She communicated what she was doing throughout the process and the procedure was relatively painless. I'm writing this almost 24 hours later and I feel very little discomfort. This is the first morning I woken up to in a long time without throbbing from that tooth. My insurance company can be difficult to work with. Outside of the procedure I can say the office kept me informed of their efforts with the pre-authorization and even managed to get me in earlier than my scheduled appointment. I cannot say enough great things about the staff and the treatment I received.

I've had 4 root canals in the last four years, three from Dr. Menke and one from Dr. Arens at the Dublin and Westerville offices, and each time, I have left feeling truly cared for. Professionalism and expertise is top tier. Dr. Menke has done the last three root canals for me and makes it a point to check on his patients the next day personally to see how things are. When was the last time a medical professional did that in our world? Best guy ever! The first root canal I had was an emergency two days before Xmas in '22 during a blizzard. A two-hour drive turned into three, and my whole head throbbed with pain. Walking out into a field and lying down was definitely on the table. If you know, you know. Dr. Arens took one look at me and in one minute, the pain was gone. The endodontist in Chillicothe I had gone to first actually had numbed my mouth, then looked down and said, "No. I'm not doing it. Your mouth is too small. Just have it pulled." Yep. Zero stars. Do not recommend. Dr. Arens saved my tooth. Despite my frequent brushing and flossing, old fillings have broken or fallen out, requiring more dental work as I've gotten older. Despite the 2-hr drive, Central Ohio Endodonics will always be my first choice for future work. The office staff is also kind and professional - very empathetic - and thoughtful, extending the exemplary dental care to the finish line. I appreciate everyone there. Do yourself a favor and just go there.

I came to Kathy and Kevin (the Younkins) and from the first consultation, they put me at ease. They're soothing, gentle and really nice. I don't know what all their fancy equipment does but it seems super high tech. I don't know what other people go through, but the whole experience was a breeze. The only pain i felt was a little soreness for a couple days after which is no big deal if you take the ibuprofen they give you.

When I was finally out of the clutches of OSU student health, and looking for a dentist of my own I had a sneaking suspicion that I had approximately 75 cavities (at least). I went to the googles in search of someone able to handle my multiple dental issues. I saw that Dr. Baloy was the team dentist for the Columbus Blue Jackets, and looked no further. I figured if he could handle hockey mouths, I'd be no problem. From the very beginning, I felt welcome in the office. The staff is SO nice, and no one judged me for having at least one cavity in each quadrant of my mouth (sure they gently suggested perhaps I should learn to floss, but it's their job!). Dr. Baloy did a fantastic job tackling the cavities, and referring me to an endodontist AND a periodontist (I'm telling you, my oral hygiene is not that bad, it's genetics!) when needed. The office is set up to be very open and airy and there are lovely photographs to stare at while you're waiting for your gums to get numb. To summarize - Very nice, professional staff; great service; bright and clean office. It makes going to the dentist not that bad after all.

My sister reminded me of Westerville Dental so I gave them a ring and had a very similar experience. I was able to get scheduled that same week and the staff was incredibly friendly. He took X-rays and explained what he was seeing and the procedure after doing some testing on my teeth. I felt very at ease with him and his staff. I admittedly had been putting this off for about a year and felt relief I chose to see him after discussing options. After agreeing to the procedure he started the numbing and it was the best experience I've had with this. He took his time and did in two rounds. I barely felt anything. He worked well with his assistant and continuously checked on me during the root canal. He was doing all the work but encouraged me on how well I was doing. Elite called the morning after I had a really bad night with pain and they could see me in three days instead of the originally scheduled day. I would rarely describe getting a root canal as 'wonderful,' but the staff was as kind in person as they were on the phone. Dr. Lisa explained what she thought was going on with the tooth and the conservative approach she'd recommend. She completed the procedure right away. I hope to not need another root canal, but if I do, this practice would be my first choice. Affordability is important, but for me, professionalism and kindness are of utmost importance.
