Calypso Coffee Bar has a welcoming, laid‑back atmosphere. Julisa and Ericka were super helpful with suggestions, I tried the Calypso and it was delicious! They even pointed me toward some great local vegan restaurants. The coffee beans are sourced directly from their family farm in Guatemala, bringing love and authentic flavor to every cup. Alongside the drinks, they also provide a variety of vegan snack options. If I lived around here, this would definitely be my favorite coffee spot! Friendly staff, excellent coffee, and a laid-back vibe! Pros: -Cafe con corazón -Chill vibe -Delicious coffee -Vegan snack options -Environmentally conscious cafe -Plenty of parking Cons: -Too far from the West Coast Doce dieciocho dos mil viente cuatro

We fell in love with this beautiful coffee shop today. The coffee was delightful and the service even. Better. They have a big variety of food but I went with the avocado toast and it was delicious, I am still thinking about it. It was topped with pickled onions and a balsamic blaze. Everything was delicious from start to finish.

Unique and colorful coffee shop in Apopka! Puerto Rico owned. In a strip mall so there is plenty of parking. The inside is decorated so fun! Not a ton of available seating but enough! Unique coffee drinks and a large seasonal menu. They even offer coffee flights which is so fun! Not a lot of coffee shops in the Orlando area do this. I got the Super Bowl and bad bunny latte which was a special offering for the Super Bowl. It was guava and cheese and delicious!

Calypso Coffee is truly a gem! This family-owned shop delivers the kind of warm, personal service you just don't find everywhere. Their food options are delightful-- the avocado toast is fresh, and full of flavor, and the Mallorca sandwich is soft, slightly sweet, and delicious. If you're indecisive with the type of coffee you would like you have an option to order a coffee flight. You get to choose four cold coffees. Highly recommend!

Cute Spot with Great Vibes & Tasty Treats! I visited The Calypso Coffee Bar in Apopka today and was pleasantly surprised! It's a small, cozy coffee bar with a really good vibe, definitely the kind of place you'd want to relax or catch up with a friend. They have a scannable menu, which makes browsing easy, and a nice selection of food and drinks, including some unique specials. I tried the Concha from their Hispanic Heritage menu, and it absolutely did not disappoint. Soft, flavorful, and just the right touch of sweet, highly recommend it if it's still on the menu! Prices are on the higher side, but if you're someone who values supporting local, small business owners, it's totally worth it. The atmosphere, service, and quality made it a great experience overall. I'll definitely be back to try more of their seasonal or cultural specials!

Customer service was great! Nice place to work from! Didn't order any food. The flight was $25 and worth it.

I had been meaning to stop by and I was greeted by the owners which are nice, friendly, welcoming and happy to make any suggestions. The shop is open with inside seating and the decor is cute. The owners told me that their drinks are inspired by Greek mythology, which makes it interesting. The also bring their coffee from their own family farm! I love that they are supporting the farmers and it is a family business. I had a latte and it was very acidic for me, but I will be back to give their tea or kombucha a try next time.

Must try coffee stop! Family owned and farm to table coffee from their farm in Guatemala. Super cute spot with lots of unique and classic coffee options. Seasonal flavors and coffee flights available! Super great and friendly service too. Plus you can buy their grown coffee by the bag!

Super cute coffee bar and I love how it is a family business that they soured their own coffee! We got a flight of 4 different coffees which were all so yummy! Loved the Calypso and the creme brûlée! What I will say, the flight was WAY over priced. It was $25 I thought for that price we would get full sized coffees, but we got tiny ones. Probably paid $25 for 2 shots of espresso total so for me personally that was disappointing. Could have paid the same price for 4 full size coffees so I don't know why the price was $25 for the little ones.... Overall I'd come back and try some more coffees. Inside is nice to relax or study and they have many tables to chill!

Fantastic quality coffee bar, Thai tea and breakfast delectables! Atmosphere is pristine and nicely appointed. What's best? Incredible service from the team serving you. Need a recommendation? I've been wanting to visit Calypso and finally had the opportunity to today. I had an amazing experience! The shop is so cute and well decorated. The mermaid vibes are amazing. The parking is also great. The staff were very welcoming and helped me navigate the menu. They gave helpful recommendations. I ended up selecting Aphrodite's Love potion, a white mocha latte with rose. It was absolutely delicious. The coffee is the highest quality. The rose was floral, and not too overpowering. The drink was sweet, but not overly sweet. The whip was a nice touch and they put dried rose petals on top. It was absolutely perfect. I'm excited to come back and try more. Calypso is a small locally owned business. They're an amazing choice if you're trying to support the community and avoid corporate coffee.

    Coffee flight!

Came in here with my husband to try their famous coffee flight and grab breakfast. Although I love the concept of the coffee flight, the price shocked us. I do understand it is because 4 craft coffees are created for this, but it cost more (double) any beer flight we've ever had. The coffees were all delicious (the Calypso) was my favorite, but they were all SUPER sweet. They all felt like dessert drinks. Just keep that in mind if you are getting a signature drink. I don't like sweet coffees so it felt overbearing after a couple of sips. For the flight and an avocado toast we paid $50 which felt kind of crazy. We wouldn't do that again, it's more of a novelty and I'm typically a simple coffee girly. The service was good (a little slow) and the location was cute. I'm not sure if we'll be back because there are other craft coffee shops that are closer to home that cost less.

They have a tube rental truck where we rented our tubes for the lazy river over at Rock Springs. We stopped in for a few beers and a quick bite after tubing. Immediately the vibe was exactly what we were looking for. Chill, relaxed and easy going. Our bartender was a lovely chatty woman, serving with a smile and great recommendations for what we should do next. We ordered food & drinks and played some tunes on their touch tunes jukebox box. We amused ourselves with the customary message on a dollar bill tapped to the roof activity. The food came out crisp and hot. Fries were excellent! Wings juicy. Chicken tenders fried perfectly. They are a beer and wine establishment. No hard liquor. An elderly gentleman man, who we assumed was the owner, came over to say hello to us and was very pleasant also with recommendations for our next adventure. We walked in and were instantly greeted by the staff, they were not busy, we went to the bar and had a seat. I looked around and noit much had changed since my last visit, it isstill a dive biker bar, which I absolutley love. The friendly bartender, Ben, came over, gave us menus and took our drink order, I ordered a beer which he grabbed and put a cold one down in front of me instantly. My wife and I both ordered Bacon Cheeseburgers with fries and Jalapeno Poppers to start. The poppers came pretty quickly, they were the typical premade frozen type, but they were hot and good. I'll give them a pas next time. The burgers arrived and they were excellent- just what me and the wife were craving. am not usually a fan of crinkle-cut fries, but I make an exception here- the are crispy and tasty. The burgers were tasty and delicious, just like I remembered. We both scarfed our burgers down fairly quickly. It was Karaoke night, but there weren't any takers, so the DJ sang most of the songs, and I must admit, he was pretty entertaining. But the surprise of the night was when the chef came out and sang a song- he can not only cook a mean burger, he can sing! If you are hankering for a good burger in a Dive Bar, I can highly recommend this place! I will be coming back more- next time I want the Cheesesteak!

After giving our drink order for refillable sodas and spicy tuna roll, we took a moment to take in the colorful decor. There are no less than four lucky cats waving to patrons constantly. I love spicy tuna rolls, and I loved the presentation. The ginger was rolled into a rose and the Wasabi a tiny flower. The roll was fresh and crunchy. We both got the Steak and Shrimp Habachi with fried rice and white sauce. The steak was cut up in tiny pieces and over cooked, no pink. The shrimp was large and tasty. The establishment was nice and cozy. The food orders were quick. I ordered three sushi rolls. California roll: definitely different than your normal Cali roll. The imitation crab is minced some compared to just getting a crab stick whole. It was still delicious even on the second day, too. White tempura fish roll: perfect roll in every way possible for me. The only thing missing that I would recommend is the tempura flakes on top . Chicken tempura roll: Yes, I know it's not the normal roll you expect. It's why I gave it a try. It was similar to the white tempura fish but a slight difference in flavor. Now, some other dishes the family had was the steak on the hot rock. The fired rice was to die for. It was so nicely seasoned with light green scallions and scrambled eggs. A literal party in your mouth. The steak was tender and seasoned like salt Bae paid a visit just to season our steaks personally. Of course, the cucumber spicy salad was the chefs kiss to us. It was so hydrating with a nice mild kick to it. Please swing by to check them out. You will be back for sure. I promise you.

You have to open many of these tiny butter packets to get enough for the pancakes, which were barely warm. The worst is the bacon tastes terrible. But, I got it very crispy and I asked for no crispy on the bacon and I received it all in bits and pieces. See pix below. My spouse says that the grits are not as creamy as other restaurants, but not bad. Lastly, the coffee is so bad and at $3.89 a cup, it would have been great if it's worth the overpriced taste. The wait staff was rude and got impatient with me when I showed her the burnt toast. Her attitude needs a more positive approach. She made me uncomfortable whenever she spoke to me. We have unanimously decided that this place has no friendly vibes while you're there. Their metal chairs are very uncomfortable and very low for taller people.
