I chose this place on the recommendation of a family member. They had not been here but, had wanted to get some seafood boils. I decided to give it a shot. I'm not a pick-through-your-food kinda guy. But, all my family loves the whole experience. It was a Tuesday. It was very slow when we arrived - around 5:30-ish. Everyone was friendly. Mechanical - which is not a good thing. This is what happened... The place is visually appealing. The decor is apropos. The bathrooms are clean. There's plenty of parking. Tables at booths are free-standing so they move back and forth for comfort. This is a plus for comfort. They have a Full bar. My mother enjoyed her cocktail - Peach Sangria Lobster Bisque was the consistency of coagulated milk. A pink-ish pudding with a slight lobster-y taste but had no actual sign of any lobster chunks or pieces anywhere to be seen. Truth be told it was priced for what it was. It just wasn't very good. The garlic bread - Toasted bread that looks torn not sliced then drenched in their version of garlic butter was truly very tasty. It is pretty damned good! Truly. I ordered a large order of raw oysters. They were perfect in size. The plating was as expected and it was served with horseradish and cocktail sauce. I love the briny taste of raw clams, oysters, etc. For whatever reason these lacked it. But, I would order these again. I would ask that they not rinse the oysters before presenting them or rinse them in a salty briny solution to save their natural taste. I would get them again - if I were to return. Mom got a boil that consisted of King Crab Legs, Snow Crab Legs and Shrimp. The broth was tasty. But, the seafood lacked the flavor. Not sure how that happened except to say the seafood might've been cooked separately then added before the dish left the kitchen. I have prepped boils and never experienced that. One thing that bothered me - and it happens in many restaurants because servers don't understand that the WHOLE experience is important not just placing an order and collecting the check and tip. As a server you are to TIME the courses so the guests don't feel rushed or ignored. It really does annoy me. And the tip suffers. We were in the middle of the appetizers and she brought out the boil. I told the server to take the food back until we asked. They didn't keeping warm. It came out colder than it should have. The tip suffered. She still got a 20% tip. Yeah - I'm a good tipper if the experience calls for it. The "extra $" sauce I ordered wasn't as good. The meal came with a few red potatoes and a small cob of corn. I added broccoli which was great!! And it cost more. It was Tender and garlicky. We usually get some desserts to go - but, we decided to skip it. Anyway. This was MY experience. Terrible experience. The manager was extremely rude and disrespectful -- no professionalism or basic courtesy at all. I honestly felt humiliated by the way I was spoken to and treated. I had ordered food to go, and the manager took it away from my table, brought it to the front, then brought it back again. After that, I didn't even want to eat it anymore because I no longer felt safe or comfortable. The way I was yelled at and disrespected in front of others was completely unacceptable. It truly felt like there was a racial undertone to how I was treated -- and that's something no one should ever have to experience. I spent $400 and I was about to leave $50 tips. I paid for my meal and left, but I will never return. No customer deserves to be talked down to or made to feel less than because of their race. read more

It finally arrived and Ish did his thing with the flaming crab (don't if you can see it in pic), cool! My Wife said her shrimp were good. My weekend special shrimp were also good (maybe a little too oily), the lobster tail was good, the crab legs..... shell was soft, hard to snap open, and mushy! It's unfortunate, because the food was great and the server was nice. But the end was atrocious. It began with the server asking me to scan the QR code and write a review. Weird, but I thought he was just trying to look good for the job. No problem. After my wife gave both him and the restaurant a 5 star review, we were both walking out and I gave the signed checkbook to the man at the register (who I assume was either one of the owners or manager. "You write review!?!?!" "Uhh, yeah, we wrote one for the server and the restaurant." It was obvious they were desperate. "You write phone number?" It was at this point I got angry. "I don't want to give you my phone number." "Uhh, uhh...you leave review?" It came off as desperate and I was pissed. He gave me a second copy of my receipt and I angrily left with my wife. That piece of shit turned an otherwise decent afternoon with my wife into a creepy outing. My wife and I left feeling angry, disgusted, and upset. If you're desperate for customers, harassing customers who decided to come out is not how you get business. I hope the entire place goes out of business. And I hope my wife and I get a fucking apology after that nonsense. read more
