My technician was such a fastidious person and he was attentive to details and it was so relaxing. I have actually liked the way they dealt with me during the process they are clearly aware of their craft and they are very keen with regard to the needs of their clients. I did not experience any form of pressure or discomfort at any time. The atmosphere of the salon is very relaxed and it makes spending time there very easy. I got out a satisfied person about my nails and the whole experience was excellent. I will definitely be coming back! This is what you want to call the type of place that you can guarantee of receiving excellent service and you can feel like you are in good hands. Without reservation, highly recommend!

They are funny, kind and do a great job. One of my nails was broken, but to fix it would have required cutting my nail super super short...before my wedding. It wasn't an issue to them. They put some tape on it, glued it, and painted over it...and you can't even tell. My nail is perfect. Thank you for such a great job! $40 for regular mani + pedi. $55 for gel.

Don't come here unless you plan to spend $100+ for a basic manicure that's a drastically different color than you chose.

Lazy with service, glue on hands after your hands soak in acetone. You have to ask them to help you get it off by actually giving you a wipe to remove it from your hands. I had service one time from chair 1, she left glue on my hands and didn't even ask me if I wanted lotion. Rude. So I wouldn't go to her. I do feel it's a bit fake in there and about the money. Hi. I have been reading over the reviews written about Lakeview Nails and one review totally angered me before I had to laugh. First of all, this person (SS) obviously has mistaken Lakeview Nails for a completely different salon. One. There is no Corrin or anyone with a similar sounding name. And two, there is absolutely not a male manager. You have done Lakeview Nails a huge disservice by misrepresenting this wonderful business. I have been a customer for many many years and these women at Lakeview Nails go above and BEYOND to not only make their customers feel welcome and cared about, but they only want to help everyone who walks in. NO ONE would have raised their voice to another customer, another person. NO ONE!!! You will have magnificent nails if you go to Lakeview Nails. You'll feel cared about and pampered. Great nails and GREAT price! I was looking for a reasonable place and last minute appointment to get nails done with a friend. Called Lakeview Nails and the lady said no problem to come on in! As soon as we walked in she was expecting us, told us to grab our color and have a seat. My hands were freezing from walking outside so she put the heater right next to me and gave me a little massage to warm me up! For full set of nails it was only $25 (I still like acrylic)! Parking was easy to find right out front for both of our cars, service was fast, nail techs were friendly, and my nails look fabulous!! Definitely will be returning!! read more

This is the THE best nail salon in Chicago. I moved to the city 4 years ago and this is the only place I will ever go to get my nails done. I've gone other places and you can't beat the quality and price of this place. Their staff is kind and friendly and always want you leaving happy. I have been going to this place for 5 years, have tried other nail salons in the city and Lakeview Nails by far offers the best nail services. Their quality of service is excellent, my nails always turn out amazing and the staff takes care of you. They are so detailed and always make sure you are happy with the turnout. I don't expect anyone to talk to me the whole time during a service; the problem is her communication. She was very curt in her responses, so much so that I asked multiple times if I had done something wrong or if I had made her upset. She seemed very annoyed with me for the entirety of my appointment. At the end, I paid (and tipped) and asked if there was something I did that might have been incorrect. I asked if it's normal for people to ask questions throughout their service, and she responded that I didn't do anything and she was fine. I was looking forward to revisiting because I'm trying to have more fun nails this summer, but it was an extremely disappointing experience. Again, I think Anh's work is beautiful. However, her attitude spoiled the interaction. I would not recommend.
