The staff are very knowledgeable, so let them know your concerns (plantar fasciitis? More/less cushion? Over-pronated/supinated?) When it comes to the value, you get what you pay for. They're able to charge under market value, but they can still be expensive. With this in mind, they do have a generous sales room where shoes can be ~$20-40 off (I haven't been there often enough to know how the sales change, so I might be off). All in all, I highly recommend this place for your next sneaker purchase, athlete or not.

The puffy jacket somehow holds up to my son tearing up playgrounds, climbing all over stuff, rolling around, and generally beating up the coat - and it keeps on going, looks as good as new. So, I am ok with getting another when he outgrew the last one - which is still in great shape and we can re-use for his little sister. From the first person in customer service, the wonderful manager, other customer service personnel to Jacob and Sean that came down from your fishing department. I mean the name itself doesn't line up with product inside. lol Asians run this place and that is amazing! It is very organized inside. I had called ahead to see if that had something similarities what I was looking for. When I arrived I mentioned to the man in charge I had just called and without asking for details he said "follow me". If you don't know what you're looking for and in a time crunch, call ahead or ask for help. BUT if you aren't in a hurry, just look around. There is sumo much to see. I did read one of the previous reviews and they talked about the how they felt discriminated against and I can say everyone has their own experience. I can say when I returned a couple packages of hair(I had over bought in case I needed them). I was asked more then a few questions about why I was returning them. (They also don't do returns per say, it's either exchange or store credit). When I brought my stuff up to the check out to exchange, the lady who I had just worked with forgot and tried to ring it up as a new transaction I did have to remind her, and point to my previous bought items. She seemed shocked but move on and completed the exchange. All on all it was a fine experience. I'd come here again if I ha for but more hair, they also have an assortment of make up, hair products, hair accessories, clothing items, jewelry, and many other items. I know I'd go back just to look around. I'd also recommend if you do exchange to go soon after you purchased something to maybe eliminate the risk of them not taking the product back. Only because for me two days after felt like too long in their minds.

One thing I really appreciate is the sales and service people don't talk down to women bikers, which can be a problem at some stores. Not an issue at Freewheel. I like this store.
