The meat and cheese is excellent!! I didn't have a wine slushie, but others in my group did and they said that they were delicious. It was super nice, so we sat outside. We had an awesome package of prosciutto and some honey goat cheese. It was all pre-packaged and they had paper plates and wooden serving ware. Still, it was pretty good. The crackers were ok, they looked like communion wafers and tasted very bland. Still, I enjoyed the overall experience! read more

Flagler Beachfront Winery is an amazing little winery right across Highway A1A in Flagler Beach, Florida. (It's about 15 miles north of Daytona Beach on Highway A1A). It sports a deck with 8 or 10 tables as well as a nice sized seating area inside. The winery is in the back part of the store and can be seen through a large window. Daily specials are offered 7 days a week and include bottles of wine, desserts, tapas boards, flatbreads, glasses of wine, etc. It is one of the few wineries offering wine slushies. They started with only 2 flavors of slushies, Pino Gris (dry) and Sweet Red Concord. Now 5 Years later, they offer 8 flavors of wine slushees plus 11 Twisted Combos. What a cool little spot. They actually make their wines (grape based). They offer wine samplings too. You can compliment your favorite wine with a great selection of meats and cheeses. I particularly enjoyed the lavender espresso cheese. Although it was a little chilly for me to slurp down slushies, I saw plenty of people drinking them. I have tried this place before and gotten the Sangria which was delicious, but had yet to try their famous Wine Slushies that everyone raves about. I went with the Hurricane Matthew Slushie which is a shot of all the wines. I do have to say it is very sweet, so if you like sweet than you will enjoy it, I enjoyed it but would have liked it to be less sweet. I also tried a couple of their wines but I wasn't a huge fan. I do believe you can go inside to try before ordering, so will do that next time when less crowded. It was very crowded on a Saturday afternoon, my boyfriend & I were lucky to grab the last table in the front. I know that guidelines are changing but there is no social distancing or masks if that is a concern for you. We also ordered the brie & fig jam board with fresh bread. The only thing I would have liked is that they would warm up the brie since that is normally how it is served. It was wrapped up...not sure if this was a covid precaution but if so...the bread was not wrapped and it was warmed up so it kind of contradicts that if that was the case. Wine slushees were good, location is great, and beach views were pretty. Inside atmosphere could use some sprucing. The No. 7 cheese board was the saddest looking cheese board when it came out. Two small wedges of cheese and half of a baguette. We were under the impression it came with a full baguette and an olive oil side due to conversations with one of the serves, so that added to our disappointment. I posted about the sand looking stuff in my wine. I was informed this is normal and the owner offered me a gift card. I apologize for my mistake and thank the owners for their kindness. We always loved this winery and bring our friends,and family there but I never experienced this sand looking fermentation before when I bought wine there. So now I know and will be back. Flagler Beach Winery has always been 1 of my favorite places. They have plenty of outside seating, that are social distanced. All the servers were wearing masks and made us feel safe during Covid. They have the most amazing olives and meat and cheese boards. During Covids everything was served in disposable containers. We like the red blend corduroy the red blend. Came here on vacation while visiting my sister. LOVE this place! We came on a Sunday, when they were offering $5 sangrias. They had a light, fruity and refreshing taste that I enjoyed, so I ordered 2 (I was feeling great after!) The glasses were a little bigger than average. My party of 3 tried the Kelly's delight board, as a recommendation from our server. It was delicious and was enough for the 3 of us. I am back in Virginia now, and I'm wishing I could still taste that olive oil and cheese. They serve a wide variety of tapas boards so there will be something for everyone to enjoy. There seemed to only be one man and one woman working, but they were on it! Our food and drinks came out fast and they were constantly checking on us. Not to mention, they were extremely friendly! The weather was perfect that day, so we sat outside. I loved that the winery is across from the beach, but also on side street parking so you'll get a great view of the beach AND parked cars (lol). If you sit inside, they have fun board games for guests to enjoy. I am looking forward to my next trip to Flagler Beach so I can visit again. Next time, I'll try their slushies. Kelly is the sweetest person!!! She was a joy to have taking care of us! If you do but one thing get the Miami Vice slushy. It is the BEST THING! But, make sure you mix it together first! The tasting for anything is .50 cent and tastings are unlimited so that's great. You can try until your hearts content. 3 days later........... I'VE BEEN SLUSHED........I have came back a few days later and I do believe it has gotten better!!!! The laid back atmosphere. The personality of Kelly is worth it in-itself. So today I find out there are3 sizes of slushies. I got the 16oz glass. Sitting outside enjoying the view is the best part. They are in a prime location directly in front the beach!!! This little beachfront gem was the highlight of our most recent Florida trip. It was an easy drive up the coast from Daytona too. We started with a tasting of 7 fantastic reds and whites including two distinctly different chardonnays, a killer Pinot Gris with grapes sourced from Ohio (seriously, try it!), and my favorite - the red Tortuga, a big full-bodied and complex beauty of a wine. We then each selected a wine to have a full glass and were pleasantly surprised that there are several meat and cheese plate options as well. The choices were obviously well thought out to pair with the wine offerings. This place may not look like your typical winery, but it is every bit the experience you might hope for while visiting one! We went here after going to Daytona. We are from Orlando and would totally do the hour drive for this winery. Their wines are awesome. My husband likes sweet wines and I like dry. We had the turtuga, shades and Riptide. They were all awesome and prices were great. Shades is my husbands new favorite wine. We also got a tumbler and wine slushy. My fiancee lived in Michigan and he looks forward every year to try Oberon beer. It was a nice surprise to find it in this lovely beachfront bar with an assortment of awesome wines and craft beers. Kelly and Ken were great hosts and they made us feel at home. They even stayed open late for us to hang out together. The service was so above and beyond that we came back the next day to enjoy their establishment. Flagler Beachfront Winery is a great change of pace from the local bars. This very unassuming shack makes some seriously tantalizing wines. You would never know it driving by. In fact, the building used to be a Pizza Hut a few years back! Nevertheless, the ambiance is typical of a small beach town: relaxed, friendly, and everybody knows your name. The owner immediately greeted us with tasters and samples of all the wines including his famous wine slushies. I told him the style of wine I normally fancy, and he grabbed me a sample of a spectacular dry blood red dark Shiraz. I was sold. Granted, at $9.99 a glass, one may pause to reconsider, but I couldn't resist. My friends shared a bottle of the sweet red wine along with some flatbread pizza. The owner whipped up some snacks especially for me (not necessarily on the menu, so kudos for accommodating vegans). The spot is ideal for any occasion: date, family or solo night. Drink slowly! That glass of Shiraz was so good, I downed it in 10 minutes and was slurring words for the remaining two hours I was there. Unreal! A+++ for delightful wine and uber hospitable service! read more

I was brought here on a date once and I have loved it ever since. This is a local winery right on the beach. It seems their most popular thing is the wine slushies, which are my favorite. They have a selection of flavors but most of the time I do the 'kamikaze' which is a mix of all of them. I bought one of their cups for $20 and you bring it in for half price refills. This place also serves softserve with their wine. They are dog friendly and have a fantastic beach view. It makes for a romantic date night. Plus, the owners are super nice. read more

Holy wine slushie, Batman! If you're into adventurous sweet wines mostly, this is your place. Not being big into sweets, I did enjoy the Pinot Gris and the Peach Slushie. Neither were sweet, and both hit me just right. For $10 you can buy the slushie mug, and then it'll cost you $10 every time you want to fill it. That's a pretty good deal. My husband LOOOOOOVED the sweet concord slushie as it tasted just like grape juice. If you like that kind of thing, you'll love this. All of their slushies are made with real wine, and each sample costs .50, so that's a great way to sample the various slushies and/or the various wines in order to figure out what you might want to order in a larger size. They also offer some good tapas cheese and meat platters, with really good baguettes, as well as flatbreads. Felt like we were back in France with our cheeses, baguette and wine. Really, really friendly gals working here, and a nice inside environment to sit and enjoy. The outside patio is very limited in its shady seating, but inside has ample room and AC. read more
