I am deeply disappointed by how this place treats their longest-standing members. Because of this,…read moreit has actually caused me -- along with many others -- to leave. I've personally heard multiple horror stories from people who are still waiting on refunds. I can easily name at least five. A lot of members are frustrated and upset with how the business owner is handling these situations. It also feels like significant effort is being made to prevent these experiences and reviews from being publicly shared on platforms like Google and Yelp.

I was welcomed by a very nice gentleman who was the coach for the class. Once we talked for a little while I felt comfortable. He was very friendly and thorough with explaining the work out. During the class the coach walked around the class and made sure we were doing ok. My daughter wanted to learn boxing... so I'm like...Okaaaaay…read more Boxing sounded a bit intimidating but I'll give it a try. Average Joe's was awesome. They make everyone feel welcome. Doesn't matter how old you are or what shape your in. It's about working out and having fun doing it. The place is kinda small but thats ok. The owners are extremely nice. In fact, everyone I met at Average Joe's was super nice. They give you a free class to try it out... and yes, my daughter had a blast. The owners took the time to teach my daughter how to box safely. First the foot work, then hands and then the arms. Each class is an hour. After boxing, they offered wrestling. My daughter wanted to try that too. She ended up liking the boxing practice a little better. So yeah, we will be back.
