The prices are high! BUT when I tell you it's the best pedicure I've ever had, I mean it. I did not know the soles of my feet could be that soft again. And the meticulous care of my cuticles was so appreciated. Also, highly recommend their polish. I usually bring mine, but forgot it. Their polish has been spotless for three weeks and counting! Decor feels like a luxurious spa! Also, I really appreciate the English fluency of their nail artists. I am not trying to hate on anyone, at all!! But I've had services in other places where I didn't get what I asked for due to a language barrier. Never made a fuss about it. Beautiful clean salon! Beautiful nails that lasted me almost 4 weeks! This was my very first Russian manicure. Although my nails were beautiful I'm still not convinced on the whole process of cutting my cuticles and all the sanding they do to your fingers. This "manicure" cost me $150 after tip. 1 Star Review: Incredibly Disappointing & Unreliable I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Flamant. On two separate occasions, I scheduled appointments specifically for nail art and went through their full process--sending photos of my desired designs in advance to ensure they could be done. Both times, I was explicitly told by the salon that they could accommodate the request. However, once I arrived and sat through the service, the technician was completely unable to execute the look I asked for and be told that I had chosen a design that was AI generated, when other salons were able to accommodate the requested design. It is incredibly frustrating to pay premium prices--often over $100 before tip for hard gel--at a place that prides itself on "luxury artistry" but fails to deliver on basic communication and skill matching. Between the "crazy" booking process, the high cost, and the constant need to replan my schedule for subpar results, this salon is simply not worth the time or money. I won't be returning, nor will I be sending any of my clients here ever again. If you're looking for consistent, high-quality nail art, look elsewhere. read more

Yesterday was my first time at Flamant, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there with Sabina. My friend has been coming here for a while now, and she spoke really highly of this place and her nail tech. I decided to give a try since I've been wanting a place that specializes in Russian pedicures with comfortable seating. The pedicure setup here is very comfortable and relaxing, I also love the hospitality here -- there's candy, water with real lemon slices, coffee, etc. They make it easy to book an appointment online, and they're ready for you at the said time. I love that they take their time and produce quality work. You can also pay with Zelle, Venmo or Cash App which is really convenient. I tried the Smart spa pedicure with no chip polish. I've gotten the smart pedicures in the past at Best Nails but never the spa aspect, where it's a combination or dry and wet. Sabina is really friendly, sweet, and great at what she does. I'm looking forward to coming back again for future services. I'd recommend Flamant to anyone in the area looking for quality manicures and pedicures. read more

I went to Flamant Nails four times before the final time today. They filled my nails down to them bleeding. I told the nail tech multiple times she was causing me pain and she never spoke or responded until my nail started bleeding. At that point, she called her manager over who said it was my fault I was bleeding. Which in some regards is true. I did not get a color in my nails to avoid further cost as I have to go to another salon and am on the verge of tears. I attached a photo of my nails with no color, you can see how far the nail tech-filled them down as they are red. I came in town for Thanksgiving weekend to visit family and last minute decided to get my nails done. The place has a weird vibe. The colors don't really match, there's paying, but then you go in the bathroom and there's palm trees for wallpaper... My appointment was with Sabrina and she was very impatient with me. When I was looking at the nail color, she would say "come on come on hurry up" and then when I picked one, she rolled her eyes. I just felt like an inconvenience to her. She did OK, but I had to ask her to touch up on a few spots that she missed on the side of the nails. I got the hard gel X, and unfortunately, they ended up chipping. They don't accept cash and they require up charge if you use credit card. When I was leaving, I felt very stressed out and not relaxed at all. I absolutely love love Flamant Nail Boutique. I've known Alla the owner for many years now and there is no one better in the industry. Alla has trained few amazing nail technician and they all do such a wonderful job. My nails were used to super short and brittle and now people can't believe they are all mine they are so long and healthy looking:) I get hard gel mani every 3 weeks and no chip pedi every 5 weeks. I love how detail oriented the girls are and how they always want to make sure you are happy with the results. The nail salon is super cute, cozy and very clean. I really wanted to like this place, but they charge an arm and a leg for simple nail polish. It doesn't make sense one their booking system. I understand charging more for an experienced nail technician to a beginner, I can understand charging more for extensions, I understand different prices for polish like no-chip, chrome, cat eye, ombré and hard gel, but it doesn't make sense to charge more for a small, medium, or large nails... especially when there is no clear explanation in measurement for nail size. They just decide what is the size of nail. My nail person was polite, but didn't speak English so it was a challenge to constantly ask for their manager to come over and translate. read more

I have been going to Alla for years. Never in my life have my nails been healthier. The prices are a bit more than regular places, and that's because her manicures and pedicures are THAT special. The last manicure I got from her lasted 5 weeks and she had to take them off. They never lifted. She uses incredible products that until going to her I never had even seen before. A lot of Russian products everything so good for your nails. I will never EVER get a manicure or pedicure anywhere else. Everyone who works here does an amazing job too. You'll never be able to go anywhere else again that's for sure! Besides the gorgeous salon, I keep coming back because i've never see this level of nail care in all my life. The best nail salon in the city - clean, safe and outstanding service. The gel manicure lasts forever (during COVID I still had it on after 10 weeks! Half of the nail grew out of course, but what was left of the manicure was intact!) The only negative thing I have to say about Flamant, is they made it so I don't want to go anywhere else in Chicago to get my nails done. They are always on time. I have NEVER in my life had long beautiful nails. I always ran to the closest nail salon to get a manicure and It would never last longer then a week. I'm a hairstylist and my hands are always in water. But then I heard about Flamant nail salon. I have beautiful long nails with fashion designs sometime on them. They are so strong I think my finger will brake b4 my actually nail would. When she takes the "hard chip" off, my nails are healthy, long, and strong without the product on them. I have been to this nail place four times so far and here is my honest review. There are pros and cons to this place- the nail salon itself is beautiful and makes you feel pampered. The manicures and pedicures last a long time (at least one month!!) and I've never had my mani chip. However, I find the staff lacks warmth. It could be cultural differences/a language barrier for some- but you're paying a pretty penny when you go there, and there is a certain level of "bedside manner" I find to be lacking. I have tried making conversation with the person who has most often done my nails, some manicures it worked, others it didn't. One time she spent my whole manicure talking to the customer sitting next to me in a different language which I found to be quite rude. And frankly, I find that their design skill is just simply not at the level of @astrowifey or @Spifster, yet they are charging prices as if all the manicurists design skill is on par with those other artists. So it all depends on what you're looking for. It's a great splurge mani/pedi place and if you need something to last a while, go for it!! I think they are too pricey and not skilled in design enough yet to make it a regular mani spot. And I have experienced rude service once when I decided to take my manicure off. I informed them I'd only be getting a pedicure, and that seemed to be an issue for some reason... my manicurist was cold to me when I showed up, and had rushed through my pedicure. I arrived and someone else had already started their pedicure next to me, and yet my nail artist had finished my pedi (and took off my gel mani) before the other woman finished her pedicure.. and then the pedi chipped a couple days later due to her rushing- wish I had not tipped that day, oh well.
