Not only did they test my weak car battery for no charge, they swapped it out for a loaner battery at no charge, and then charged the battery for no charge! That's three opportunities to charge me for something all provided as customer service. And on a battery that wasn't even purchased from them. In addition to that they also carry an unusual battery that I have been looking for, and is apparently hard to find. So top marks for inventory, and top marks for service.

Does this look like they undercoated it to the reasonable person? Or anyone?!?! What a joke. I was definitely scammed. They take a spray can and spray 3 strips of 2 ft long areas under the cab. Please be advised if you have ever gotten undercoating from them, you likely don't have any coating to protect your vehicle. Extremely upset and disappointed. He said their "top" tech was going to put the analyzer on it. They said it needed a new rack that was going to cost $4,400.00 He couldn't tell me what the labor was going to cost. While I was stuck there, I looked online and the most common cause for this problem was a blown fuse. I went to ask if they had checked the fuse. He said they did and that was the problem. Great. What could a 10amp fuse cost? Well, they charged $48 for a $1.50 fuse and then added another $360 for labor to find out what they screwed up and to install the fuse. I went in expecting to pay $200 for an oil change. (They charged $295 for an oil change) and added over $400.00 for the fuse fiasco so I had to pay $700.00 to get out of there. I felt like the victim of a robbery when I left. I would never consider doing business (getting robbed) by them again and I recommend you avoid this place at all costs.

Our vehicle was in excellent condition, save for a bent rear axel due to a recent rear end collision. Not once during the two phone calls did the employee at CK's Auto attempt to give us an estimated price. When we arrived, after gingerly driving the vehicle thru town, he walked outside and gave an insultingly lowball number. He failed to acknowledge several parts that would be worth more on there own than the offered price, and when I brought those up he shrugged them off. We ended up leaving and getting almost 6x as much as his offer at a different location. I would not reccomend coming here unless you enjoy getting ripped off.

In the initial planning stages, I knew based on the mileage on my 2022 Subaru that I'd need an oil change somewhere around North Dakota or Montana. I looked up Subaru dealerships along Interstate-90 in those states. I decided on Kramer Subaru based on nothing but the mileage on my odometer and the distance I calculated traveled during my road trip. While spending the night in a motel in Fargo, ND, I called Kramer Subaru and verified that I could pop in for an oil change the next day. The person who answered said it would be best to make an appointment, but I told them I couldn't because I didn't know what time I'd be arriving. The next morning I drove through freezing rain on the interstate for hours, a few times having to slow down to 35 mpg just to keep from spinning out on the ice on the road. When I arrived at Kramer Subaru my car was covered in ice. I told them a bit of my story. Road trip to Seattle (to start with) and that I'd just driven in from Fargo. They seemed a bit perplexed, and the service employee who helped me (Michael) said they were supposed to have an insurance specialist drive in from Fargo that morning, but he called and said he couldn't make it because the roads were too icy. I wanted to ask if he was not driving a Subaru, but I refrained. Kramer Subaru was amazing. Their service was super-quick for a pop in, and they were exceptionally helpful, even looking up the weather westward for me and giving me tips for driving into Montana. The price for the oil change was less than what I used to pay for oil changes on my old VW Passat 4-Motion. If I'm ever in Mandan, ND again, I'd go back to Kramer Subaru for sure...but since I never will be, I can at least leave this review in gratitude for a great experience.

My daughter was traveling across the country when her car broke down in the Dakotas. It was a mess. The head gasket went, and the engine was damaged. Due to the warranty my daughter went ahead with the repairs, but it was a waiting game because of the extent, and my daughter had to be at a job in Wyoming. The manager Brad Williams, and his crew helped my daughter, and me every step of the way. Calls were returned promptly. Clear communication was given. I just can't thank Brad, and his staff enough for helping my daughter out of a very tough jam that could have been made worse, but instead went as smoothly as possible thanks to this exceptional staff.

Doug went above and beyond in rearranging his schedule to make this happen, and was always a gentleman and a pleasure to do business with. The price quoted was absolutely fair for the amount of labour that was involved in performing a full evaluation of the Jeep. Fortunately there were no serious red flags with the vehicle, which allowed the sale to proceed but he did find a few issues that the dealer will address before I pick it up. A big thanks to Doug and his wife. When I pick the Jeep up I will stop down to personally thank him and shake his hand for going out of his way. While there are many honest and skilled mechanics out there, one that offers excellent customer service and goes above and beyond in a pinch is a gem to find, and Northland Performance is definitely a gem.

Clowns. 6 months and 4500 miles later I take my truck in to find out my NEW rack and pinion is shot. Likely due to negligence at the time of installation. Called good ol Northland and Derek said he would warranty the part but not the labor. Asked why not and was told he wouldn't honor the labor cause I gave him a bad review 6 months earlier. I was told the transmission needed rebuilding, the front hub needs repairing and the radiator need replacing also, I agreed for them to do the repairs. They repaired the items they discussed with me quickly, I have no problems with that. What really got me is when the owner's daughter ( the receptionist) called and told me to get my truck off their lot today. I went in paid the remaining balance only to find out it was an incomplete repair. The technician that worked on my truck was no longer worked there and the owner stated that it was in great working condition. After inspecting my truck I was not able to get it into 4 wheel drive, the gear selector was not working and antifreeze was all over the radiator not sure it was leaking or sloppy work. I will update according to what was done about this incident.

Over the next several hours, Travis found the leak and repaired a gasket which was not seated properly. He then reinstalled the plastic fairing and other body pieces. That was no easy task. He test drove it and called me the following day to tell me it was ready. He then picked me up at the motel and drove me to the shop. The Honda motorcycle dealer said it would be a week before they could even look at the machine. I am on a long motorcycle trip and didn't want to wait that long. I never expected that Travis could fix it overnight. Travis has many talents. He started welding at age five with his dad. He loves cars, trucks, and motorcycles. His talent, professionalism, and kindness would be hard to match. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
