A surprisingly pleasant find! After eating lunch at Salt Shack, I was chilly and wanted a coffee. I turned the corner and saw this little coffee shop. It didn't look like much, but it was the perfect place! The inside is much bigger than I thought it would be. There are cute murals everywhere. It was very clean. My sugar free vanilla latte was delicious! The staff were nice. A great stop!

I had them in my list to try and since I was in the area I stopped by. They were busy with a rush of cyclists, but it didn't take long to make my order. I got an oatmilk latte and a spinach empanada. Their empanadas are shaped in a circle and with flaky dough, so that was different from another place that I tried before. It was good but it need a bit more spinach flavor. It seems to be popular with the locals and a good spot to stop by.

Empanadas are delicious and baked instead of fried. The coffee is amazing. Owners are very friendly. Great place to relax.

This coffee shop is quaint but stylish. The ambiance is cozy with murals on the walls and couches and chairs for people to hang out. There's also an outside seating area! I ordered an Americano as I just like plain coffee. I was surprised at how delicious it was and packed with flavor. The owner/employee was helpful and kind. What a fabulous addition to our downtown scene! Also, the location is fabulous! Right on downtown strip - so get your coffee and take a walk!

Stopped here for a much needed snack and energy boost on our drive to SFL and we fell in love with this coffee shop. Do yourself a big favor and forget the other coffee shops nearby and come to this small family ran operation. The people were very pleasant and helpful and everything was very clean with comfy seating to lounge for a bit. Wish we lived in the Clermont area to be regulars at this spot.

Hidden gem. We were passing through and wanted a quick place to grab coffee and a snack and decided to stop by Flag Coffee Corner, immediately felt welcomed by the attentive family running this business. We ordered our coffees and got a variety of empanadas to go which were all delicious. Our cashier asked if I wanted cinnamon sprinkled over my hot cappuccino and it was such a nice touch. They also warmed up our empanadas so we could eat in the road! I would definitely come back when I'm in this area.

    The decor!

I love this little coffee shop. I have tried the coffee all around the area -- and this by far is the best tasting. Also, the ambience here is really nice. The empanadas are delicious. Not something you often see in a coffee shop, but they are homemade and amazing. Pro tip - get the chicken empanadas! The service is great. It's locally owned by a family, and they are so warm and welcoming. It's the perfect place to work, spend time with a friend or grab a quick coffee. Again, it's some of the best coffee in Clermont, seriously. Grab a coffee and take a stroll along the waterfront. You won't regret it. Note: they've moved locations a few times, and the original photos I posted are of their old location. Their new spot (across from the Post Office) is super convenient to get to if you're in downtown Clermont.

Cute little place in the heart of clermont, the servers at the front desk were very attentive and charismatic, the coffee was extremely good and everything was neat clean including their bathroom. They also offer pastries, sodas and juices. Highly recommend!

A little converted home to coffee shop whose looks deceive. It may seem like just another coffee shop, but let me assure you, it's far from that. It's family owned and operated and the menu is full of every favorite coffee type and brewed to strong perfection. But even more, when I was told they house made the pumpkin chocolate bread (which OMG was so delicious!) and many of the baked goods?? Above and beyond what we get at a lot of standard chains and coffee houses. The friendly welcome of the staff and modern decor both inside and outside still felt cozy and inviting. My husband raved about their Housemade empanadas - beef, chicken, cheese...so much so he didn't save me a bite of the half dozen he brought home too! Guess I'll have to go back. Twist my espresso loving arm.

This is such a cute find. The service was great and they brewed the coffee to order so it was as fresh as can be. The prices weren't bad. I love the attention to detail on all the decor. You definitely know you're in Clermont when you're inside!

This is a cute coffee spot. The ambiance is beautiful and relaxing. The music was just right. I have been here twice now. The first time I stopped in to get two delicious items. Caramel macchiato and a recommendation of a flag coffee item. Which both were great. The second time I took my 6 year old. He had a small coffee with milk and vanilla flavoring. The owner was a gentleman when he brought our coffees out. Super friendly place and atmosphere. Dog friendly as well. The other patrons have also been friendly.

We stopped at this location in downtown Clermont to get out of the rain. Very cute, nice coffee shop. Service was quick and pleasant. The coffee was good, and they also have small eats that were very tasty. Highly recommend.

My wife and I are a sucker for good coffee. So when we found out that there's going to be a new coffee shop downtown, we had to check it out. Flag Coffee Corner is located in the art walk on Montrose street in downtown Clermont. The coffee shop itself is aesthetically pleasing and my wife liked the rustic vibes. We were greeted by the barista who was super sweet and obviously new. My wife is a big coffee drinker and almost always knows what she wants, while I am just the type to get something lol. We both got cold brews with assorted things in them and the coffee was... okay. The black coffee itself was good but we couldn't really tell the difference between our two flavors and add ins. The atmosphere was a 5 and the coffee itself was a 3 but We will definitely be back.

The quality of meat and cheese and subtle sweetness of the balsamic glaze mixed with the fresh arugula was out of this world. And the texture of the fresh bread was perfection. The super thin pepperoni on the flatbread were so delicious and the sauce had a subtle sweetness flavor. There were tons of options I can't wait to try again and a bakery case full of treats. They serve breakfast too which looked amazing. We especially enjoyed the vibes on the outdoor sidewalk seating with Italian music playing as we enjoyed our food. Because this spot is in the historic downtown area of Clermont, street parking is your best bet and there is a public parking lot a short walk away. Will be coming back again and again to this great business.

Having said that, the sandwich was still well-made and quite tasty where all the ingredients were fresh and the bread was still warm and appeared to be fresh baked in house. Nice! If I was eating this sandwich by myself, I would've asked for bacon on the sandwich, which definitely would have made it a top shelf turkey sandwich in my opinion. Being an Italian deli, the majority of the sandwiches do use pork of one kind or another where they looked and sounded quite tasty with a number of house specialties on the menu. The next time I am here, I will definitely make sure to order one of their specialty sandwiches to give this business a much fairer assessment and probably the fifth star that I so wanted to give.

Watching the sunset over the lake while enjoying a great meal makes for an incredible experience. I've eaten here several times because I wanted to make sure my opinion was based on consistency, and they've impressed me every visit. This time I ordered the chimichurri steak, and it was phenomenal. The steak was incredibly tender, and the chimichurri sauce was packed with flavor. It also came with two sweet, soft plantains that were absolutely delicious and fried yuca. Their fried yuca is a must-try. It's perfectly cooked and topped with an amazing sauce that takes it to another level. I've also enjoyed their raw oysters, which have always been fresh and delicious. If you're a seafood lover, their grilled and blackened fish dishes are outstanding as well. The service deserves just as much praise as the food. The waiters and waitstaff are friendly, attentive, and always on point, making every visit feel welcoming. Whether you're looking for a romantic date night, a family dinner, or just a place to relax with a couple of cocktails by the water, Salt Shack is an excellent choice. Between the incredible food, outstanding service, and spectacular lakefront setting, it's easily one of my favorite restaurants in Clermont.

Fries (that were an additional cost) were burnt. For the $17 price one would expect more than a thin slice of bacon for a burger with bacon in the name. My burrito was well made and tasty where it had three scrambled eggs tossed with bacon, cheddar cheese, salsa and sour cream wrapped in a perfectly grilled 12 inch flour tortilla. Other Burrito options include a Sausage burrito, Ham Burrito, Greek Burrito, Veggie Buritto, Hummus & Veggie burrito and a Sausage & Gravy Burrito. Relative to the facility and staff I would label this restaurant as your prototypical mom and pop operation. The Facility itself is nice and clean with a rustic vibe and a smallish number of tables on the order of ten or so. The staff which I believe is a husband and wife combo had the wife waiting on the tables and tending the cash register and the husband cooking. Depending on what you are looking for breakfast and what their menu offers this is an excellent choice for breakfast especially if Breakfast Burrito's are your thing.
