As a result, they did not clean the first level of our home, because they wanted to charge extra for a "basement." A basement is underground -- ours is not. Not only did they completely skip one full level of the home, they still charged us for the total square footage of the entire house AND tried to overcharge us for extra services we clearly stated we did NOT want. This was a deeply disappointing experience from start to finish, and they have absolutely lost us as customers.

Unfortunately, my second experience was the complete opposite. The appointment started with confusion regarding the arrival and the scope of the cleaning. Shortly after starting, the cleaner informed me that her vacuum was not working and asked to use my personal vacuum cleaner instead. Despite spending nearly two hours in the apartment, the quality of the cleaning was extremely disappointing. Windows were not cleaned, mirrors were left streaky, dust and debris remained, visible spots were still present on the floors, and none of the trash bins--including the bathroom trash bin--were emptied. Overall, it appeared that only the most visible surfaces had been wiped down. To make matters worse, I was later contacted about an additional pet fee because the cleaner reported that I have a dog. No dog was present during the cleaning. My dog has been staying elsewhere, so the only indication that I own a dog would have been a dog crate and water bowl in the apartment. When I contacted customer service, I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously. Rather than trying to understand the quality concerns, the response focused on explaining why the experience occurred and what I should have done differently. My first experience was genuinely excellent, which makes this even more disappointing. Based on the quality of the cleaning and, most importantly, the way the concerns were handled by the company afterward, I will not be using this company again.

The 3 ladies were scheduled for 8am and arrived at 745. They entered via my lockbox while I was at work. It took them about 3 hours to complete the job. When I arrived home from work I was beyond impressed with the work they did. My house was immaculate which says a lot being that I am a pet owner and a petsitter. They addressed all my requests and my house felt amazing. The price is a bit on the higher end but you pay for what get. Theybdid provide me with a discount code for being a first time customer. I had a great experience with Liberty Maids and would definitely use them again in the future.
