The most recent was for abdominal separation (diastasis recti) due to pregnancies and hip strengthening for an old injury. I had almost a 4 inch abdominal separation and with persistence I was able to heal most of it. It took me about a year and a half. For that I have been working with physical therapist Whitney Hamilton. She has been very supportive and helpful through this process. The owner, Mr. Jones, their receptionist, Emma and other staff members have always been respectful and accommodating. Their services are very much appreciated!

They cannot keep physical therapist every time you walk in the door there's someone new! I went in this time a new physical therapist she was condescending and Belligerent. I did not have the sling on for my arm as I had taken it off in the car didn't want to bring it in just to take it off and leave it she immediately jumped on me about it and said I will wear it from now on! I asked her about a pulley for the exercises I have to do at home she said they didn't have them available unless I was going to buy it cash. Told her that's not what my doctor had said and left it at that I did my treatment for the day got home my wife ask where my pulley was I said they didn't give me one she called up there and got on people and they said oh I must've misunderstood they would add it to my bill. I got a call from my doctor an hour later about not having a bandage on my wound the physical therapist had called my doctor and told them that I didn't have a bandage on. I can't shower so I was changing shirts to save their sense of smell they wouldn't have to smell me. I got !to thinking and that really upset me! I called and left a message saying that I wanted to speak to the owner or the manager because my physical therapist had broken hip or by calling my doctor. They called me back an hour later even though it was after hours and he introduce myself himself as Mr. Cohen one of the owners. He said the therapist had not broken Hyppa because she had to do wound evaluation I told him that was BS they were not qualified to do wound evaluation and if I had a bandage on it she would've been able to see it. I went to see my doctor the next day to get a bandage because it's a special aqua cell bandage. My doctor said that they had called him and said I refused to take a pulley and I wasn't doing any of the exercises, that I had refused! I told him that they had lied to him. They had refused to give me one without paying cash up front. He checked to make sure that my arm movement was Was good and it was at a 90% which there's no way I would've been at 90% without having done the exercises. I plan on filing a Hyppa compliant and a complaint with the medical and professional ethics review board about this company. If you want to be treated with respect and receive professional care go anywhere else besides Jones and Cowen! There in ability to maintain permanent Physical therapists should tell you everything you need to know! If you're not honest and good to your employees you will never be able to keep them. Since I talk to the owner Mr. Jones and he tried to cover for the therapist it tells me everything I need to know! He also told me since I had my initial evaluation in the first session there I will never be able to get the insurance to approve a transfer anywhere else so once you get started there it is extremely hard to change so make the right choice in the first place.

A vast array of cardio equipment, free weights, and machines will keep your muscles guessing and allow you to mix up your routine. They offer a bunch of different classes which are complimentary with your membership. My one complaint would be to get some firmer foam rollers, but if this is my only strike on this place, you know it's darn near perfect. My favorite thing here is their healthy deli which features beyond reasonable pricing. I got a tasty large smoothie for less than $5 which would have cost me close to $10 at a professional smoothie shop. Literally this place has everything under the sun to help cater to one's healthy lifestyle. If I lived in Victoria, I'd make Citizens HealthPlex my home away from home.

My favorite rule of the gym is no one under 18 allowed. My second favorite rule is no nudity allowed in the hot tub and steam room. Let's face it, there are some people that we don't want to see naked. The fitness area is fully furnished with fitness equipment. The indoor pool and track are also a big draw. They offer a full array of fitness classes, including yoga and Cross Fit. The facility is immaculately clean. They offer massage therapy and also have a healthy deli downstairs. This is definitely my home away from home.

Upon entering the facility, we found a relaxing environment with only a few other people waiting. There were plenty of staff on hand who were friendly and helpful. After filling out the required paperwork, we were taken right in. Doctor Line and a Physician assistant were in within 5 minutes. Dr. Line was friendly and upbeat. He suggested a cortisone shot, but we told him that my dad was also being treated for cancer and would need approval from his cancer Dr. What Dr. Line did next, I've never seen before. He asked who my dad's cancer Dr. was, he then texted her and got approval on the spot to administer the cortisone. Truly above and beyond! Thank you to the whole team. The whole experience was stellar!

I had an appointment with Dr. Rick Seabolt and his nurse, Jamie (front desk told me that was her name) for hip stiffness. The front desk ladies were very nice when I checked in for my appointment. When Jamie came and got me to take me back she immediately said we'll take x-rays of my hips, and I was confused as to why we would jump to x-rays when I hadn't talked to her or the clinician as to why I was there. She said that was how they normally did things, and I continued asking questions because I was simply confused at what the cost would be and why x-rays were indicated. She was off-put by my questions, said I could talk to the doctor first, and put me in an exam room and left the door open. She walks off to a desk nearby next to a 2nd woman and proceeds to mock me in a cruel tone with rude gestures by saying "I refuse to take x-rays without speaking to the doctor first". I was so shocked in seeing them continue to talk horribly about me, they then both turn to look at me, see that I just saw that whole interaction, and the 2nd woman approaches immediately justifying why they do x-rays first. I said ok I was just confused and concerned with what the extra cost would be for them, and this woman became increasingly more rude and aggressive in how she was talking to me and started to talk over me (sadly, I did not get her name to mention in this review). At the end of the conversation I said ok I'll take the x-rays now before seeing the doctor, feeling completely blindsided by this horrible interaction, then Jamie came back into the room to take my history. I was so incredibly dumbfounded that this just happened and I told her I do not appreciate the aggressiveness and rudeness that just occurred. She brushed it off and left me to wait for the doctor. Dr. Seabolt was very nice and we had a brief conversation why I was there and what value x-rays would do for my visit. I mentioned to him I was confused about taking x-rays first, but did not tell him the rude interaction that just occurred. After the x-rays he gave me suggestions for 2 stretches for my hips and then I left. Overall, I will not be going back to this office. Horrible, horrible experience.
