We had booked a stay at Flanigan's in May 2026 with the intention to hike Angel's Landing and the Narrows. Leading up to our stay, Flanigan's sent me a ton of e-mails trying to upsell us on spa treatments, restaurant reservations, etc. On the flip side, I asked them multiple times if we would be able to leave our car parked at the hotel while we did one overnight on the Narrows and never got a response. This is an ongoing theme with these guys - their number one concern is cash and what they can get out of their guests, not the guests themselves. Two days before my stay, I got a "pre-registration" e-mail. This one included requests for things like credit card for the deposit, check in time, etc. This form I actually filled out and returned to Flanigan's. The next day (the day before I was meant to stay at Flanigan's) I got a phone call from them which I ignored. I subsequently got an e-mail from them saying that "per my request, my reservation was cancelled". Needless to say, I had NOT asked to cancel my reservation. I immediately responded and was told that the credit card I had given was declined and it is Flanigan's policy to cancel reservations in that case. Here's the kicker, though, they had charged the credit card I had used when I booked the reservation, NOT the one that I had given them in their stupid "pre-registration" e-mail. They hadn't even looked at that. They tried the credit card from the time of booking, gave me one phone call while I was at work, and then just cancelled the reservation. The day before we were supposed to go. The genius behind this effort was Garn Henderson. Garn would not accept anything but me calling them to update the card. They wouldn't even bother to charge the card that I had given them on the pre-registration form. When Garn proved completely useless, I was forwarded to resort manager Cade Campbell who proved to be the single worst resort professional I have ever met. Cade refused to apologize and, again, charge the card that I had given them and told me that Flanigan's has to resort to this policy because they're holding so many "high value rooms". A minute-long search on Trivago showed that this was a straight-up lie and that Flanigan's had all kinds of rooms available. They're just too lazy, rude, and unhelpful to bother to do the right thing. It got so bad that I told Cade to just go ahead and keep our reservation cancelled. The story has a happy ending as we found a great room at the Springhill Suites which was $200 cheaper and had staff that was wonderful and helpful. After we got to Springdale, we actually saw Flanigan's and it was clear that this place just bills itself as a "resort" so that it can charge a markedly higher price. It's indistinguishable from the Springhill Suites or the Best Western Plus. Just stay at one of those places and avoid this dump. read more

From the room size to the spa services, everything about this resort exceeded my expectations. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the entrance to Zion National Park, with plenty of food options nearby. They even offer a 10% discount if you dine at the restaurant next door, which we thought was pretty good. The resort has tons of amenities, including a hot tub open until 10 pm and a labyrinth hiking trail just up the road (which we unfortunately didn't have time to explore). The front desk staff and housekeepers were all incredibly kind, which really added to the overall experience. The spa was a highlight for me. My esthetician, Mandy, took amazing care of me during my one-hour facial, and I left feeling completely refreshed. She even gave me a hand and foot massage while the mask set, and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep because I was so zenned out. I also loved the products they make, use, and sell. The in-room shampoo, conditioner, and body wash had a Juniper Sage fragrance that I really enjoyed. They're in large reusable bottles, which I personally didn't mind since it's more eco-friendly, but something to note if that's not your preference. We booked a standard room and were genuinely surprised by how spacious it was. Not sure if we got lucky, but the room was huge, had two entrances, and a balcony overlooking a cute fountain. We also scored a great deal, stay two nights, get one free, between Christmas and New Year's. The resort has a quaint, lodge-style charm. The rooms are simple and slightly dated, but since we barely spent time inside, it didn't bother us at all. During winter especially, we were just happy that the heater and hot water worked perfectly. The facial was about $140, which felt very reasonable for a resort spa. I would absolutely love to stay here again, and would happily request Room 114 if I could! read more

Perfect location to stay when visiting Zion National Park, it is super close to the entrance of the park. The room was very clean. We got the Desert King Balcony room so we had a nice view of the pool, hot tub, and beautiful landscape. Definitely recommend this room if you go! Service was phenomenal everyone was so kind and helpful. They have a spa as well that provides many services as well. They have a restaurant right next door called The Spotted Dog Restaurant and Bar which is super convenient for breakfast or after a long day at the park to head to the dinner dining area. I wanted to update my review. I updated my star review from a 1 to a 3 because the owner of the hotel reached out to me personally and was super apologetic for what happened to us. He said that his staff did not handle the situation properly and his staff has been instructed how to handle situations like mine in a better way. He issued us a refund for the night his staff required us to stay. I feel he made the best out of a bad situation. I would suggest to call ahead to make sure the room you booked isn't near the construction area. read more

Friendly staff, lovely accommodations, great location! This was our first time staying at this property; it won't be our last. They have a small spa plus a restaurant. While we didn't have time to indulge at the spa we did have a nice dinner at the restaurant. We had a lower level room on the end near the pool. Thankfully, they have parking above and on the side/low side, so you don't need to do stairs if you park in the appropriate spot. Meaning if you have a room starting with a "2", park up high. If not, park down low. Haha Quiet, beautiful, Zen-like. You can sit outside and just breathe. Their property is very park-like... Green and Lush. Very well taken care of. They even have a meditation trail! The Springdale tram / shuttle stops right out front if you don't feel like walking. The entrance to Zion is less than a mile away so it is very walkable if you want. If you're going to Zion, I would suggest staying at Flanigans. Really nice place. Our room is really nice, beds are nice, shower is nice good tv w working direct tv channels. Cant complain at all. Staff is super nice, everyone is great A+ . It look very old school cabins, but its very modern and the amenities are great. One of the big factors for us was they restaurant attached to the hotel. Parking if free and lots of spots. It's located near the park entrance, a 10 minute walk from the hotel. This place is great, ill stay here again for sure next time we come to Zion. read more

Lovely resort. The staff were super helpful. Location, walking distance to Zion, was great. Dinner at the restaurant is a must. There aren't many other choices. The balcony in our room was so peaceful. A few changes: the AC in our room didn't do the job the fan was loud and ran non stop because the room couldn't hold temperature; the direct tv remote didn't seem to do anything but turn on the tv, we could not actually get direct tv; the in room poor over coffee service resulted in ripped bags and cups full of grounds. The electric kettle did work well for tea and there is coffee service in the lobby at 6 am. read more

Flanigan's Inn is a beautiful property and you can just walk to the entrance to Zion National park. This is the closest property to the entrance and the view is phenomenal. There is a free city shuttle that stops right outside the Inn. The check-in process was quick and the staff were friendly. They gave us advise to login at sharp 5 pm for getting the Zion shuttle tickets for the park. The room was comfortable and spacious with great amenities. the beds were comfortable. There was a sofa that can be turned in to bed and surprisingly that was comfortable too. The bathroom had lovely toiletries, robe and soft towels. The coffee was great too. There were reusable water bottles which was a nice touch. The grounds are beautiful. there is a nice trail up the hill which leads to zen maze/ 'the labyrinth' with amazing views.There is a laundry onsite but we did not use it. the hot tub and pool were amazing. the kiddo had a great time in the pool. The hot tub was tad bit hot for the kiddo. There is even a charging station for EVs. We did not go to the onsite restaurant (spotted dog cafe) but it seemed pretty popular and busy. The rooms were pricey but the small touches made it worth it. read more

Flanigan's is a great choice for anyone visiting Zion National Park. Read on: It's very nice, well kept property with terrific views of the scenery you came to Zion to see. within walking distance to the entrance to the park. It's within close proximity (easy walking distance) to many of the restaurants and shops located on the main drag (Zion Canyon Boulevard), but not all. The others are a very short car drive away. The rooms are average size but well appointed and quite pleasant. Nice bed, nice linens, etc. There is a very good on-site restaurant, the Spotted Dog, I will review separately. The flat screen TV was a bit on the small size by today's standards, but TV is not why you come here, so no biggie. Having said that, we did enjoy binge watching The Office a few evenings thanks to the many choices via Direct TV satellite TV in our room. The free wifi was solid. There is a nice pool on the property, but we didn't avail ourselves of it. There is no on-site sundry store or vending machines for that matter, but no worries. A short half a block up the street is Hoodoos Market that has just about everything you might every need during your stay. Parking in the guest only parking areas was a breeze, and it's easy to park relatively close to your room which is nice when comes time to unload and load your traveling gear. Cheers! read more

Excellent value for the price! We loved our stay at Flanigan's Inn and found all the staff we interacted with extremely friendly and helpful. This location is also perfect for visiting Zion -- skip the Springdale shuttle line and do a quick walk up the street (seriously about 8 minutes or less of walking) to get to the visitor's entrance. Even after hiking 10 miles for the Narrows, the walk back to Flanigan's Inn was not bad at all. The location is also ideal for exploring local Springdale and just soaking in the beautiful scenery. Rooms were fairly basic, a little older but very clean. We had a basic 2-queen room, which does not include a fridge. We did love that they had the A/C running when we checked in, as it was very hot in Springdale! Even located on the ground floor and right next to the on-site restaurant, we didn't experience any disruptive noise and the room still felt very private. The little hike up to the labyrinth is such a nice touch! We went up there to watch the sunset and while other guests were there as well, there's plenty of room to share the space. The view up there is great, and we loved seeing little lizards and wildlife poking around the well-kept grounds. The on-site restaurant The Spotted Dog Cafe is nice to grab a meal as well. Wifi was dependable and fast; while the TV is not the biggest, it was fine for late-night relaxing in our room. Definitely recommend this hotel if you're visiting Springdale! read more

The best thing about this hotel is the location (walking distance from Zion park), which is why I understand the high cost of staying here, but the quality of the rooms was disappointing. The rooms are outdated and are what you would expect to find at a motel. If you get a room on the ground floor, you will be able to hear the guests walking above you since the walls are the thin. The hotel restaurant is great, but you have to make a reservation at least a day in advance even if you are staying at the hotel. The parking lot gets packed with restaurant guests, so you might have to park far from your room. If you decide to stay here, try to get a room with a good view (see the pics to see our view, it wasn't the best). Also, there is a 48 hour cancellation policy, so if you're going to cancel or end your stay early, make sure you do it two days in advance! By no means is this a terrible place to stay, it's just not worth $400. read more

Long story long: Avoid this place at all cost!! My wife and I were on an anniversary weekend trip. We had book 2 nights at a premium price. The first night there my portable cpap machine stopped working and we were both unable to sleep that night. Unfortunately we had booked massages at the spa for the next day prior to this even. We decided that we couldn't stay the next night and we needed to cancel the second nights stay and cancel the massage sessions. The front desk girls were very matter of fact that they couldn't cancel anything and that we would be charged for the second night and also for the massages which were around $150 each. We had no choice but to leave and we're given the managers name to contact on Monday, which we did. She echoed what she had trained her staff to say and would not cancel our spa appointments because "those people depend on those appointments for income". Well, I had no idea that people depend on jobs for income!!! Anyway, our room was super tiny. The bathrooms were typical of most 1 star hotels. Windows had lost their seals and were cloudy. Location was great!!! The restaurant was above average and the service there was really good. As long as you just need a place to sleep for the night with no frills... then go for it. 3 star hotel? Not even close. Very poor customer service and would never stay here again! read more

Second time staying at Flanigan's Inn and I am convinced that it's the best place to stay in Springdale when going to Zion National Park. It's location can't be beat... a 10 min walk to the Visitor Center entrance, and located right next door to the Zion Adventure Company. We've stayed in the Gary Adams suite both times and think that it is an excellent value for the money. Rather than booking two rooms, you can book this suite and you get a bedroom and a loft. The downside is you have to share one bathroom, but there is also a sink/bar area that can be used outside the bathroom. The room also has a large living room area as well and an outdoor patio seating area. Guests of the hotel also get to eat at the cafe for breakfast at a reduced rate of $5 per person (does not include drinks). The food was good and a great value for the money. I'm confident that the next time I come to Zion, I'll be staying at Flanigan's Inn. read more

There was bugs in the shower when we got there. No fridge??? That didn't make any sense to me. The pool and hot tub where perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. My wife and her friend went it to the spa and said it was a nice experience. We all had dinner at the restaurant and loved it. For this trip to Zion I splurged with two nights at Flanigan's rather than commuting from a less expensive place in St. George. It was worth it. We got one of the less expensive rooms but it was fine. Room was clean and functional. The comforter on the bed was too heavy so we used a provided lighter blanket. After doing The Narrows one day we laid by the pool. The pool water was refreshingly cool even though the weather was pretty hot. The hot tub was hot, which is not always the same everywhere. While at the pool a big deer stopped by to munch on the bushes. Very relaxing with great views. We ate at Spotted Dog one night. They were very good at accommodating our change in reservation time. Food was good and service was good as well considering they had to walk quite a bit to serve guests sitting at tables on the lawn due to social distancing. There was a general store right next door for whatever you might need with an ice cream station And finally, in part we picked Flanigan's because they had destination chargers for electric vehicles. The second time I went to use one a regular vehicle was parked in the spot. I went to office where they explained someone had tried parking in it earlier so They put one of THEIR vehicles in the spot to be sure it was available for me. Nice! read more

Had an incredible getaway from Los Angeles to Utah, this place was a big part of it. It's a nice escape from the city, the views are spectacular. Its quiet & secluded. Small surprises like the labyrinth, deer casually approaching the premises, and the short walk to the Spotted Dog were all perks. Not to mention that Zion National park is only 10-15 min via foot. There are restaurants nearby, a pub, and a coffee shop. Parking is ample. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is courteous. Everything was perfect. I was lucky to have been able to book a room for 3 nights, just a week in advance prior to my trip. read more

Nice room. But be prepared to have no where to park when you come back from your day trip. We came back to the parking lot packed because of the restaurant that is connected to them. After driving around the whole parking lot looking for a place to park and not having success. I went into the front office and basically said I am paying $240 a night and I have no where to park. They apologized and said its because of the restaurant and told me the restaurant will be closed in 2 hours. I said we want to go back to our room now, not in 2 hours. Just as our conversation ended a spot just happened to open up. The parking spot was by the office. Our room is behind the restaurant so if anything happens to it we won't know until in the morning. My brother and I set out to hike the Narrows as a brother-sister bonding trip after a very tough couple years. This was a trip to help reset our family and heal. After a very long hike (11 hours, 13 miles, 29K steps), we decided to treat ourselves to a relaxing massage the next day. We could barely even walk, and we made our way into the spa for a one-hour massage. Needless to say, the massage was a beautiful part of the trip I didn't expect. I shared a little about my story with David, my masseuse, and he was so gracious and kind. He listened and the massage was calm and relaxing. It truly made the last day of our trip memorable. Thank you to David for everything and for making the massage a truly healing, relaxing, and calming experience I did not expect. Stayed here in early November and had a nice stay. The room was nice and clean. Service was good. The only that was odd was when we checked in they told us when breakfast was and then the next morning a different person told us they didn't have breakfast and only did it in the busy season so that was a bummer. We stayed at Flanigan's on Christmas Eve. We arrived around 5:30 after a full day of hiking in Zion to find that there were only 2 restaurants open in the entire town. This was a bit discouraging to us, but we were able to get to the grocery store and the desk attendants were so helpful with getting us utensils and finding a place to sit and warm up our meal. It was perfect. The warm spa was just and added bonus for our weary bodies! And the bedding was super comfy. Overall, it was worth our stay! read more

I loved this quaint Inn. We arrived after hours and they had our key waiting at the reception door (literally). Talk about trust! We got to our room and they had already turned on the heat so our room was cozy. We had a nice welcome treat and handwritten note welcoming us. The room was very comfortable and inviting. Absolute delight to stay here for 2 nights in July. Welcome packet ready for us on checkin. The room and pool, which we used on both days, were clean and well maintained. The pool was quiet and let us cool off after long day of hiking around Zion in the 100 degree weather. Tesla destination charging was a plus and allowed us to get fully charged before heading back home. Enjoyed the small walk to the labyrinth with nice views of the lower parts of the canyon. Highly recommend as it's literally 5min walk to the visitor center to take shuttles up the canyon. Looking forward to stay there again. read more
