Such a cute poke and tea shop! You definitely get your money's worth of food, because they fill the bowl to the brim. The poke was delicious and had a great balance of flavors. Taro milk tea was smooth and not too sweet. Service was so fast and accommodating.

    Welcome to the jungle

To order you go to a machine and you can select whatever you want from there. They have a very extensive Kenny of options when it comes to drinks. Minimal staff interaction. The welcome to the jungle read good but tasted really weird, I couldn't identify anything going on with the drink and I ended up drinking only like 1/4 of the drink before throwing it out. It's a very tropical oriented drink, however the chunky pieces of the fruit offset the balance of everything already going on in the drink. I'd say get something more simple and have a more enjoyable drink. I'm not sure how this was a popular item or if it was just being promoted as a limited item.

Boba AND poke? I'm there! I love touch screen order kiosks for bowl places since it takes the pressure off the ordering process. I particularly loved it here since I got to build the perfect customized poke bowl! I could've done with a bit more protein but it was still a loaded bowl and all super fresh. They also have a pretty robust boba menu that you can also look through at the order kiosks. I went with a classic milk tea which was on the sweeter side, but with well cooked boba so it's a win for me.

Yum! Really enjoyed this poke bowl. I got the two scoops - spicy salmon and a mix of tuna and salmon. I really enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and the portion size was pretty solid.

Quick, healthy, DELICIOUS poke bowls. I ordered DA GRINDS, which comes with a good mix of Ahi poke, lomi salmon, spicy tuna, and ceviche. I really liked it You pick your toppings. I highly recommend the PICKLED SEAWEED, and the crispy FRIED GARLIC pieces...seriously! So good.

Good ingredients. Good sprinkles. Dreadfully over sauced. Had to stop eating the fish it was so salty. Cry. Get your sauces on the side!!

The expression goes "don't judge a book by its cover" but when it comes to poke bowls, I've always felt that you need to see the assembled product to understand what you're getting. The pictures paint this flavorful burst of colors, and the real thing does not disappoint. The k-pop bowl in particular looked and sounded delightful, personally being a big fan of Gochujang certainly helped a lot. Each bite had so much variety in flavor and texture, I was very happy! Having ordered this as delivery I cannot speak to the restaurant's ambiance or the quality of service except to say the bowl was heavily packed and the online pictures look great.

This restaurant has great reviews and I couldn't wait to try it after my morning walk. Although it started pouring, I still came to try a bowl. There were plenty of protein options and endless toppings. The employee was very helpful with all my questions and combination options. The had my favorite sauce, wasabi aioli, and she gave me extra. The restaurant was clean, service was quick and the prices were reasonable. I'd definitely be returning again.

Too much crab salad. Spicy Ahi, Lomi Salmon - 4 stars Overall good, sushi rice was nice if a bit hard. Spam Masubi - 3 stars Way, way, way too spicy!

Great poke place in the heart of DC! This is a hidden gem! Easy to order using kiosk, wait time is about 5 minutes or less. The food is rich and delicious. Usually, we take 1 bowl for ~20-25 for a couple of people. Enough space inside, the place is clean and nice! Defiantly recommended

A fresh food option served fast, it was delicious. The place wasn't too busy and the workers kept busy cleaning so, I'm sure the health score extends beyond the food. I got a pretty decent portion for a few extra bucks compared to a fast food combo meal. I'd take it any day.

They share a space with other businesses in a somewhat food hall/bar type of vibe. Some businesses from the original "the block" food hall have moved here like snocream. There are a lot of different plate, bowl, and combo variations to choose from. For my first time, it was very hard to choose but I opted with the seafood combo which has fried fish, fried shrimp, and a choice of meat. The flavor is amazing especially the bbq marinade on the beef. The batter used for the shrimp and fish tastes the same, a little bland, but light batter not overly greasy. I'm not sure what authentic hawaiian food is supposed to taste like to compare this but I think the seafood needs some kind of sauce. Portion size is great, one combo plate can be shared between two people but u might want to have your own as you're eating it. The take-out menu vs. dine-in menu are a little confusing, I'm not sure which has the better value and/or if theres any difference in portion size or what-not but we got the to-go combo and just ate in store. The dine-in menu I was told just gets plated instead of put in a box but i'm wondering if you get more/less meat in that sense because why are there two different menus? Overall this spot is pretty solid and a different kind of cuisine thats good to have around the area. I will likely come back and update my review as I try the other items on the menu and as they continue to renovate the space.

I got some trustee items, and I sort of wish I would've tried the Loco Moco because that would have truly told me whether or not I would be able to come back to this restaurant. As of now, I MIGHT stop by/order from here in a pinch BUT I wouldn't go out of my way. Let's begin. Location: it's located in Navy Yard. It's inside of Takorean. They make it easy to order online. It's giving Ghost Kitchen. Food: I ordered two spam musubis, two ahi bowls, and two bulgogi steak bowls: Spam Musubi: I think someone forgot an ingredient... Or two. The rice in these was extremely bland. Further, I'm typically used to there being some sort of sauce/glaze, usually tastes a little similar to teriyaki, between the spam and the rice. That was not the case here. Also, the spam was way saltier than normal. I love spam. It's one of my guilty obsessions, and I eat it about once a week. Yes, I know it's not good for you. However, I say that to say that I know how it typically taste. This was incredibly salty. I might have noticed it because that sauce that I previously mentioned was missing. Also, the rice was super bland. I don't think anybody put anything in the rice, including salt. Not that you need salt necessarily with a super salty piece of spam, but you get me. Ahi bowls: this tuna was so damn dry. DRYYYYYY. The flavor was good, but it was so incredibly dry. It was definitely overcooked and had nothing to do with it being delivered. In the bowl, there is salad, two scoops of rice, and a scoop of macaroni salad. The rice in the bowls was good. The salad was also pretty good. I really liked the dressing. However, the macaroni salad needed some help. I don't like Hawaiian macaroni salads that are overly seasoned, but this one was bland and had no seasoning at all. It tasted like someone over-boiled macaroni noodles, mixed some low budget, mayo in, and let the mayo set in overnight. It was definitely drier than I expected. Bulgogi bowls: Now, Kau Kau... if you're just selling Takorean's bulgogi, then say that. Because it tasted exactly the same... maybe slightly sweeter. Same comments as before re: sides. And again, it hurts me to say that about the Mac salad because I love macaroni salad. That has been one of my favorite food since I was a little girl. My dad's family lived in Hawaii and my Aunt is Hawaiian, so we ate Hawaiian food pretty regularly. Mac salad is my jawnnnnn. The salad was the best item and it's not supposed to be. This place just didn't do it for me this go round. I might be down to try the loco moco in the future but not sure.

Upon receiving, I saw that all the sauce was smothered in my bowl. I also got no utensils even though I requested some. At the end, I left half of the rice and mixed greens because it had way too much sauce which was incredibly overpowering. The quality of fish was fine, and I enjoyed it with the avocado. Meh.
