I hardly had any pain after the surgery and can now sleep through the night without waking up with my hand numb and/or feeling like it's on fire. Such a relief. I brought my mom here to see Dr. Grimes's Physician Assistant due to her knee arthritis acting up…read more This is the first time she's seen him, and really just needed a quick visit to get her knees injected with corticosteroids. The PA, Patrick, was attentive and engaging. He took a thorough history, and did an appropriate physical exam. When it came time to do the knee injections, he gave complete informed consent. This means he discussed what the procedure would involve, the risks of the procedure, side effects of the procedure, alternatives to the procedure, and the risks of no therapy. This is important, as it shows he was interested in what was best for his patient. My mom has a hard time getting up onto an exam table, so he easily injected her knees while she was sitting in the chair. She felt no pain during injection, and over the next few days was like a new woman. They did a really nice job. I was impressed. Overall, we were in and out of there in about 30 minutes total time. Very nice!

I was still not really sure about it until he adjusted me and then let me tell you my pain was gone. After only one visit!!!! I didn't realize how good it felt to feel good again. When I walked outside everything seemed brighter and I was so happy my whole perspective just shifted. I can see why they're such a busy office. Although he has many patients he and his front desk staff make you feel like you are the only one. Another thing I want to mention is about the front desk staff, they are genuinely friendly and kind. It is such a relief to find a Dr and staff that truly care about their patients. Dr.Patel has converted me into a true believer. Flagler Hospital has treated my mother so well in the past. We came today on the recommendation of…read moreher doctor. She has fallen 4 times in the last 5 days and he wanted them to check her out and maybe admit her for observation. She had a small cut and bruising on her right arm. He patched that up and discharged her. We waited an hour after the nurse told us she was discharged and we disagreed for him to come back somewhat agitated and loud. He eventually ordered blood work, urinalysis and somewhat later a CT scan of her brain. So eventually the right thing but much disconnect between patient, nurse and doctor. I'm sure he's very good but communication broke down here tonight.
