Great bar located in downtown Kirkland! This place is very dog friendly, has a great selection of beer, fun games, and a very friendly staff! Ambiance/Service: The place has a lot of fun games going on. They have different games that you can play from golf, to corn hole, to games they have had created just for them. They also do trivia nights along with other fun nights to keep things interesting. Their service staff is also very friendly and helpful. Food/Drinks: They have a very small menu of food, but are absolutely welcoming to you bringing anything in from outside, which we have done many times. The drinks are wonderful and from all over Washington, and you cannot go wrong with finding one that you like since they rotate and have so many to choose from. Definitely recommend going here. I heard a lot of fun things about this place and decided to check it out. Overall, I thought it was ok, not sure what the hype is about. The mini golf course is standard, had some fun courses but nothing special. I also got the berry cider as well as a ginger rye beer and it was not that great. The beer was bland but did have a ginger smell. The cider was a little too sweet for me. Pricing wise, it was ok. The beer was $6 and the golf was also $6/person. However, if you have a yelp check in, you get it for $3, which is nice. The place is kinda small so it can get cramped and there's a bunch of other things to do like board games or duffle board. My wife and I checked out this place for our date night. Some free parking can be found on the streets, which we were able to find. There is also paid parking in the Marina parking lot. Be sure to pay for your parking if needed people. Parking enforcement was in full effect and we watched several people get ticketed. A sure way to ruin a date night. Discover is an accepted form of payment. Upon entrance you'll notice a digital brew board listing nothing but WA brews. Love that since WA makes the best brews ever. For wine lovers, WA wines can also be purchased by the glass. My wife ordered an amber by 7 Seas Cutt's Ale and I ordered and Irish Red by Big Al, both for $4 each. We both enjoyed our choice and happily slurped them up while playing a bit of golf. We also received a complimentary basket of mini pretzels to munch on while playing/slurping. There are a couple cold sandwiches, bags of chips and nuts to purchase if hungry. There are also a couple of other restaurants where meals can be ordered and delivered (pizza being one of them). We chose not to eat here. There are 9 different miniature golf courses to play for $6 per person. All the courses are made up of refurbished material which makes me happy. Kegs were incorporated into some of the courses which was fun to see. Loved all of the local brewery stickers pasted all over the courses. I recently held an event here after buying a Groupon for a private party for 20. The space is really cool although the mini golf area is only 9 holes. It can be a tight space if there are a lot of people playing. The holes are pretty difficult, but I love the keg decorations! I also really love their beer menu where it shows how full the kegs are, and at the top, there's a social media feature where it tells you what is being said about Flatstick as well as who's checked in there on Swarm. I love the variety of beers and ciders, and they were all around $5.50 to $6.50. The location is great, right in downtown Kirkland and next to the water. Parking can be tough when the weather is nice, but it's manageable. I would definitely come back! read more

This is by far the best dog friendly place on the east side! I've been here four times with a small group of friends and once hosted my entire team for a holiday party (2017). They offer more than what you can hope for, for a dog friendly bar! Normal prices on beer, a personable staff, mini putt putt and lots of seating. The staff were super helpful, informative, and genuinely nice. Always willing to answer a question. Always smiling and always ready to pour another drink. The experience was beyond great and I'm so very glad we opted to use their facility. The golf course was amazing. Not easy either I might add. Just difficult enough to keep it interesting. If you're looking for a place to have a party, you should definitely consider this place. The only con was they don't offer a wide variety of food. BUT, they do allow to have food catered in! This location is a lot smaller than the one in Seattle, like by a lot, it's just one room compared to 2 enormous floors in Seattle, but there's still enough space for a mini golf course here plus it's kind of hard to find a cool spot like Flatstick Pub on the eastside. This is located on the basement floor in the same building as Sotheby's Real Estate, you should see signs outside to go downstairs though. Great location, it's in downtown Kirkland where all the shops and park is so there's plenty of things to do or walk to around here. Dogs are welcome here. Even if you don't have a dog yourself, it's so awesome to see and play with other people's dog. They are known for their beer and ciders although I can't taste either to give a critic on that area. I come here because it's open late and there's mini golf when it's too cold outside to still play golf in Seattle. I like how considerate the layout of the course is, there's a table and hook at each course so you can put your drink and hang your purse. I visited the Kirkland Flatstick Pub for the first time the other week and it was a great time. This location is dog friendly, so our friends brought their dog to hang out with us. They had a great selection of craft beer and ciders, and for food, they have personal pizzas and little snacks. The pizza is premade, but it tasted pretty good (I'm also a sucker for a solid premade pizza in general). We made an appointment in advance for a tee time, so we arrived early to catch up, enjoy food and drinks, then finished off with mini golf and a few rounds of their version of shuffleboard. They also offer a lot of board games. It's definitely a small spot for the number of people that enjoy going there, and especially so if dogs are chilling and laying around. Although, for the amount of space they have, they did a great job to make it comfortable and easy to get around between the bar and mini golf. read more

I've been here a few times over the years and it's fun enough, although I'm not really a beer person so if I have a choice I'll opt for another setting to booze up. They do offer a few options that aren't beer... I appreciated the spiked seltzer on my last visit and have gotten wine as well as cider before. But who plays mini golf with a glass of red in hand? This girl apparently. I do love the dog friendliness and sometimes it's nice having an activity to take part in while you're chatting it up and sipping your drink of choice. Love this place, as its always a stop whenever I'm in Kirkland! First of all, the list of beers on tap is amazzzzing! It's extensive, local (always from WA!) and is a great variety every time I visit. I love trying new IPAs and this place never disappoints. Also, you can get different sizes like four ounces, eight ounces or a pint, which I really like since I like to try so many different kinds of beers. The beer list is plastered on a board against the wall but if you're sitting where it's hard to see there is a mobile tablet with the same list that you can check out - very convenient. Rounds of mini-golf is only six bucks, but know that the place is always busy so may be a wait to play. They always have a private party too which reserves the bar area next to the mini golf section. But it's always fun. I especially love that Flatstick has YAPPY hour, which is from 6 - 7. If you bring your dog you get a dollar off pints. And they allow dogs inside and have treats for them. If my dog loves the place then I will, too. That's my golden rule! Although they don't serve food other than mini savory pies that they get from the 3.14 Food Truck, many nearby restaurants will deliver for free and you can check out the menus of the places that do so at FP. Or you can bring your own. It's all good. There's a small patio outside and two entrances to Flatstick Pub. There's also trivia on Wednesdays at 7, which gets packed, but very fun. Would have been 5 stars, but we had to physically drive down to confirm if the reservation request we sent in the previous week was going to work or not. Aside from the lack of response on the reservation, everything else here was great! We booked tee time for about 12 of us on a Friday afternoon. When we arrived there was plenty of seating and the bartender was great at ensuring everyone had a drink. The 12 of us broke off into three groups for the mini golf. Now, I'm not great at mini golf, but these holes seemed particularly difficult. We enjoyed the challenge though and a few in our group stayed at or just above par. They had a great selection of beer and aside from the mini golf there was a lot to do in this pub! They had an old N64 with Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, and others. There was also a small shuffle board and some board games. And just outside you get an awesome view of Lake Washington. I've been coming to Flatstick since it opened, I'm surprised I've never reviewed it before. This place is great, and I usually don't even mini-golf. The staff is great and friendly. Beers may be a little over priced, but they're reasonable and drafts are constantly changing. The $100 membership is well worth it, unlimited golf and games at every location and $2 off a select beer each day. Be sure to download the app to track your beers, it's a good reference for what you like and don't, and they give you a few prizes along the way. You get an extra large pour for life after your first 33 beers. Great spot for an office party or another celebration as they have room rentals. Plenty of parking right outside in Marina Park. Happy hour is every weekday, $1.50 off beers. Dog friendly. read more

What an interesting bar! We were looking for a chill bar to drink beer and stumbled upon this place. They have a good variety of beer including light ones (good for me since I like hefeweizen). We came on a Saturday night around 10 PM and the place was busy but not overwhelmingly so. There is a mini putt course!! There was a waiting list so if you do want to play, I recommend putting your name down asap. It was about a 20 minutes wait for us. There is a scoring sheet to see who comes out on top in your group. I don't putt often but I really enjoyed the courses. I definitely did not win. The whole place was clean including the restrooms. Found out about this place through some friends so decided to check it out with my bf on a Friday night. It's located on the bottom floor so it's not on the Main Street. We walked downstairs and they checked ID at the door. We made reservations for put put through their website and checked in with them. After, we went to the bar to put in our beer order! Conveniently, they could open a tab with our name (both mini golf and drinks). Their strawberry mango Hefeweizen was really unique and refreshing! If you like beers on the sweeter/fruitier side, you'd enjoy it! The mini golf was fun, but shorter than we expected. We finished the entire course pretty fast. So, we ended up playing card games! Tall bartender tells us that they are at capacity and that he won't know when he will have spots so we say okay, put us down. He looked mad at that, so we watch the game from outside then two new people who happen to be white come in and get a table no problem, he didn't see that we seen that so when we ask him why 3 brown men couldn't get a table but they magically "had a table open up" That was empty when originally got there. We came here for the mini golf course, and enjoyed some drinks while we were there. The experience in itself was pretty fun, but be warned that the golf course gets very uncomfortable when it's busy. There isn't a lot of space to maneuver in between certain holes, and there is no regulation of big groups. We got stuck behind a group of 5 that was behind a group of 8, so it took a while to get through. All in all, I'd go back, but not during a busy hour. Lesson learned! read more

There are many great things about this place that makes it unique and one of my favorite spots. 1.) Bring Fido: A pub that allows not just service animals, but also your pets definitely gets my attention. It is difficult to find places that allows pets indoors and this pub embraces the idea of dogs. There is a cutest pet drawing every 20th of the month. To enter, simply snap a picture of your dog enjoying their time at Flatstick and post to Instagram with a tag #flatstickpup. 2.) Games Galore: Whether its board games, mini golf, beer pong (not really using beer, rather water), and trivia night, this pub has everyone covered. Wednesdays are trivia nights and it is free to join. I've had the opportunity to try this our during a CAYE (Community Ambassador Yelp Event). Entry was free and the questions are uniquely gated around a theme. Mini golf is an excellent adventure in of itself. It is $6 to play for a maximum of 8 players. I recommend completing a reservation on their website. There is a happy hour rate of $3 per person Monday to Friday 3PM - 6PM. Minors are allowed to play mini until 7PM daily. 3.) Drink Selections: A huge list of ciders and beers is on a digital signage behind the counter just above the taps. Items do rotate and I recommend the Baked Apple Cider or Cherry Cider. The drinks are served on can shaped glasses 4.) Ordering in is the norm and tables have a flip menu on various places available to call for delivery. The most popular option has been Pagliachi's. Overall, this pub certainly earns high marks for activities, pet friendly, ideal group spot. read more

There are so many reasons to visit here! I was fortunate to be invited to a Yelp event a couple months ago and upon discovery, this is the first place I think of when going out with a friend or few. Location: right on the marina, it's hidden away on the lower floor, away from the hustle and bustle of the blvd. It may take you a bit to find parking on the weekends, but your walk will be worth it. Ambience: I love the low ceilings!!!! The bar is huge and there are so many tables for any size group. It's fun to watch the mini-golfers play from the bar. Mini Golf: harder than you expect! I'm sure if you play the course enough it would get easier. It's great to see old kegs repurposed on each hole; very creative. BEER: I LOVE their cider selection. My absolute FAVORITE is the Habenero. More recently I gave the Basil Mint a try and also loved it, as well as the Gin Botanical Cider....a totally unexpected new favorite of mine now! Food: it's quick and easy to order takeout from surrounding restaurants and they even deliver it to you in the bar. Note::::: you need to call yourself. Bonus: if your sitting far from the TV Screen menu (that displays how full the keg is...very cool), they have a portable iPad menu that makes it super easy to decide on a drink. Service: the bartenders are superb and can recommended a beer/cider based on your preferences. We tried this place for a friend's birthday after we got a Groupon. If you're on the fence about going, go check it out but check Groupon, it comes with a pint glass, a beer and a round of golf for roughly $40. Great outing for $10 a person. The actual entrance is not off Lake street but off a parking area in the back. Keep going pass where your map tells you it is, make a left on Kirkland Ave then a left into the parking area. It got a bit crowded so it gets warm. They have a gauge on the tap to indicate how much is left which is cool and they let you try the beer. There is a map on the back of the score card for which hole comes next as more than one group went to the wrong hole. They only have pretzels, pub mix and pistachios but they do have a food binder and outside food is okay per the guy behind the bar. It was a lot of fun and we are planning on coming back. read more

What a cool concept. It is the first adults only (mini golf and beer) that I've been to. Met up with some friends to redeem our free game after attending a Yelp event. I thought the course was fairly challenging though small and cramped. Then again I'm not very good. I like their ever changing electronic beer menu. The digital gauge to show how much beer is left in each keg is pretty rad. They also have board games on the shelf for those who don't want to play mini golf and/or play afterwards. The one thing I don't like is that their food option is limited to cold deli food although they do allow you to bring outside food. There's plenty of choices from nearby restaurants though. The idea behind this place is brilliant. However, the execution is kind of poor. I went here this past summer and forgot to write a yelp review. And that's the problem. My time there was forgettable. The beers are the highlight of course. But the mini golf was surprisingly not fun. The design of the holes and the actual fabrication of them make for a repetitive, discouraging mini golf experience. The balls don't ricochet off the walls like they should and the water placement is unforgiving. Like I said, the idea is there. The execution is not. It didn't really give off a pub kind of vibe.
