I went in not very confident since all other therapist offices had failed. At first I was in a lot of pain but slowly started feeling improvement. They had told me of dry needling which I thought of trying. Wow what a surprise I received when I got dry needling the pain disappeared. I feel I'm whole again. I had been in pain for years. I didn't want to believe that this procedure was so good. All the personnel starting from the receptionist, pt assistants are so kind and cater to you. I highly recommend this physical therapy place. I felt comfortable with her right away. Amy promised that she would leave really good notes so that Brookelynn would be able to pick up right where we left off and she made good on her promise! Also Amy has kept me very informed on what my goals are which is very helpful. She regularly goes through my record with me and we talk about it which is so helpful as a patient. It makes me feel like we are a team. My first appointment I told her I had a hard time explaining my symptoms to the doctor because I didn't know much about hip anatomy and how to describe symptoms having to do with the hip. She has listened to what I am saying and looked it up and helped me to find the more common terms for what I am trying to describe. I also like that if I have a question about something, no matter what it is Amy finds an answer for me before I leave. And not just questions necessarily but also any concerns. Yesterday I had some questions about some things my PCP had said and I had concerns that the insurance was going to stop my physical therapy, and she asked Ashika the physical therapist for clarification. Ashika took the time to come in and talk to me personally and also she did some testing and recommended some new exercises. I love believe therapies. They really make me feel like I'm not alone, and I'm being heard. Finally!

Ms. Deborah's initial evaluation was great and a promising start to our speech therapy journey…read more Since then we have had many problems with STST most notably late start times, unannounced no shows, and a lack of documentation leading to MAJOR issues with other providers evaluating my child's speech delay. We have been seeing Ms. Deborah for over a year and I have no proof or documentation to show for it...simply put, it looks like my child was diagnosed with a severe disability and I have done absolutely nothing about it! I thought I was giving my child the BEST with STST, turns out it I was just giving STST a lot of money for very little speech gains and many frustrations in return. Ms. Deborah has since "ghosted" us and will not respond to any communication attempts I have made regarding these issues. For someone who claims her whole business structure is based on "honest communication" I feel like we were not met with that in action and have since had to switch speech therapists. My son is thriving and I feel like we now both have the support we need! Edit: Also, we are STILL dealing with insurance complications (an almost 5 month saga) because Ms. Deborah has failed to complete superbills in a timely or even correct manner! Again, one would think that a private pay therapy would yield better results but it seems that is not the case! It is just leading to more headache for us-already overworked and stressed parents! We definitely dont have this many paperwork issues with any other therapy company we have been working with and am not sure why STST cant produce a correct insurance document after multiple requests!!

While they do play bingo three times a week, they also do things in the community. They garden, go out to eat, go to the movies. They even have a fishing trip coming up for the men's Rooster Club. The food is good for the residents. They are getting quality taste and nutrition three meals a day plus sandwiches and snacks and they also have alternative options if there is something that the resident doesn't like or doesn't want. They currently have four different churches from the community that come out to do organized religious services. And they can even be taken out to church when it is necessary. Smithville is our little gem of a town. Nestled in the tall lost Pines area, the town is quite and quaint. They have just about every kind of food you could ever want to eat right there in town. A Brookshire's that offers curbside if you want to pickup something for your loved one along the way even a public library to bring books to your loved one.
