I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding an appointment I scheduled with Dr Milena Jguenti (Medicaid Certified PCP#104946) at Flagler Family Medicine PA, 33 Old Kings Rd N, Ste 3, Palm Coast, FL 32137. On 6/12/25 I booked an appointment with Dr Jguenti, confirmed both by my medical insurance company, Humana, and by the administration, Ms. Amber, of the department responsible for new patients within your medical association. I received a letter from Humana specifying that Dr Jguenti accepts new patients, and the appointment date was recorded and communicated to me by your department administration. Furthermore, on 6/13/25 before the appointment, your administration called me to come to the office in advance to sign necessary forms. They also faxed a request to my previous doctor to send my medical file to Dr Jguenti's office before my scheduled appointment. However, when I arrived on 7/2/25 at the appointed time 3:40, there was Dr Jguenti and receptionist Christina near the reception window. They asked who I was and why I came. When I explained that I was a new patient arriving for my scheduled appointment, there was a pause, and the doctor quickly walked away without speaking further. The receptionist then spoke to me very rudely, stating I did not have an appointment and that I would not be seen because Dr Jguenti does not accept new patients. I was speechless and confused. I asked what had happened, whether they received my medical file, and what I should do next as I urgently need a medical examination and referrals to a dermatologist, urologist, and for blood tests. The receptionist said she knew nothing, was very busy, and told me to leave immediately. There was no one else in the reception area, and she refused to answer any of my questions, repeatedly insisting I leave. This experience felt humiliating and cruel. As a 70-year-old woman suffering from ongoing health issues, I felt discriminated against and treated with complete disrespect. The doctor never came out to speak to me, and it seemed as if this was a planned action to reject me without explanation. I remain in shock from this experience. read more

Single day emergency services have been wonderful in the past. However, getting admitted to the ICU or staying in the actual facility has been terrible. You can't even leave your bed; you're not allowed to leave your bed AT ALL or an alarm goes off. You literally have to piss and s*** in jars in your bed. You are not allowed get up and get a drink or use the restroom in your room on your own. Next time I'll just suffer or try to make it to Jax. read more

I have been a patient here for over 20 years, I did not cancel an appointment, one that your office made a year in advance. I called the office on the morning of the appointment and waited 15 minutes to talk to someone. That person just asked if I wished to reschedule, no mention of a $50 fee. I am 77 years old, and I am appaled that a business that calls itself "family medicine" is so insensitive to its patients. Not just the fee, but the multiple collection efforts made to extract such apunitive and unnecessary fee. After 20 plus years, I am going to have to look for another primary physician option. It's a shame that the practice that Andy Gunn started has reduced itself to such a level! read more

Can't recommend unless you have just a minor issue. Lacking quality doctors who act nothing more than a referral service. They are ill-equipped to handle/diagnosis anything remotely complex. Head to a specialist first off because that is where you will end up anyway. read more

I have been a patient at Flagler Family Medicine ever since they opened over 20 years ago and never had any kind of problem. First Dr. Krueger. was replaced by Dr. Dolgin, who retired in Dec 2021. I was assigned to Dr Look, who did not see me for almost a year. I was treated by very competent physician assistants, who are very helpful in any way. I had hip replacement surgery in November. At this time Dr. Look and I met for a post ap appointment for the first time. This meeting lasted for 15 minutes. I did not have a positive feeling and asked to be reassigned to another physician within the office. I received a prompt dismissal, via certified letters. Please pick up you records. If you have any problems, go to the Emergency Room for treatment. I was shocked. I am 83 years old and had hip surgery a week prior. Is this a kind Dr.? I think not. How can he throw me out just like that? Please be aware. It could happen to you in this Flagler Family Medicine. I will be looking for another Doctor. I am sad and disappointed read more

I am a patient at this practice in Palm Coast. I am very happy with Dr. Jguenti; but, I am very unhappy with the practice. When you are ill and need to see a Doctor, you are not given the option to see a Doctor. The choice they give you is to see a Nurse Practitioner or go to an Urgent Care Clinic. This is very unacceptable. You are going to someone who does not know your history; when your history may be very important in the treatment or medication you will need. This has occurred twice; so, I know this is their common practice. I also recently received a notice that for Original Medicare Patients they are becoming an Accountable Care Organization (ACO). I did research; this is not good for Original Medicare patients. 1) ACO manage costs by directing patients to less expensive care settings. 2) ACO' s have the incentive to reduce the cost of care. 3) Medicare rewards ACO's with a portion of the savings in patients care. The more money an ACO saves Medicare, the more the practice stands to earn. 4) Often patients are directed to less expensive care settings. Ex. Patients may be given exercises by the Doctor instead of sending them to licensed skilled therapist. 5) This may lead to the patient not getting the best chance of a good outcome. This is the straw the broke the camels back. I am looking for another Doctor and I will ask if they are an ACO practice. read more

The doctors at this practice are prejudice against patients who have pre-existing conditions and take certain kinds of medicine. They will not see you if you have high cholesterol or have a sleep disorder. I find this to be rather disgusting to be prejudged by the medical profession who openly prescribe pharmaceuticals on a regular basis. Don't waste your time. read more

I called to make an appointment to see a new primary physician after consulting my insurance and finding out that they have several physicians here that take my insurance. I was then called back and (I'm not kidding-) told that because of a medication that I am PRESCRIBED BY A SEPARATE PSYCHIATRIC PROVIDER that all of the physicians here will not see any patients on ANY "controlled" medications...! I am completely flabbergasted and disgusted. This is the most blatant discrimination I've ever encountered in my life- it's morally and ethically reprehensible! Not only is this implying that any patient on a controlled substance is bad, undesirable or up to no good- stereotyping millions of Americans because of some backwards, archaic stigma- it is in direct disregard of the very principals these "medical providers" are sworn to uphold! Just imagining the addict in treatment, chronic pain sufferer or treated mentally ill individuals less resilient than myself being told they are not welcome patients here because of these facts- and the pain and SHAME they're going to feel in trying to simply get a primary doctor for general care is absolutely heartbreaking and infuriating. I had a very bad experience with the punitive treatment I received regarding billing. In October, 2019 I received a certified letter from Dr. Milena Jguenti with the outpatient Flagler Medicine & Wellness clinic in St. Augustine informing me that I was to be cut off from all services. SInce I had never been to the clinic and didn't see any names on the heading of the letter that I had ever heard of I was clueless. I had had a full knee replacement and then been in Flagler hospital and a rehabilitation center. As far as I knew I had paid in full every bill I had so I was quite astounded. As an aside, I am conscientious about paying off my bills and have a high FICO score. I called and asked them to send me an itemized bill. I found out by a phone call that the bill had to do with services in the rehab. They told me that they had billed me in June. Possibly they had but I received so many bills that I had paid off including services from Suzanne Weed, who I learned came from this office. I told them that I would take the bill to review with my employer health insurance representative. I received their itemized bill and shortly thereafter a collections notice. I would strongly recommend not going to this clinic based on this type of punitive way of handling billing. My bill is a small amount and I am paying it. Though it may be a duplicate payment I don't wish to have further contact with this office. This is a shame as Suzanne Weed is a solid and compassionate clinidian. read more

Lack of respect bordering on rudeness was really upsetting. They displayed a complete lack of interest in my sickness. Suggested I go to urgent care or emergency room if I wanted to see a doctor more quickly than the five days it would take to have me vetted to become a new patient. Wow! read more

I was tempted to give a second star to this office, simply because wait times are always a minimum and the staff is usually nice enough, but that's being generous considering the horrific treatment I have received from a physician in this office. So it's a 1-star for me. During the COVID-19 outbreak, I was due for my annual physical and needed a refill on a medication. I called to request the refill and the doctor called me back to say she would not refill without seeing me. I understood that and agreed to come in after the concern over this global pandemic has passed and asked for a 90-day refill. She then proceeded to berate me for 20 minutes because I hadn't been to see her in 11 months. Now, look, I understand that she'd like to reevaluate me, but I don't think 90 days will make much of a difference one way or another. And I'd rather not go into a doctor's office (Or anywhere for that matter) unless absolutely necessary. I'm not particularly concerned about my health, but that I might be a carrier and infect the many elderly patients (the doctor included) who are regularly in this office. Also, this is a medication I have been on for over two years and it's not something I should stop taking suddenly. I only have a week's supply left and she only offered another week's supply, which my insurance will not cover because I have to do 90-day refills. So seeing me in the next two weeks was more important than making sure I don't die from abruptly stopping this medication. Good to know. Every other practice in the country is asking patients with non-essential appointments to postpone their appointments and are refilling prescriptions as needed. Why was my (now former) doctor unable to do this? Not only that, she went out of her way to refill the prescription but only filled it for 0 days. No, that's not a typo. Zero days' supply. She took the time to submit a prescription, but make it so that I still couldn't get my medication. This is at best rude and at worst medically negligent. Then, to top it all off, she hung up on me. I have never been treated so abysmally by a doctor in my lifetime, and this was the second time she had refused to listen to my medical concerns or to treat me. So, I don't think I'll ever be returning to Flagler Family Medicine. read more

Me and my wife have been going to Flagler Family Medicine for over 8 years. For many years all was good with the service but it started going down hill. They move you in and out and the doctor sees you less and less. The last time I seen the doctor he spent all of 5 minutes with me. We had to find another doctor. They also have issues with making appointments and they are very rude if you have any problems. I was very tired of getting phoned off on the nurse practitioner because of their mistake. I came to see the doctor not a nurse. I will take my business elsewhere. read more
