They were able to squeeze me in today after I pinched something wicked in my neck, but I don't think I realized how tense the rest of me was in general. Then I I noticed that on the bed was all but a small towel that was to be used to cover myself while the massage was going on. Did I mention it was also dirty and stained? The masseuse comes in and just starts the session. He does a lot of pressing while the dry towel is on me but no actual massaging. Eventually, he draws back the towel, adds an excessive amount of oil and hardly massages. It honestly felt more like a back rub. I could go on, but ultimately it was a terrible waste of $70 ($60 + $10 tip) and 60 minutes. All it gave me were additional knots and funny stories to share with my boyfriend who was in the next room having a similar experience.

It is used for chronic aches and pain and sore, contracted areas such as a stiff neck (my arthritis stop) and upper back, Low back muscle tightness and aching shoulders. After 40 minutes deep tissue massage they give the hot stone massage for about 10 minutes. During a Hot Stone Massage, heated stones are used to massage and relieve tension. This therapy helped me relax and feel it refreshed my body. Sometimes, I ask for deep tissue massage and Gua Sha. For me once a while after massage, Gua Sha helps me even better and quicker to relieve my muscle tension and pain. This technique effectively breaks up my muscle knots, reduces soreness, and alleviates pain in areas like the neck, shoulders, and back. The scraping motion stimulates blood flow and aids in removing metabolic waste and stagnant fluids, which reduces swelling (when my arthritis been triggered). COCO
