. When Troy did arrive he advised that he was very busy but that he could replace at least one strut on the following Friday morning. I then observed Troy sit down on the office couch with his schedule and made an appointment for Friday, July 23 at 7:00am On Friday, July 23 at 7:00am I returned to Fixxed. While it appeared at first to be closed, soon Troy appeared. He seemed puzzled to see me. I told him that I had an appointment for 7:00am to have at least one strut replaced. He hemmed and hawed for a bit and then advised that he had other things to do at that time. He claimed that he was busy and that I had no idea about his schedule. I repeated that I had, in fact, seen his schedule and had seen him make the 7:00am appointment in his schedule the previous Monday. He seemed agitated by this and continued to mumble about his busy schedule. After some further delay, I told him to "take a hike" and got back into my car intending to leave. Thus enraged Troy quickly advanced to my car and opened the passenger side door. He began to shout at me in an aggressive manner. I am 69 years of age, Troy is many years my junior and more physically able than I. I told him that I would call the Sheriff if he did not close my car door. He belligerently argued in a loud voice, "Oh yeah, what are you going to tell the Sheriff?" He then seemed to become somewhat more self-aware and closed the car door. To preserve my safety, I immediately left the premises. In the State of Nevada NRS 200.471 defines assault as deliberately attempting to use force against a person, or placing the person in reasonable fear of imminent bodily harm. Simple assault is generally a misdemeanor that carries a penalty of up to 6 months in jail and a fine of up to $1000.00. Being younger than I, more able than I, and having acted in the aggressive manner outlined above, Troy had committed assault, perhaps both criminal and civil. In the State of Nevada NRS 200.481 defines battery as deliberately touching another person in an unlawful way. In short, assault turns into battery when physical contact is made. Nevada case law supports that Troy's making physical contact with the vehicle in which I was sitting constitutes the unlawful physical contact outlined above. Troy had committed both assault and battery, again perhaps both criminal and civil. As a result it does appear that Troy's aggression toward customers is a sign of his ignorance with respect to running a business, he does seem to be in need of anger management counselling, and it does seem prudent to be prepared to call the Sheriff in response to the risk of assault and battery while attending Fixxed. After "repairs" had to find a reliable automotive shop to actually fix my vehicle. So be prepared to pay someone else to actually FIX your car. Also be aware that their "Guarantee" means that they have to fix, the fix if it doesn't work. After trying multiple times and additional cost each time you really might not trust them to do that. The 2nd shop diagnostic showed the original issue and they actually fixed it. Brought to "Fixxed" attention and no cooperation other than bring it back to them for oil change or labor credit for future work. Not an option, wouldn't trust them near my vehicles. They also worked on one of my other cars during the same time period and those repairs failed within 10 days. Simple repair of bulbs and socket. So overall spent near $900 and received 2 oil changes. Looked like they didn't use a funnel when pouring the oil on the one vehicle. read more

Had just my oil changed - he put in filter that had no seal. Leaked oil all over my garage floor and driveway. When I called him on it he just said "was it on the right side?" and nothing more. He was out of town when I called but he offered nothing for a remedy!!!!! A PROFESSIONAL always checks the make sure filters have a seal. (In fact when I used to do my own I always put some oil on the seal) This guy is NOT a professional! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH. read more

Would like to thank Troy for taking the time to diagnose our F350. Our clutch fan wouldn't stop making horrendous noise. After taking our truck to another shop only to be told that the noise was normal for a 6.4 diesel, we knew better. Troy said we had a clog in the radiator preventing airflow and that it's an easy fix and that we could do it ourselves. Hubby brought it home and blew it out and we found all kinds of debris clogged in there. Thank you Troy!!! read more

My fiancé took my truck here in order to get the oil pan fixed. He made an appointment for Wednesday and was told that it would be done by end of day, he arrived at the end of the day to the vehicle not done but taken apart enough that he was unable to bring it home. He was told another vehicle came in that was an emergency job, which was understandable if slightly inconveniencing, but that his truck would be done first thing in the morning. When he arrived at lunch (around noon) his vehicle was still not completed and he was told to pick it up at the end of day, it would be finished. When he arrived at the end of the day the business was completely locked to include a chain on the fence. My fiancé called and demanded his vehicle be returned (I won't lie he was angry so the message sounded a bit hostile), he was informed that he would need to get a tow truck in order to get the vehicle back. At this point I drove down to the shop to try to obtain my truck, when I arrived I also was met with a locked gate, after calling the number listed on the outside of the building three times they finally picked up. I tried to be reasonable with him at first and explain that it was imperative that we have the vehicle back because of work and school for our children and the owner became extremely rude and aggressive with me. It wasn't until I told him that I would call the sheriff and have them and him meet me and make sure the vehicle was returned in at least the condition that it was dropped off that he agreed to have it done the next day. And to top off this whole bad experience when looking over the bill that my fiancé signed they have a statement that says you are not allowed to leave a negative review or they will pursue legal action! Thankfully I never signed this agreement, but I'm sure many have in order to get their vehicles home. All of this could have really been remedied with better communication as to why the vehicle was taking a little longer rather than having us show up to pickup at an empty location. The owner could do with some better customer service skills and perhaps a couple anger management courses as it is bad business practice to yell over the top of your customers when they are just trying to get clarification on their property. read more

This guy is in it for the money. What a snake. He will take your car apart and then tell you that he has to charge you for taking your car apart. He took me to the cleaners. All I needed was new spark plug wires and he took apart my distributor and put a little oil on it and said that was my problem and charged me over 400.00 to fix the distributor, and it wasn't the problem. My car still wouldn't start and he said I needed a new engine, or way over 1000 dollars worth of work on a car that wasn't worth even 600.00. Don't go to them, you will be screwed over like I was.
