Presentation: Pretty basic as you would expect from a food truck but the food part looks like proper fish and chips. 7 out of 10 Taste/Final Analysis: This was as fine of an example of fish and chips as I've ever had. The fish was flaky and delicious and didn't even require tartar sauce which is really saying something. The chips/fries were seasoned nicely and they had a bottle of a sweet/tangy type of sauce that was awesome and made me return for an extra squirt. If you are on food truck row and are feeling some good seafood come on over over like I did. You sure won't regret it. 10 out of 10

Given the menu options, despite all sounding delicious, I decided to be conservative and I went with a Jamaican Beef Patty, a Jamaican Chicken Patty, and a Chocolate Chip Mini-Rum Cake. They advertise that the Beef Patties are all handmade and authentic...which is what intrigued me. Looking at them, I can't be sure if they are handmade - as they had the appearance of a commercially produced product - but they sure were delicious! I preferred the beef to the chicken as it had more flavor overall with just the right amount of spice. They were out of Jerk Chicken Patties, so I didn't get to try that. To finish off the meal, their Mini-Rum Cake was a satisfying dessert...fresh and chocolaty! Next time I will have to try the Jerk Chicken or the Curry Goat platter. Then I will know if they really are a legit Jamaican spot! Oh...and I did have to wait a bit longer than usual for food. There seemed to be some confusion between when the order is taken and when it gets to the cook to prepare...so hoping it will smooth out in a few more days. If you have a few extra minutes, be sure to give them a try. NOTE: Second visit to the truck there was almost no wait at all...so they are streamlining a bit!

Minus one star for the ridiculous wait time. The jerk chicken was tender and seasoned with the perfect blend of Caribbean spices. The Kale, Cabbage, and Cranberry salad was fresh and tasty. I was not impressed with the beans and rice it was too bland but edible. My favorite was the rum cake it was moist and curbed my chocolate sweet tooth. It is worth a try if you are ever in the mood for some authentic Jamaican food. Please be warned that if you see more the five people in line expect to wait at least thirty minutes for your food, so plan your time accordingly.

I loved their crepe skin! it's a bit fluffier, thicker, and sweeter than French or Japanese version. In fact, a little closer to American pancake consistency. Meat version - overstuffed with delicious mixture of rice, ground meat, and veggie bits. Reminded me of the stuffed cabbage center in Eastern European cuisine! The spicy marinara sauce paired so well. Wished I ordered two of these! Chicken version - similar to (canned) chicken salad. It lacked the cheesiness and creaminess it advertised. The mushroom sauce did help but it was too runny. Flavor was fine but meat version was just 10x better. Borsch and kale salad - both were refreshing, tasty side options. Choose depending on your mood for the perfect pairing. Overall - meat blintzes all day every day (I do have a troubling obsession with everything crepes). Hope the truck makes another round back in my area soon.

Fajitas are cooked well, but involve little marinade or seasoning. On top of that they weren't that tender either. Guaca on the side is good, but far too little as is the pico. Biggest dud, the rice. Barely even properly cooked and hard. Still it did make a solid meal rice aside, but for the price I would have expected far better flavors. Good for in a pinch, but not for what they are charging by far.

The portion size was also generous for the price. I also ordered a jerk chicken egg roll, which was seasoned perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by the addition of broccoli inside--it worked really well. I also ordered the lamb chops with two sides: mac and cheese and broccoli. That meal was excellent as well--the lamb chops were cooked perfectly, and the sides were just as good.
