I took my boyfriend here for a date night and we both had a great time. The first thing I noticed when we entered was that to the left at the bar, the large selection of local craft beers they have, which was neatly listed by brewery/location and the name of the beer on a digital display that also showed the level of the keg. It made choosing a beer easier if you're no beer expert like me, since you can see what's popular judging by the level of the keg. Of course, the bartender is very helpful and friendly too. The mini golf itself costs $6 per round. There's nine mini golf holes to the right of the pub and they all seem to be carefully crafted by, I'm assuming, the owner. Each hole was unique and had a beer/Washington-centric theme to it, the place was lined with stickers from local breweries, and there were kegs lining the wall as decoration, which contributed to the whole ambience of being local. The crowd was also easy going and fun loving. Overall, we had a great date night here and as a bonus, it's right next to the water so after our intense golf round we walked right outside to the beach park to watch the sun set. One important thing to note is that they don't seem to have a food menu. BUT I did see a few bigger parties with snacks that appear to have been bought from the grocery store. When my husband purchased the Groupon for 4 people, including 4 drinks and glasses, we thought the place was going to be palacial and huge to cover the 9 mini golf holes. It wasn't. The vibe is more pub/dorm room party and has beer pong tables and other games in the lobby to entertain crowds. The golfing area is small but challenging and the environment is really fun and safe. They allow dogs on the premises which adds character to the place. Dogs wander and live off scraps or treats you can purchase. It feels a bit like home. They don't have a kitchen so you need to order food from nearby restaurants. The beer selection is excellent and the menu includes a lot of known and obscure local brews. The staff is super friendly and very effective; they serve brews, keep the place clean and socialize with patrons. I was pleasantly surprised to find this joint. I highly recommend you get a designated driver or Uber and join in on the fun. They also have board games, in case the rest of the sports didn't appeal to you. Fun for the whole crew. read more

I've been here twice and had two different experiences, but both equally good. I went on a weeknight and it was fairly quiet, still busy, but lots of open tables/seats and no lines for beer or mini golf. Fast forward to a Saturday night, super crowded and it was still early around 8pm and we were lucky we even got a table. Some people were double fisting beers because the line was so long, and the line for mini golf even longer. The course itself is fun and small. Better to go and try it when it's not as busy, and each hole has a stand for your beers (how thoughtful). If mini golf isn't your thing, there are tons of other games. They don't have much in the way of food, but many nearby restaurants will deliver. As for the beer, love that they're all local. The tasting board is fun if you want to sample a few beers (there are a lot) and the beers can also be sold in growlers. read more

We had such a fun time hitting some balls and having drinks. I love cider but a lot of the time it's cloyingly sweet. Both options they had were dry and delicious. I can dig this place. Tons of awesome beer and cider on tap all on a TV screen so you can view how much is left in their keg, ABV, where it came from, all that good stuff! They don't exactly have food to order here other than some small munchies but from what I understand you can order pizza from next door and eat it there? The place gets crowded...and quickly. Especially at night time or during football season. It is pretty fun to watch sports here though. Dogs are allowed in...neato! Mini-golf!? Why yes, they have it! This is just what the east side needed. Someplace to get good craft beer that isn't aimed at the yacht-owning snooty crowd. The beer is 100% Washington breweries, and the taps rotate frequently. They even have one of those nifty newfangled electronic signs that tells you all the info you would ever need to know on each beer. The bartenders are rad. They give you free pretzels. They have a bunch of big screen TVs to show all the games. They provide board games to pass the time with so you don't have to awkwardly stare at your smart phone all night. AND THEY HAVE MINI GOLF! What the fuck kind of pub has mini golf? This place, that's who. It is my favorite spot here. We bought a groupon to try out the minigolf and beers and we had a fun afternoon there. The minigolf area is quite small, so I can only imagine how busy it is during the evening. There were also some board games and a game console next to the TV. The concept is fun and they have a great choice of local beers and even some great ciders. They have some menu's around from local restaurants that deliver food there, not convenient, but hey better than getting nothing to eat at all. Mini golf & beer?! Count me in! Look for signs, Flatstick can be hard to find! It's located in the basement below street level. Although it's quite spacious, the bar takes up the majority of the area and the golf course seems a tad cramped. Nevertheless, lots of fun! There are beer kegs built into the course for some added difficulty. There were about 23 different local beers on tap, 2 of which included ciders! I'm not much of a beer gal, so I was stoked there were cider options! I tried the peach cider (super yummy and super dangerous) and the spiced apple cider (a lil' sweet for my liking). However, I was a little disappointed there wasn't a snack menu available. There can be a bit of a wait on weekends, but they have fun board games & video games to keep you entertained! Went with a few friends to celebrate a birthday. It is located at a basement but is pretty spacious. They have an array of board games you could choose from. We decided to play "the battle of sexes" for a while and then started the mini golf tournament ;)). There is a half-off deal on Yelp for Mini golf, so it ended up being pretty cheap. We had loads of fun and enjoyed our time here. Drink wise, it was ok. They have plenty of beers on draft to choose from. I ordered an "Infused cider". According to the bartender, it was supposed to be infused with Vanilla, but it was far from a vanilla taste and tasted mo like root beer and I can't stand the taste of root beer. I like the large selection of beers, however it's too bad they don't serve liquor or food. The mini golf is much smaller than their downtown location, and pretty mediocre. The main reason I'm rating this 3 stars, however, is the service. It's never been great, but tonight when I went to the bathroom I left my nearly full beer and my coat at my table and came back to it gone. When I inquired about it, the bartender said yes he did take it and then lectured me that I should leave a coaster on my drink next time. When I responded that my beer was almost full, my coat was at the table, AND there wasn't any coasters at my table he pointed at the bar and said next time, get one from the bar. I thought it was pretty lame. He did, however, fill a half full beer and give it to me back so there's that... I finished it, closed out and left. I should mention he was also the person I started a tab with... anyways, with the crowds, small space and bad service I'm not sure I'm going to make it a habit to go there any longer. read more

Open 7 weeks and a solid 5 star rating? That just about says it all. Flatstick Pub is definitely the best place to be any night of the week, for two reasons: Beer and mini golf! Yep, you read that right. They have mini golf INSIDE the bar! I hear they're working on eventually making it a kid friendly spot (before 6pm) at some point, so keep checking back if you want to have a place to bring the kids to play while you enjoy a beer. In the meantime it's an awesome adult hang out and will continue to be one. The sign out front is easy to see. Just walk through the lobby that houses a few different businesses and you'll find a stairwell. This bar is street level, closer to the waterfront and underneath the other businesses. Tricky because the building is on a slope. So you're downstairs but not underground! I popped by in the afternoon one day and there was plenty of natural light coming in. Games can be completed in just under and hour and if you're hungry Molly's Salads has a special fridge here that houses fresh, daily delivered sandwiches and salads. Smart, local option! I also asked about other food in case of picky friends and as it turns out, they've got menus to 5 other nearby restaurants that will deliver. Genius! You could just eat, drink, and play your way through the night. I loved the clean decor, the growlers, the patio, and of course the mini golf course. This place is doing it right, and bringing something fun and unique to the East Side. First off: Mini-Golf. Not enough places in Seattle offer fun things to do INSIDE. Sure, it's still $6 for a round, but there are lots of deals too(free round of golf on Monday with a beer purchase, free round of golf on Tuesday with purchase of the Brewers Night taps, etc). It's 9 holes, and while some are fairly simple, others are harder, and the 6 hole was impossible. I gave up at 27. Although my friend managed to get it in 2, but I think that's because he is magical. Secondly:Beer. 24 taps. ALL WASHINGTON. Yes, every single beer or cider on tap is made in Washington. They have a map of Washington and show you where those beers are brews, and the fancy electronic signs let you know how much of any given beer is left. As soon as one tap is done, they rotate in a new selection. They have Brewer's Nights every Tuesday, and bring in 4 taps. I was there for Black Raven Brewer's night and I rarely see Black Raven beers on tap anywhere because they are so good and so hard to get your hands on. So I was super stoked when I saw their Scottish Ale on tap. Thirdly: Dog Friendly. I didn't bring my dog, but just knowing that I CAN bring my dog, means that I am more likely to visit an establishment, especially when that place also has really good beer on tap. They have sandwiches and salads available from Molly's, but you can bring in your own food too. Santorini's Greek Grill is super close, and I believe a few of the places near by will deliver you food too. Lots of good food options near by. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they really like working there. I still have a Living Social deal, so I will definitely be back. read more

Met up with a couple friends here for some good beers and mini golf. I thought the idea of this place was pretty cool, drink beer and play mini golf. The execution is pretty cool but the course is rather small. What they lack in mini golf space they make up for in beer selection! There were so many options but I was there for "Black Raven Night" where you got a free game of mini golf if you ordered a Black Raven beer. I like Black Raven Trickster IPA so it was an easy choice. They also gave you a raffle ticket for every Black Raven beer you purchased. One friend won two shirts and the other won one shirt so we all made it out of the bar with a Black Raven shirt, which was a nice bonus. My only complaint, and it's pretty minor, was that when I gave the bartender $7 cash for my $5.50 beer he didn't offer any change back. At least he said thanks. It was a fun night and I'll definitely be back to try some more of the many beers on tap and try to best my score of 35 on the mini golf course. read more

Very inexpensive.....3 people in our group played minigolf twice for 36.00. Inexpensive beers and drinks. Amazing staff who provided EXTREMEMLY attentive and polite service. Other patrons were all polite upper management men in groups. Music really programmed for 30 and 40 somethings, which is amazing. It admittedly, feels a little different, being one of five women in a room of 75.I really enjoyed playing with other guests' dogs as well as enjoying the selection of board games. A home run close to home! I cant wait to spend more time here with family and friends!! if u can avoid their trivia night, I would.
