I was not given any warning, no apology and no opportunity to reschedule. I have seen good reviews so I decided to give them another try. Came here to get my acrylics removed with a gel manicure to cover up afterward but wasn't happy with the result - would recommend asking for a technician with more experience. Cost: $50+ tip At first I was happy that the tech was choosing to use the dremel instead of using a plastic nail piece to shove between the layers. However the tech was angling the dremel so that it would dig into my nail in the middle and it was hurting/burning. As a result, 2 of the nails broke through and were too short. The tech was willing to do gel extensions on those nails to get them to the same length as the other nails so it didn't look too awkward but the way she applied the gel on the nail was with a circular globbing motion that resulted in a very uneven result. Not sure if this is the proper technique but those nails didn't last very long - one even broke off that same night. read more

I was in Ashland, OR for a vacation and I really wanted hair color and a trim. I am from San Jose, CA, and am used to being ripped off at hair salons, not only that, but I am also used to of some of the salon artists rudely pointing out what's wrong with my hair and psyching me into buying expensive treatments (Which I don't usually give in to, so they become very rude) But Lori was Amazing. First of all she is very warm, kind and welcoming. Second, she's honest and did not try to get me to buy expensive treatments. She gave me a hair wash and reassured that my hair color is so pretty as is, and don't need a new one. If she suggested to get it done, I'd do it and she'd make more money, but she did not care about making money, but she cared about what's good for my hair. I LOVED that about her. She trimmed my hair very carefully to make sure not to over chop my hair. It was late, and I did uber to go back. The driver did not show up on time. She waited with me. Meanwhile, She was so honest to teach me several things about hair, and believe it not for finances too. It was so nice of her! then I looked up my Uber driver's photo, and it gave me suspicious vibes. I showed her my uber driver's photo. She said, "oh no girl, I'm dropping you off. I won't let you get in Uber with this guy". I offered to pay her for the ride, but she wouldn't take it. She made me believe in humanity and kindness again. No one in California would do that for me. I am beyond impressed with her kindness and honesty. I hope more people go to her. Clearly, she is an amazing artists and does amazing work, but also is an amazing human being. I'm a new client. I called to request a manicure and was given to Rylee. Lucky me!!! Now, Rylee is "stuck" with me. She is very calm, sweet, and focused. She does absolutely meticulous work -- like nothing I've ever seen. She educated me on some important things I didn't know. For example, my last two manicurists were using acrylics on me even though I said specifically I did not want them. Who knew? Certainly not me. But now I do. The way that Rylee did my nails is very, very different - and absolutely beautiful. Before they were very thick with acrylics. And I mean EXTREMEthick. Now they look like beautiful normal nails. I much prefer this and it's safer. I am very grateful! 5.19.20 I just had a pedicure and manicure with Rylee today. I recently moved here from Southern CA and needed a new hair stylist. I have been going to the same one in CA for many years and I was nervous about finding one off Yelp; however I decided to trust the great reviews and sent a message to this salon. Loree responded quickly to my request for an appt, was able to get me within a week or so, and did a great job on my cut, high/low lights. The cost was a little higher than I thought but I'm used to paying that in CA and I firmly believe you get what you pay for. Well, I've never had to do this. My first visit was great and I loved the highlights that I got, but not after the second visit. I wasn't paying much attention because she just asked if I wanted what I got last time and I just said yes. I have blonde hair, and it is graying. Getting the highlights helps blend the gray into my hair and brightens it up. We did talk about going darker at my first appointment, but we did not go through with it as you can see in the picture I attached. I should've said some thing while I was at the salon. This does nothing for blending my gray and will show the grow-out. I went from having blonde hair to some thing that looks reddish in some lights and greenish in others. I have been getting my nails done by Rylee Dressler at Trust Salon for just under a year now and I am amazed by the experience I have had. I am a nail biter and Rylee has never made me feel bad for it like most nail techs do. Her nail room is private and comfortable with affordable pricing and the quality is fantastic! I am the type to get my nails done every 4 weeks cause I am fine with waiting through the grow out and litterally they ALWAYS stay on the duration of that time with no issue. My natural nails are in better condition now then when I came in and started getting my nails done. I 10 out of 10 recommend Rylee for your nail needs! Review for Kelsey Lee/Lash extensions: First and foremost, WOW! I love love love my lashes Kelsey works out of this salon. They offer pretty much every beauty service you can think of - all under one roof. There is also a fair amount of parking dedicated to the salon for customers in the back. The salon is clean and nicely decorated. This was my first time getting lashes so I was fairly nervous. Kelsey calmed my nerves and explained everything from head to toe. This process does take a while so be prepared for that. But that said, you want your lash specialist to take their time because you want your lashes to look natural and well done. I actually cant feel them at all which is great! Pricing is good. A classic set was $120 (plus tip of course). I forgot how much a fill is but its less. I will for sure be coming back to Kelsey on the regular to get my lashes fresh. read more
