I paid a visit to Justyn's shop and I explained to him that I had a Check Engine light on my Outback. He told me to bring the car in and he found a loose spark plug wire. This was corrected and he tightened a few loose bolts. I was pleased with getting my Outback up and running without making a trip to the dealership. A few months ago, I brought the Outback to Justyn to repair an oil leak. He made the repair and the rear struts were replaced once the parts arrived. The car ran great after the repairs were made. I found another new leak. Justyn made the repair and he sent me pictures of the trouble areas before making the repairs. I love the quality of the work that Justyn has done for my Outback. The price of the service has been reasonable. It is considerably less expensive than the dealership. I also the fact that Boxer Worx is my home town of Fernley. Thanks Justyn! I asked ken for help diagnosing the problem and getting parts, ken knew right away that my water pump was toast. He let me pull my truck into their lot and start tearing apart the motor, lending me tools and answering any question I had on how to replace the parts. Justyn spent most of his day giving me tips and even driving me to oreillys to pick up parts. I was able to get the new water pump installed and get back on the road before sundown. It was an absolute blessing to have broken down in front of MKS diesel. Justyn and Ken saved the day and helped me when I had no money or anything to offer them. I'm forever grateful for them and their generosity sharing their knowledge. A catastrophic break down turned into one of my best memories on the road. This is by far the worst shop I've ever gone to. My truck broke down and I got it towed to them the…read morenext day in march after speaking to James and him telling me he is very well versed in my specific motor. He "diagnosed" the issue and threw in the parts to "fix it" which didn't actually fix it. Then they burnt up a brand new starter that I had put in previous to going to High desert and charged me for a new one. I was getting updates weekly on what the next move would be until I didn't.... James eventually stopped updating and ultimately stopped working on my truck because he couldn't figure out the issue. I ended up having to call weekly and get beat around the bush answers. The last update I got was in may and that's probably the last time he worked on my truck. I finally had enough and went to pick up my truck and get it out of this POS shop because as of today it was in there for almost 6 months and hasn't been fixed and I was forced to pay $3075 for a still broken truck because James couldn't man up and just tell me he couldn't fix it but instead just kept throwing parts at it hoping for it to work. I would never recommend this shop to anyone they were the biggest waste of time and money.
