I am very puzzled to see such high stars here. I am thinking that the ladies probably wrote the reviews by themselves. They came to clean our 5 bedroom home, and after 3 hours i found them ready to leave (coats on) in such rush. They gave me no time to check upstairs , and since I'm an honest human, I gave them the check. Silly me. When I went upstairs and checked, I found that they had just removed some hair from the bathroom shelves to give me the impression that they cleaned. Shelves , bathroom closets and windows were not cleaned at all. There was still dust and dirt. Basically , they cleaned two floors on three, and we will now have to do all the work upstairs by ourselves. I think they had another appointment and just left like that. Kitchen : all the upper shelves are DIRTY. They didn't bring any ladder, and she couldn't reach. Very disappointing for $600. read more

She showed up with one other cleaner. They did a thorough move out clean for my 3 bedroom condo. I was also very happy that they were able to do the clean on a Sunday. I asked about 7 other companies and her company was the ONLY one available on a Sunday. She also cleaned and shampooed carpets. They did an excellent job cleaning my place for move-out. They even spent extra time trying to clean spots out of the carpet and called me when they could not make progress on them. I never got to see the cleaning job myself, as they finished once I had moved out, but my landlord was satisfied and that is enough for me. I am going to be using them again soon to clean the floors and carpet at my new house, and will update this review once I've seen their work for myself. The overall cost for carpet cleaning and a move-out clean for my 1200 sq ft house with 2 full bathrooms was $375. Extremely reasonable compared to every other company I went out for a quote with. I personally really liked Anya so it's hard to write this but we paid $225 for a deep clean for 2 bd/2.5 ba and they barely scratched the surface. They left mold in the shower and toilet and didn't wash the bathroom floors (see pics). They didn't clean the glass doors or the base boards, and I had to ask them to clean under the couch cushions. My husband found them and set up the appointment and probably didn't think to ask about these things but these things usually come with a deep clean. All in all they spent a little more than 1.5 hr "deep cleaning," when other cleaners have taken closer to 3 hr. On the plus side the kitchen looks great! read more

I am extremely sorry we hired Anya and her team to do our pre-move cleaning. I was going based on other yelp reviews and I am shocked by how much the outcome differed from what we expected. No deep cleaning of any kind here. First off, windows - they only clean the inside of the window for some reason and even that is just done with a rag, leaving dirt and streaks everywhere. Similar approach to the floors - just spread water around with a mop, leaving streaks and dust. Definitely no shiny floors here. Also, even though they were supposed to wash the carpets, the carpets were bone dry when I came to do the final walk through. They told me that they steam cleaned them and the carpets have dried. Completely dry carpets two hours after steam cleaning! Never experienced this before with carpets being washed and they didn't look washed (new carpets, no stains). Again, Anya told us that they washed the floor "a number of times", which is hard to believe with all the dirt and dust in the corners. Or maybe they just washed the center of the room, I don't know. They did come back to clean the more egregious dirt and dust, but as you expect with wiping windows with a rag in the evening, the result was still very much sub-par. Same goes for the floors. We were just exasperated and paid them, since they offer no refund, but it looks like we need to either try to clean the place properly ourselves (including carpet wash) or hire another company. We wasted a day, we wasted money and we have to redo the whole cleaning somehow, even with being very pressed on time. Basically, the service did not go further than light dusting and running a wet mop over the floor in a cursory manner. If this is what you need - they might be a good choice for you. We wanted a clean house to move in to and we definitely did not get that. read more

I was a resident of Arlington, VA up until last month and in preparation for my move on the first of this month, I knew I would need to contract carpet cleaners as one of the check-out stipulations for my master bedroom involved carpet cleaning/shampooing. I knew right then and there that I hit the jackpot in terms of what I was looking for. Not only would I experience fast reliable service but a thoroughly clean carpet. Never would I have imagined getting excited over such a task, but I did! I contacted Anya directly via phone a few days before, and then texted her with my address the day before. Although my building is difficult to get to, they managed to find the right building, and in no time they were in the lobby escorting their cleaning items to get to my apartment. I brought them to the room that needed cleaning and boy did they get down to business. From moving furniture, to vacuuming, to spraying my carpet with a steam cleaning solution, at the end of it all my carpet was as good as new and mind you I have a few difficult stains that I thought would never come off.
