They had some growing pains with the heat when the first opened but have that under control now... The yoga classes they offer are just what I needed every time I went. I especially loved taking Kortney's classes. YogaSix prides itself on providing a "sensory yoga experience accessible to all," and I can see why... the instructors all provide modifications so whether you are beginner, intermediate, or advanced, you can give your body what it needs that day. Their six core classes are: Y6 101, Y6 Restore, Y6 Slow Flow, Y6 Hot, Y6 Power, and Y6 Sculpt & Flow. I've taken the Y6 Hot, Y6 Power, and Y6 Sculpt & Flow and have enjoyed them all... I highly recommend taking advantage of their introductory offer (currently $26 for the first week although that may change) or I believe you can also do your first class for just $10. Note: this studio is all about selling memberships, providing long term benefits and customer service, and that is not a bad thing, but even if you're just interested in drop-ins on occasion like me, you'll likely get a lot of follow up phone calls! Even so, I'll continue to drop in for some solid classes on future trips to Flag and recommend that you do the same!

I first joined this sacred temple in attempts to learn more about myself. Learn and grow I did. The instructors I trained under were kick ass. Like rip your head off make it look easy. The one who honed my basic skills was Laoshi Harrison. To have such an instructor was an honor. In my time training I would learn forms and principles that I could take to my day to day life. Principles like: breath work, root, striking, flexibility, blocking, & holds. Mind you I am not looking for a fight. But, SHOCK AND LOCK. Am I right? As a student I felt respected. As a student I felt appreciated. As a student I felt nurtured. That is what allowed me to grow. That is what made me keep coming back. This element of care I promise you won't find anywhere else. And it is the exact element of healing that is in the name and is what makes this house of martial arts special. This temple was a place where I could improve. Where I could fall on my face and not be laughed at. If my form wasn't right or I did something wrong. I wasn't reprimanded. I was guided in the right direction. My 6 months training at Sacred Mountain has given me something that is rare to find - Confidence and Security. Sure you can buy a gun and kill someone trying to defend yourself. I know that the work has to come from me and Ryan chooses just the right exercises with just the right amount of difficulty to push me forward. He's completely supportive and fun along the way. I never would have gotten back to my current level of activity without his supportiveness, patience, and expertise. There are some incredible athletes going through the gym doors and most of them are also supportive and welcoming, even though I've never met them before. It's a great family place.

Upon entering, I was greeted by Cedric and Jude. They immediately greeted me and set me up with all the essentials in belaying and helping my kid. I had Jude give us some essentials to ensure we we safe, and also have a fun time. To add some context, I'm completely deaf and Jude totally took the time to review clearly, and then best part was validating each step to ensure I had clean knowledge transfer. I then had some additional help from Cedric who ensured I understood how to tie my knot for my climber. Thank you again folks!

Jay was the coach, and he welcomed me immediately. While it was a big class, he did a great job of coordinating and the workout got started right on time. He also ran the workout in staggered heats which helped a lot. It wasn't a super technical workout so I didn't get (need) a lot of coaching, but Jay was very attentive to everyone. The members were very friendly and the atmosphere nice and laid back. If I lived in Flag, this would be my gym.
