Came to a wedding here and it was absolutely gorgeous! The set up was beautiful and seamless. I love how the wedding couple was able to personalize everything. Dance floor next to the fireplace was perfect. Food was good. Lots of servers kept everything going. read more

We have a home in Flagstaff Ranch. Played golf there and it is truly beautiful. The golf course is beautiful with great views. I understand it hasn't been a great experience for all and I can't speak for them, but we have had good luck there. read more

I wanted you to know one of the greatest comforts as an owner at Flagstaff Ranch Country Club is the great food at the Country Club restaurant and bar and the easy accessibility and delicious well prepared grilled food provided by Darnel the chef at the Chuckwagon. We have seen Darnel provide great and fast service with a smile and not have a bit of stress. He moves quickly and multi task when he has 8 orders from golfers and more people waiting in line. He makes it all look so easy. Food is hot and delicious. It saves me time and effort by eating at the Chuckwagon and not in my own kitchen. It is a fabulous luxury I like to take advantage of. Darnel does a fabulous job and is always pleasant and positive. Greets you when you arrive and when you depart he says "Good bye have a great rest of your day." I'm not even sure a person can say ONE bad thing about this place. Was here for a wedding and truly hated to leave. This place is above and beyond incredible. However, you place me in pretty much any venue, restaurant, hotel, in Flagstaff or any mountain town as wonderful as Flagstaff, it would take a LOT for me to actually say something bad. I have ZERO bad things to say about the Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club. This place is like...ok like, God took a piece of Heaven and placed it right here on earth, in the US, in Flagstaff, AZ. The golf course is probably one of the most beautiful golf courses I've ever seen. Not too many other can compare to this one. While you play, you have the small (man-made) lake/pond thingy (lol) in the center, with the woods in the first background, yes, I said the first background because this place has two backgrounds. The second is the view of the INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL San Francisco Peaks. There is this gigantic cliff on the course, off to the side that looks like is traveled over from Sedona, got tired and was like...what a perfect place to land with that amazing view of the Peaks, Haha! My close friend got married here. We've known each other for almost 20 years. We may live far apart and may not talk every day, but the friendship is there and always will be. So when I saw that she and her new hubby chose this place, I couldn't have thought of a more perfect place for those 2 wonderful people to marry. Ok, so, back to the review lol. The actual building looks like your classic mountain lodge type. I wonder if they have rooms people can rent out or like small cabins? Hmmm! Anyway, this place is immaculate!! I have a dream, been a lifelong one to live in the mountains, in a small, but big enough mountain lodge style home. So when I go to a place like this one, I'm like a fat kid in a candy store! Eyes all wide like a deer in the headlights, running around looking at everything the way a chubby kid does when he looks at all the candy he wants but his mom is always like..."hell no! You get one!" Haha! My "one" would be...me having a home that looks like this place, not in size, just appearance haha, and that has KILLER views like this place does! Back to the fat kid, like every fat kid in a candy store, they get sad when they have to leave... I was so sad I had to leave hahaha! So basically, this place is absolutely incredible and I couldn't think of a better place to get married and for Jen to get married. I told her that I would steal her idea if I ever got married....not gonna happen, but I'd love a place like this to get married at :) The staff. They were all incredibly nice people. There was one girl tho, younger one, who was watching the doughnut table. She was a tad intense, not very friendly, almost too militant. Take it down a notch, sis, haha! It's a wedding. We were there to have fun and you should too...or maybe not work big events like that? There was a guy, I believe his name was, Antonio. Talk about one very sweet human. Very friendly, very attentive, he was on top of his work...and did it all with a smile. All other staff I came in contact with (other than militant doughnut girl) were very nice people. The food was fantastic! Not your typical wedding food. The same "do you want chicken or fish?" This was a mix of so many things. Jen is Mexican, so there was a variety of Mexican food and a variety of American type foods. There were chicken sliders and beef sliders, the MOST AMAZING macaroni and cheese lol, waffle fries, salads, I mean, all kinds of things! I loved how they decided to have this vs the regular things you'd eat at a wedding. So, I mean, I loved this wedding, venue, the people who were there...it was a perfect weekend. Only sad thing was...I didn't get enough time in Flagstaff and didn't get enough time with my friend who got married. Everything went so fast. Wouldn't mind another weekend down there to revisit my old stomping grounds (I lived in Flag and I have a very special love for that city) and to spend some time with, Jen :) Ok, as always, I'm sure I'm running out of room per Yelps rules, standards, yada, yada, yada Haha! Top notch course, great food in the restaurant and the staff knows how to treat the members!

This club regularly lies about what their members are paying for and will receive. Always short on food and guilt trip their guests for wondering where amenities are. Golf course is closed regularly for seemingly no reason with no explanation. Don't join this club, there are much better options in flagstaff. read more

Seemed like a nice course but they turned away our foursome when we arrived 10 minutes late. No attempt to accommodate, reimburse, or resolve in any way (e.g. let us use the driving range). A little disappointed about how they handled the situation. read more

My husband and I had our wedding here in July and had the most wonderful experience. We were originally going to have the ceremony on the course but when the weather was looking bad there was the perfect backup plan location on the covered patio and it was just as beautiful! The clubhouse is gorgeous and was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. The food was also delicious and the entire staff was great. We have to give a special shout out to the manager Jason who was exceptional. He was happy to answer all of our questions and the day of would have been a mess without him. This review is about the property. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the golf course itself is no exception. The property is just south of I-40 so easy to access and only minutes from the local shops and eateries of downtown Flagstaff. There are many beautiful homes as well as town homes and condo-like options from which to choose. The clubhouse is adequately appointed and the fees are reasonable. There is a pool and a workout room as well. This property is adjacent to state and national wild lands and one can see elk, eagles, deer and the occasional bear. A great community and one of the best kept secrets in Flagstaff. read more

I don't have much to say about the golf club itself, other than that it is a gorgeous property. My review is about the wedding/event planner for Flagstaff Ranch - Lauren. First of all, she was difficult to get in touch with. After finally getting in touch after nearly a month, we scheduled a facility tour for 9/26. She arrived to meet us on time, but that is where it began and ended for me. She walked in and looked around at my group in confusion. I could tell she didn't remember who she was meeting with, so I stepped forward and introduced myself. In any type of meeting, formal or informal, you should know the name of the individual you are meeting with. My fiance and I want to have a Christmas wedding in December 2015, which is why we decided on Flagstaff. Lauren first said she wasn't going to show me the outside ceremony site because it would be too cold during this time of year. We obviously knew this - why else would we choose a snowy location in December to have an outdoor ceremony? So after making me feel extremely uncomfortable and stupid, she showed us the outside site. It was beautiful, as was the clubhouse (where the reception would take place), but at that point, I had made up my mind. No matter how beautiful the site might have been, there was no way I wanted to deal with Lauren. Throughout the 10-minute (because that was about as long as I could stand) tour, she was very flighty, and walked far ahead of my group instead of along with us, making it impossible to hear her most of the time. She also addressed my sister, not me (the bride), nearly the entire time. During the few times she did address me, she spoke extremely fast (this coming from someone who also speaks fast) and almost mumbled, which was extremely frustrating because I had to keep asking her to repeat herself. I couldn't believe this was the person they had in charge of their event planning. Upon leaving, I had mixed emotions - I was so happy to leave this place, but I was also upset because I had driven up from Phoenix just for this meeting, which was a total waste of time. Lauren could have sent me the information (and even some photos) via email, and I would have gotten the same experience from my home. read more
