Not only did I not get the labs nor get to see the doctor, they took me in back to get interrogated by the billing department about a 40$ past payment. They also knew I was out of my blood pressure meds and seemed to be purposely trying to upset me. I will never go back there.

The last month my family member has been going through a lot of life threatening situations. I don't think the gate keepers know what their role's are. As it is the medical fields here in flagstaff do not talk to each other. We have been going in circles since he was diagnosed. That's where I come back to East Flagstaff family medicine. I have reached out to this office who has been our families Dr for over 20 years. Honestly I think if our Dr/nurse practitioner (Sara Reeves) would just call me or my husband back to hear our concerns we might be able to understand why we are always referred to the ER, which is it's own hell hole. Today was the last straw when our specialist said we needed to contact our primary dr for a referral for a procedure. Again another circle. called East Flagstaff Family medicine to get the referral , after waiting on hold listening to everyone's resume I got through. When I finally got the receptionist that put me on hold for ever, just to come back to tell me we needed to go to the ER. For a referral really???? I'm done with them I love Sarah Reeves, but, It's hell to get to even talk to her. I will never refer this office to anyone. If you sick just go to the ER, apparently that' the only place that can help you and not even then. I suggest you look at all the reviews that have the same referral to the ER. or urgent care. this is weird since they are looking for customers. I guess they can't be sick. hmmmmm

I thought it was a good conversation for something I so needed, contact with a health care person. We discussed health care insurance United, Medicare and he assured me I was covered. Be hind the scenes I got a message on my phone and some pressure to yield my credit card and personal information on an unsecured line. I had explained to the guy who took my reservation that I would bring my cards in. So behind the scenes my appointment was canceled with some discussion in a text that given how many uncollected charges and returned checks, "I am sure you understand." And no I do not understand why I sat for an hour in a hallway and no Rodriquez appeared. They had my phone number and they waned my credit card information before they would see me. RED FLAG This looked like fraud to me. Soliciting personal information before and appointment looks dishonest. Anyone can print a number on a card make an appointment and terrorize older patients into giving up personal information. I do not know if Jared even exists. I have not talked to him or seen him. I would be very careful If I were you to give out information, period. He just might have some unscrupulous people behind the scenes. In any event look else where. Urgent care does a a great job of caring for the sick.

I called and received a next day appointment. I could barely move to get out of bed and was so sick, but got dressed and made it to the car, then hit traffic. My husband is blind, so he cannot drive me and my daughter is away at college. I called as a courtesy to say that I was running 10 minutes late and explained my issue. The receptionist was as cold as a Flagstaff New year's morning. She said they had to cancel as I only had a 30 minute appointment. What happened to the hour long promise?.I told her I was fine with 20 minutes. She told me my appointment was already cancelled! Now I have been there.a couple of times and no one ever met me at the door to take me right back, so this was bogus! I was then sick in bed and missed 10 days of work! I struggled through the next two weeks self medicating when my husband said to swallow my pride and make another appointment as I wasn't getting well. I called on Wednesday and they gave me an appointment on MONDAY! Definitely not same day and definitely not triaging as I'd been so ill for so long. I went to urgent care and was put on FOUR meds, because I am so sick. Then the snotty receptionist called this morning to offer me an application tommorow. When I pointed out her poor triaging and how sick I am, she coldly pointed out policy. My story is not unique. We have reported to HR how several staff members have experienced when one has called and received an appointment a day or so out and later on the same day with the same symptoms another staff member calls and gets an appointment sooner. It's not because one opens up because we always say that we want to be on the wait list. Other states have poor review for Vera. We were assured this one would be different. Just another broken promise.

My wife was willing to get her tubes tied, but after four children she has done more than her fair share in building our family. It was my turn, and time for a vasectomy. The thought of it made me cringe. I couldn't even read about the different procedures without getting queasy. In my research I read a lot about the no scalpel method, and Dr Rumohr came highly regarded. I was in the office for another procedure and asked that they call me to schedule because I knew I'd never proactively do it myself. A week later they called, and we got scheduled. The day before the procedure I freaked out and had tons of questions. They split my appointments so I could get some time with the Doc prior. After coming in for the consultation I was put fully at ease. The staff was super attentive and not judgmental about a grown man being a huge baby. Dr Rumohr has an amazing bedside manner, and didn't seem to be bothered by me asking several follow up questions. Very personable, confident, and clearly experienced. I knew I was in good hands. Today I took the Valium, had my wife drive me in, and prepared for what I thought was going to be crazy pain. I was completely wrong. I opted for the nitrous, well worth the extra fee by the way, and about 20 minutes later I was heading home. No real pain, nothing crazy to write about. I have a week to get back to being semi normal still, but I'm quite confident this was the best decision both in procedure (no scalpel) and Doctor. Very impressed, and will recommend Dr Rumohr to all of my buddies that were waiting and watching how I handled it. If you're looking for a vasectomy, this is your doctor!
