I really like Dr. Crear and some of the PAs so it's a shame that the messaging service is not held to a high standard. Honestly, it's like talking to a child...but one who clearly uses AI to polish their grammar. The level of incompetence - with incorrect prescriptions called in and incorrect information relayed - is concerning. I hope they don't have these medical assistants completing tasks that require common sense, like relaying important test results. I know practices are trying to increase profits, especially those practices that are owned by private equity (which this place may be--IDK). But please consider your patients. Don't run a competent practice into the ground by having these assistants do what medical professionals should be doing. Employ some actual nurses to answer patient questions for god's sake, not just "medical assistants."

i have been a patient of Dr. Christophe Gay for many years now and although I have only had a…read morecouple different full time family doctors I have had many different doctors take care of me in Emergency situations and in limited time treating situations when i only saw them for a few visits. I usually had the feeling that most docs are just pretending to hear you and respond in a way that is either cruel or embarrassing! I have always been made to feel like i am the most important patient to him (Dr. Gay). He is very caring but at the same time he doesn't just tell you what he thinks you want to here. I especially love the way he takes the time to listen to ALL of my problems (medical or personal) and gives me excellent advise even if it stings a little. He never makes me feel like I am some dope seeking bull sh*tter and takes all things into consideration before writing my prescriptions which we both work together through trial and error situations at times to see which medication works best for me. he is usually willing to compromise when it comes to controlled substances and has always given me a chance to slowly reduce the amounts of medications over a period of several months. (example - I was receiving a medication for pain that contains both hydrocodone and acetaminophen and it is a great medication for mild to moderate pain. I broke my heal and if you have ever broken your heal then you know how much pain it causes. Dr. Gay doubled my Norco from 100 to 200 a month until it was healed and then he slowly reduced my dose and today I am totally off of that medication. Dr. Gay truly cares about his patients and I will continue to see him as my family physician until i die or he retires. I also have severe fatty liver disease and enlarged liver which is a very serious condition. And no its not because i am an alcoholic I stopped drinking when I was about 28 and I am almost 38 now. Dr. Gay monitors the condition of my liver and lower back pain. if you are seeking a good doctor that will listen to you and treat you professionally and do his best to get you comfortable, he is your man. Very affordable ($70) no insurance! thank you and i hope this information helps! its worth the drive!
