My husband and I got dinner here today in the Thurs farmers market. We thought they would be closed…read morea little past 7 but no they're still working hard! I had chicken tacos. Delicious, made to order, quick. They even had their own seating they offered to us, salsa, cilantro, onions and lime. I was nearly done with my tacos when I realized I forgot to take a photo for Yelp. So good, flavorful and affordable. The people working were friendly and I felt bad for staying after the market closed. I do wish they had at least one vegetarian taco option like nopal or other veggies. I do not think they did when I glanced at the menu. I'm still giving them 5 stars since they were yummy and outstanding service. Looking forward to my next visit!

Everyone at the party was very impressed with not only the quality of food, but their excellent service, punctuality, and fantastic set up. Many of our guests said that this pizza was some of the best they've ever had. The crust, sauces, and different recipe combos were absolutely exceptional. Sean was communicative, kind, professional, and SO friendly! He was talking to some of our guests at the party in between making the pizzas/bringing them to our party area and was happy to answer any questions we had for him, which everyone absolutely loved! He truly made it a well-rounded experience. He also was very flexible when we needed to make an adjustment to the timing which we appreciated so so much. The following week while at the Carlsbad State Street Farmers Market I seen the same booth. This time I ordered the salad with chicken and a spinach/feta appetizer. (Don't recall the name). The portion of chicken on the salad was very generous. Lettuce and veggies were fresh. With a perfect amount of feta and dressing. The appetizer came with two large potions. The combo of spinach and feta wrapped in warm phyllo dough. YUM!! The service has been wonderful both times. The same gentleman taking the order at both visits was friendly, answered any questions and provided recommendations. I believe they are a staple at both of these events. Anyway, after picking up my food from Flavors, I decided to check out some of the other vendors to see what delights and treats I could find... imagine my surprise when I saw the cute Amapola stand which was selling my absolute favorite dessert in the world: banana pudding. I was offered a sample of both the pumpkin spice version and the regular version. Both were delicious, but I had to opt for the original banana pudding because it was honestly just so good. It had the perfect mix of banana, cream, and cookie bits. The sweetness lingered in a pleasant and not cloying way. I purchased a medium ($10.78) so I could take it home and share it with M after dinner. Let's just say that in retrospect I should have gotten the larger size because we made that dessert disappear! Good thing that we can go back next week to buy some more! So glad that Amapola is in the neighborhood!

There are three Chow Mein options offered - chicken, tofu, and shrimp. The portion was pretty big (enough for sharing) and cost $11 for a handheld plate. My disappointment was two fold. First, I ordered the Chicken Chow Mein (Ginger Soy Marinated Chicken, Carrots, Noodles, cabbage) and it had been cooked in way too much soy sauce. Secondly, even though they were tight with the chicken ( remember this was $11) I really needed to see more of their vegetables in the noodles. It was like forking up spaghetti without any sauce. Maybe if I had ordered the Veggie version (with tofu) this would have more satisfying. - It was quantity over quality. - Consider this more of a snack than a meal. - Also, they ran out of chow mein noodles during the Lunar New Year. They had to close up shop until they brought more noodles in.. So get the noodles early!
