So after 2 schools failed to provide good information on what to expect the day of my road test I was looking for an affordable course in the ozone park area. Flavors is just around my corner and my teacher (Dean Walter, he's been teaching for 27 years and been featured on TV) was engaging and hilarious, and gave me a down to earth explanation of what really goes on during the test. Karen Espenoza was my driving instructor and she couldn't be more friendly coaching me through difficulties and providing extra attention to skills she knew I'd need to pass my test. She knew each of the instructors for thr road test and told me what to expect from each one. I can't express enough how surprised I am at the price for this quality of staff at Flavors, from BB at the front desk to the comprehensive teaching nothing was left vauge before the test. Flavors driving school is an amazing school with great instructors. I took ten lessons mainly with Anisha and I have learned so much during my lessons with her . she would provide great feedback to help me fix my mistakes. She would also give great tips and tricks on perfecting my parallel parking and my turnings,she made me feel more comfortable and confident in driving overall. I also had Jordyn for one of my lessons and he helped me practice on my overall driving skills. Both instructors encouraged me whenever I doubted myself. This school is the MOST affordable driving school in my area . The instructors are very patient with their students and they attention all the areas DMV requires for you to pass your road test . The owner Keren is the so compassionate with the students. She's always willing to work with her students so they can afford to make their dreams a reality . I love Flavors! I can't imagine seeing myself at another driving school. I compared several driving schools and Flavors definitely beat the rest in price and convenience. Karen encouraged and challenged me to recognize and correct my faults. Honesty is key and their guidance helped me to become a better and more observant driver. I went here for driving school a month ago and today I just passed my road test. I got the 5 lessons package and this included everything, the 45 minute classes, the car, the appointment for your road test and the 5 hour classes. I paid $270 which is cheaper than most driving schools in the Ozone Park area which was trying to charge over $300 for the same amount of classes. My 5 hour instructor, Dean was very nice and very informative and my instructor Karen was very nice as well and improved my driving better than I knew before. This is a great driving school! Both my sister and I took lessons with the school and had a great experience. The owner Karen took us on for lessons with her personally to help us improve our driving before the upcoming test. The other instructors I had, Anisha and Justin, was also incredibly helpful and played a big part in me passing on the first try. There were some moments where there seemed to be a lack of communication between the different receptionist but over all I had a good experience.
