We celebrated my son's 6th birthday at Monster Mini Golf and it was absolutely AMAZING! From the moment we walked in, the staff was so friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful. They made everything smooth and stress-free for us parents -- which is such a gift on a birthday party day! The kids were beyond excited about the glow-in-the-dark monsters, neon lights, and the fun spooky-but-not-scary vibe. Watching their faces light up as they played mini golf under the glowing colors was priceless. They didn't want to leave! It was the perfect mix of fun, energy, and organization. I love mini golf and have previously been to a Monster mini in another location. When my friends suggested we get together to run the course I was all in. Located inside Factoria Mall, the venue is large, with an arcade and prize game area in front of the mini golf course. My friends eagerly played some games to win novelty toys and tried the cotton candy maker. I played some pinball so if any of this sounds fun in addition to golfing, they have it here. The course as expected has about 16 holes, all with varying lengths, obstacles and angles. It's a lot of fun lining up different putts. The decor has a sort of comedic-horror art with a Washington theme and other mechanical props to add to the fun and ambience. The snag? The same issue I have at most mini golf places, people start to get bunched up behind you because their playing too fast/making their own rules or whatever. Were we playing too slow? Maybe. There were four of us and we played as quickly as we could but alas... Even the staff girl told us we're capped at 5 swings a piece at one point before we need to move on. Needless to say, by the end we had several impatient people waiting behind us. I know this isn't Monsters fault per se, but I repeatedly saw kids just putting the ball near the hole for easy shots to go faster or smaller children crying and jumping random holes out of order. The service was great. Several employees went above and beyond to bring our party specific drinks and help accommodate several little ones with cashing out their points at the prize area. The one thing that prevented it from being 5 star was that about 1/5 of the arcade machines were down with signs saying "Today is my day off". Also, twice an arcade machine deducted funds but did not start playing, so I had to pay double those times. And for the ball dropping and catch in the bucket game- once it worked but we went back and paid and the balls didn't drop but the timer ran down and then said "0 balls caught". Went here for a work event and honestly, it was a great time. The black light mini golf was super well done - lots of quirky details with just the right amount of weird. We also tried the arcade, mini bowling, and laser room. Happy to report that all the areas were well-staffed and easy to navigate. The private room had this macabre haunted house vibe (think skull chandeliers and dark walls), catered pizza, wings, salad, and drinks, and a staff member to help with service. What a great place to act like a kid for an afternoon, especially for my birthday! The course layout maximizes space and helps limit backups between holes. Loved the fun PNW facts adorning the walls, and was very thankful I wasn't wearing anything that would be black-light innapropriate, lol. Skeeball was definitely a plus as was Mario Kart. Fun experience! Small selection of arcades and a huge mini golf experience. Beautiful art and sculptures surround the walls and golf course. Staff was helpful and present, helped explained the golf arena and the line for a arcade card/golfing was through at a reasonable time. We had to wait 30 minutes for our time to golf and they got us at about 45 minutes. Place was packed on a weekend mid-afternoon, but was enough space to walk around and enjoy our games. Visited the establishment with a very large group and the experience was great! There is plenty of parking as long as you're not set on grabbing a spot in front of the supermarket next door. I played a round of mini golf and then some arcade games. Everything is indoor and there was good ventilation throughout. The mini golf course was super simply but also fun. There was no area or hole closed off for repair and all the characters throughout the course that moved were functioning. There are a couple of party rooms which I am assuming require a reservation of sorts but even without reservation groups of all sizes seem welcome. We passed by this place once before, but it didn't look very impressive so we didn't end up trying it. However, the review was good months later so we decided to give it a shot. The price is quite steep ($30 for 2), but then it's Bellevue. There are 18 holes, and it's a bit difficult to see as it's dark with the laser. The vibe was nice though, and the group ahead of us was way ahead, and there wasn't any group after us so we felt relaxed. Most holes have a similar setup, and there are several that requires a good aim for the shortcut. There was one on a small hill that I had trouble with, but otherwise everything was straightforward. This review concerns hosting a child's birthday party here -- in short, I do not recommend it. We held a 6-year old birthday party here with 24 guests (not including parents). The party organization was a chaotic mess that ended up being really stressful. Imagine if TSA or the DMV ran your child's party, and you'll get an idea of what it was like: * they require guests to consume any food and cake before getting to play any of the games -- but serving food / eating etc took up 1 hour of the 2 hour party; kids were getting restless and really wanted to go out and play * if you want to serve food, they require you to order pizza through their vendor; they were supposed to get 6 pies but someone messed up and they only delivered 5; we ran out, and they didn't deliver the 6th pie until the meal time was over * they wanted to force the entire group to go through the mini golf course together before they would handout the prepaid cards so people can play video games etc; imagine trying to force two dozen 5-6 year olds to play mini golf together; majority of them wanted to go off and play the video games but were told they could not by the staff * I overruled the staff and demanded the video game cards be distributed ASAP so that kids could go off and play what they wanted; only the manager had the cards, and was on break or in the bathroom for 15 minutes; most kids didn't want to play mini golf and were getting restless waiting for the game cards * when the manager finally returned, none of the game cards had been loaded with any value; manager then had to load up 24 game cards one at a time; again, kids were getting restless and my cortisol levels were exploring The only plus side is the spooky decor matched what my son wanted for his birthday. And once the manager / staff finally got out of the way and let the kids play, the experience finally was better. But the first hour and twenty minute of this two hour party were extremely frustrating and stressful (for $1000+ party, they can do a lot better). Next year, we will have the party at Dave & Busters. Son attended a birthday party there and the whole experience was smooth and seamless. read more

A pretty fun experience! My husband and I came to try the mini golf. Parking was easy to find. We came on a Sunday around 1pm and it wasn't too busy when we arrived. I appreciate that they control the amount of people on the course at a time so we had about a 15 minute wait before we were able to go. The courses were fun! Really love the decor and all of the glow in the dark things! It kind of gave me spooky season vibes! My only little thing was that we had two young boys (maybe 8-10 years old) who kept hitting balls onto our course when it was still our turn and then they started fighting/wrestling in front of us so we couldn't mini golf until their mom came. I love kids and am aware this is geared for kids but I really think that younger kids should be accompanied by a parent because they were also moving things on the course and shaking the props. read more

We had a day open up to take my five year old son out to do something just for him, and this place has been on my radar for a long time. Glad we finally got the chance to take him! He loves mini golf and he loves Halloween, so this was the perfect combination. I didn't realize there was more to do here than mini golf, which was a nice bonus. I didn't realize it's essential a waitlist system, so we were quoted a wait time of 50 minutes before we'd be able to golf. Thankfully they have plenty of arcade games and a few small bowling lanes which we took advantage of to pass the time. The games are a little expensive at $1.50 per game, and the bowling is $6 for 5 frames. He played plenty of games and there's a good amount to choose from. He played the bowling twice and really loved that! I think the $6 price was pretty decent for how much time he spent there. You're able to use bumpers and change the theme of the bowling screen which is fun. Overall this was a super fun day for my son and we had a good time with him! This place is a solid way to burn a few hours on a day you need to be indoors. It's located in the factoria mall over on the wal-mart side. There is a very small arcade up front and the glow in the dark mini golf is in the back. We went on a rainy day and had to wait about 45 minutes, which allowed my kids to rope me into burning a bunch of money in the arcade - with the arcade being small they got bored pretty quick. Would recommend making a reservation on a weekend, especially indoor kind of days. The staff were very helpful and attentive of safety in the monster mini golf area. They have music on and most the holes have some kind of glow art. Kids thought it was really fun. They do bday parties here, which I could see being fun for kids 8-10ish years old. read more

I'm going to give this five stars for the mini golf itself but I feel like the place way over sells the other services it offers to the point where it's misleading and you go there expecting a completely different experience than they offer. The mini golf is 75% of the actual physical space, hence the name. it is done really well and the course is taken really good care of. It is challenging but not impossible. The theme is fun and the neon colors make it different than all the other places in the area. The course is a little on the small side but the factors I stated above are enough to still make it enjoyable . But because of the size, I could probably only go there one more time and then I would probably be maxed out on it. The other things they say they have as part of the experience is amazed, bowling, and VR. While they do have these things technically, the bowling is actually a large arcade game and I believe is only two lanes. The maze is a really large, arcade game. Imagine a super huge box that you go into. The VR is more like regular arcade games so I'm not sure why they call it that. And all of these things only take up about 25% of their total floor space so it's a very very very small part of the experience. So that 25% of the experience seems to have newer games so that is good but it's not that many. You can still win prizes with the "tickets" that you win but it's gonna be limited since there's not that many games . It will be interesting to see how long this place makes it. It seems like they're doing too many things and not many of them very well. Maybe it would be best if they only just focus on a mini golf but I'm not sure if they would have the ability to get enough loyalty and return customers even if they converted the additional 25% space they're using for games. it's still wouldn't be big enough and therefore dynamic enough to get people to keep coming back. Well at least adults. I'm sure kids would be fine with having the same experience over and over and over and over. So, if you want a fun experience playing mini golf that won't take that long, go and try it. The price was very reasonable. Just don't plan on that being your entire evening out. it will maybe take you 45 minutes and that is if you play super slow. read more

Came mid afternoon on a Monday during summer 2023. Getting started took a LONG time. --The family in front of us had loooooooots of questions. Despite there being a couple people behind the register we had to wait for family to choose and pay. It took way to long to get started. The kids were over it before we even got our gold clubs and balls. Could have been more efficient. Seriously painful. There was only 1 bathroom and the other had a "for employees only" sign on it. When one of the kids couldn't wait any longer for someone to exit the customer one, I had to ask to use the other one. The mini golf rules sign was written like on a scratch paper and was hard to read. Hard to navigate with kids when you are behind anyone. We jumped ahead some holes because of this. I Wish the hole numbers were easier to read. The arcade was way too expensive. We bought rounds for the laser room and it kept messing up or not starting. We had to go get help but that didnt redeem our time cards. Overall, it was something to do and new for the kids to do but probably won't be back. read more

We got the combo pass with bowling, arcade, and mini golf. Overall this place is pretty easy to get to with plenty of parking around the mall it's in. The arcade is small but still has a decent selection of games including racing, shooting, claw machines, pinball, etc. The racing games are decently worth it but the shooting games are really short for one scan. The skeeball also has an uneven number of balls across the machines but it gives you a set number of balls which is nice to address that. The bowling is a little bit like skeeball with pins as it's not full size. It can be a little glitchy though. My partner threw a gutter ball on his first throw of a turn and it freaked out and gave him a zero for both turns and me a zero for my first throw. The golf is honestly the main attraction and the only thing I would probably come back for as an adult. The glow in the dark spooky decor is awesome and they fit a lot of holes in the course area. They were decently challenging for all ages. The attendants tell you the rules and do seem to walk around, but from what I observed, there's not much enforcement. Two preteens behind us kept trying to hit their balls repeatedly while we were still finishing up a hole and we had to tell them to stop more than once. There was also a group of adults taking way more than 5 hits a person on every hole and it got pretty backed up. That said, the attendants did offer to move us up ahead of the slow party, but we preferred to complete all the holes even if we had to wait. It gave us more time for pictures anyways without feeling like we were holding anyone up. Overall a positive experience but I'd probably just do the golf again if I returned. read more

I opted to go on a weekend afternoon, not sure if I realized it was also an arcade place with other stuff to do, but on this visit we only checked out mini golf. As can be expected there are lots of kids around, not sure if they take reservations but when we showed up we were added to a waitlist and got a text when it was our turn to play. Our wait time was about 15 minutes, but this gave us enough time to walk around the mall, I appreciate the text notification so we didn't have to stand there doing nothing or waste a ton of money at the arcade. It's also great that they try to space things so that the course does not get overly crowded, we did have people directly in front of us and behind us, but it was fine. They only allow 5 strokes per person per hole. It was 15$ for each adult. I really liked the blacklight balls and the cool decorations. It's 18 holes. I did not realize this course would be Bellevue themed and I actually learned quite a few things about the area. I even had to google some things like who some of the local famous people on the wall were and where Phantom Lake was (I'm happy it told me about a new place to check out). There's a DJ booth in the back of the course and occasionally they told us to do different things like hit the ball with our left hand, one hole had us spin to determine how we would play the hole. I played the very affordable party package of $27 for: 1 round of golf (18 holes) 10$ arcade card (each game $1.50) 1 game of bowling $5 Arcade games (Mario Cart, monster truck & skeet ball & halo) are geared towards a younger audience--think 15 and under--and the music is very PG too. It's clean and well-maintained and the whole vibe is just chill and cute. It's way more laid back than Round 1. There are no stuffed toy claw machines, no rhythm games, no DDR/dancing platform games, no fighting games, and no hardcore racing games, so if you were expecting those games, they are not here. This place is still very new and the owner is planning on bringing in new machines, a photo booth + more skee ball, so there will added variety to the already wide spread of games they have available! For arcade and games of chance, there are far better venues like D&B or CeC. The Mini Golf Bellevue arcade experience left us all feeling sad. The combo pass included mini golf. After maybe 2 hours of waiting, our turn was ready. The mini golf was a lot of fun, but you have to be patient waiting your turn on busy days. The wait for 1/2 hour and they will text you when they're ready. One thing I noticed is that there's limited space when you're waiting for your party to hit. I didn't want to block the other holes ahead of us, so I stood on the curb. It felt a little cramped. My youngest became scared and we didn't finish our round of golf. The music was super loud too and it made it hard to hear people. I bought a play card. For $25, you get $28 worth of play. Most of the games are around 1.00-2.00. I think that's cheaper than Dave and Busters. It's a small place though but we found a few games that we liked like the skeeball, clown game, and water game.- where people chase you and shoot them with water. This place was SOOOO FUNNNNNN!!! Visited here during the week with my grandma and mom for some mini golf during my visit home. I'm sure it was off-hours, which was nice since the traffic was low. However, I will say, the course was SUPER fun!! For a mini golf course, I LOVED that it was all glow in the dark-esque. I LOVED the small thoughtful details that were put into the theme. Some of the artwork on the walls was so cute and made me chuckle with the Wa-themed references. Both my mom and gma (now mid 80's) had a bunch of fun with this! Fun theme but expect a 1hour+ wait. Guests sign in then wait to receive a notice for entry, so an empty room will quickly fill with people. We were stuck behind a large group, so just waiting to putt took 15+minutes. We were quoted 45minutes but it took 1hr until we could check in. There's hardly indoor seating to wait, so I recommend visiting during mall hours so you have something to do while waiting. The course seems to be well maintained, there's a couple interesting animatronics, and several black light sculptures. They have 2 birthday rooms available, a small bowling alley with 3 lanes, arcade (majority of games are $1.50), and a laser obstacle room (think mission impossible). In all, I don't think we'll visit again but this would be a fun place for a Beetlejuice themed birthday party. read more

There's glow in the dark mini golf with 18 holes, mini bowling, a laser maze, VR, and an arcade. The mini golf is my favorite! The fact that it's glow in the dark makes it even cooler. The holes are super creative and they play music which makes the experience even better. And I realized the screen was off (see video) I asked the staff for help, and they said "the game is still running even the screen is broken, you cannot see but you can still hear the sound and shoot the balls" And keep trying to convince me to continue to play. Are you being serious now?? I paid almost $2 for a game. I asked for a refund and found out the system tapped my card 3 times instead one one! What a joke?! Shut down the game if it's broken!! The course is dark with black lights and cool paint and decorations that glow. The course is fun! The only complaint is some of the holes it is basically impossible to get a hole in one. But there are some cool holes I thought! Not the longest course but fun! The prices are a little high I thought for one round is the only reason I give it a 4 instead of 5.
