Once I engaged, the reality didn't match the pitch: * Communication was poor - I had to repeatedly chase them for callbacks. * The "quote" turned out to be just an hourly rate with a 2-hour minimum, not a fixed price. * When I asked what happens if the job runs long, they had no answer beyond calling mid-job to approve extra charges. * I gave full apartment details and had their supervisor visit in person to assess the exact scope -- yet they still refused to commit to a fixed price. * When I added professional carpet cleaning, they simply added a charge and claimed it would still fit the same 2-2.5 hour window, which felt designed to keep the quote artificially low. * After I asked for transparency and requested to speak with the owner, they messaged that they no longer wanted the job -- after all the time I'd invested. I reached out to a number of cleaning companies via Yelp to get estimates for a deep clean for my house and Liberty Maids was one of the first to respond. They exchanged messages with me for a couple of weeks and answered all my questions. The staff was super responsive. I ended up being able to schedule a last minute appointment within 36 hours while I was at work. I provided the details for my cleaning requests and was given a time frame and an estimate. The 3 ladies were scheduled for 8am and arrived at 745. They entered via my lockbox while I was at work. It took them about 3 hours to complete the job. When I arrived home from work I was beyond impressed with the work they did. My house was immaculate which says a lot being that I am a pet owner and a petsitter. They addressed all my requests and my house felt amazing. The price is a bit on the higher end but you pay for what get. Theybdid provide me with a discount code for being a first time customer. I needed move-out cleaning service for my townhouse in DC on short notice. I reached out to a number of vendors via Yelp including Liberty. Liberty was one of the first to respond and consistently had great communication while I was setting up the appointment. They provided a reasonable quote. And the cleaning crew arrived on time. They did a great job cleaning all the bathrooms, dusting the blinds and fans and baseboards, vacuuming and mopping all floors, and made the oven look like it was never used before. I would hire them for my new place but unfortunately they don't service the Bowie area. I highly recommend Liberty! read more

The services the 2-person team provided were very good. The house is very clean and looks great. BUT the deep-clean took FOREVER. The team estimated that the cleaning would take three hours and cost $192. Instead, it took FIVE hours and cost nearly $100 more. While I did not provide the square footage of the home, I do believe I shared that it was a townhome, not an apartment, so the team should have been prepared for a larger space, maybe even sent three team members instead. They also completely missed one of the bathrooms upstairs; I said they didn't have to clean the shower (no one uses it), but they skipped it entirely. At that point, they had been there so long that I wasn't going to say anything. While the job in the end was good, I would have a hard time recommending a cleaning service that takes up half a day. read more

A good friend recommended Liberty Cleaners and all the reviews were great so I took a chance. Unfortunately, I didn't receive the services my friend did. They arrived after the 8am scheduled time which only matters because my estimate included 2.25. By 10:30, they were just finishing up. Because I expected they would be done by 10:15am at the latest, I had to log in to a meeting at 10:30 so I couldn't do a walk through immediately. Upon finishing my other appt (that I was paying for and that started late), I was surprised at what they considered a deep clean. I have lots of videos that I can't attach but am including pictures that don't compromise the privacy of my home. When I contacted them, the person I texted offered an additional 20% off the new client 10% discount or to have them come back. It made no sense to have the same people come back who did a bad job in the first place. And even 30% off is not acceptable because not one room in the house was cleaned, let alone deep cleaned. She said that was all she could do since her supervisor wasn't there. She later told me that she was the owner so I was very confused about why she kept saying there was no supervisor there. Issues included: -Kitchen cabinet exteriors left with spots I was able to wipe off myself very easily -Living room floor extremely sticky (claimed they mopped it 4 times. Only 2 adults live here and we don't wear outside shoes in the home so nothing would have required mopping a floor 4 times). It was not sticky when they started. I did a video walk through before they came and only in the after video can you hear the stickiness of the floors) -Blinds not cleaned in two rooms  -Items were thrown back on shelves in disarray (my shelves are meticulously organized. And while I didn't expect perfection, items shouldn't have been turned on their sides and left scattered) -bathroom tub edge and grout not cleaned (claimed it couldn't be but somehow I get them cleaned myself usually) -exterior of refrigerator and other appliances left with dirt, dust and build up. -shower head in second bathroom not touched (no water was run in that shower at all so not sure how they rinsed whatever they used)  -floors not swept well (she used a vacuum type machine and I'm guessing it couldn't get under shelves but a broom can). -stove exterior not cleaned And that's just everything I've seen so far. She agreed that all of those things should have been cleaned but then called them "little things," and then accused me of simply not wanting to pay. I hired them because I needed to rest my hands due to carpal tunnel. I now have to clean my house in addition to the other preparation for my guests. Just typing this has aggravated my injured hands but this is how upset I am about the quality of cleaning and insult I received. I certainly won't use Liberty again. *edit to respond to the owner's reply: the insult I referred to (and have the text proof of) is the owner's response that said it seemed I just wanted to avoid paying for services. This was after she looked at these photos and many more pics and videos and agreed that the services were not acceptable. I'm not sure why the owner thinks I should have trusted them in my home again. If three of your team members thought this was an acceptable job, I'm not going to allow a fourth person from the same company into my home to make a fool of me again. No, I did not pay for these services. No one room in my house received a deep cleaning nor did they receive even a basic cleaning. read more

Liberty Maids provided a seriously deep clean to our 1000 square foot condo. Under the bed, behind the couch, baseboards, floors, stove, refrigerator, bathroom, you name it. I used this company at the end of December for a move out clean. I unfortunately did not have everything out of the house before the ladies arrived, but that did not deter them from doing an excellent job! They did advise that the service would be different than their standard move out clean and worked around the items I was still packing while ensuring that they hit all the key spots.
