As advertised Chef arrived on time and brought everything needed, prepared the meal as we watched and carried on a great conversation. We were given detailed explanations of all the ingredients. Shaun shared his culinary education and past positions with us as well. Communication throughout the process was great, the venue was clean and well-maintained, and the food was excellent. We booked almost a year in advance, and up until the wedding day, everything seemed to be running smoothly. Unfortunately, we ran into a major issue the night of our wedding. When it came time for our first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance, the speakers were not working. As many couples know, not everything goes perfectly on a wedding day, and we tried to remain calm and work through the situation. We informed staff, and while they did make some effort to help, we were ultimately left scrambling to solve the problem ourselves. My father-in-law actually had to leave and purchase a speaker so that we could have music for these important moments. We were told that staff also attempted to obtain a speaker, but the one they brought back did not work. In the end, the only reason we had music for our dances was because of the speaker my father-in-law provided. After the wedding, I reached out to discuss the situation and see if there was any type of accommodation or goodwill gesture that could be offered given the circumstances. This venue was a significant investment for us, and in addition to the venue costs, we left generous tips for the staff and bartender and hosted an open bar for our guests. I wasn't looking for anything unreasonable--just some acknowledgment that an important part of our wedding reception did not go as planned. What disappointed me most was the response I received. I was told that it was our responsibility to test the sound system beforehand and that staff had already attempted to help by getting a speaker. While I understand their position, the response felt dismissive and lacked empathy for the stress this caused on our wedding day. A little understanding or a gesture of goodwill would have gone a long way. The venue itself is beautiful, the food is wonderful, and much of the planning process was positive. However, because of the sound system issue and the way the concern was handled afterward, I cannot give a higher rating.

I'm not sure that's this businesses fault 100%. We didn't know who our officiant was or what the vows were until 5 minutes before I (the bride) left the car to walk down the aisle. We asked weeks prior to speak to the officiant about it. Found out later, the officiant didn't even know our names until my now husband was standing under the arch. That part alone was the most stressful for me. Outside of that, even with very little communication about our wedding, everything in the surveys they sent us to fill out months before was followed to a T by Olga and her team.

His energectic personality was infectious. I found him to be very in tune with the atmosphere of the event all evening. He made necessary announcements when needed, in a dignified and professional manner. He played elegant, soft music while we ate dinner, and took requests all evening long. He was engaged with the guests and family all evening. By the time we had finished dinner, Shawn then turned it up a notch and had everyone in the room on the dance floor. Everyone was laughing, dancing, and enjoying themselves, which is exactly what we wanted. Even the grandparents were on the floor. So much of the mood at a wedding reception is reliant on the music and A DJ Connection, and Shawn were exceptional. I cannot recommend A DJ connection highly enough. They knew so much more about planning this type of event than I did and went so far above and beyond what was expected to make this a beautiful and memorable experience.
