Absolutely wonderful! I selected DJ Ace for my wedding last week based upon his YELP reviews and I am not disappointed. From the very moment we met him and Tisha they were professional and spot on. They even have an online system which allows your guests to request songs ahead of time (don't worry Ace monitors them so your mom doesn't request 1,000 disco songs lol) I think my guests really enjoyed feeling like they were a part of the wedding before the day even came. Where to begin about the great job Dj Ace did for our wedding in February, 2016. We did our research and his reviews were exactly what we were looking for in a dj. I called him in November to book him and he answered right away. His rates were very reasonable and he thoroughly explained the services and packages he offers. His assistant Sheila took care of the details and deposit for us by paypal. Everything was confirmed via email as well as the access to their website for event details, song selection, suggestions, payment link, etc. Very easy to use and a great tool to plan the music for specific dances or parts of the reception or ceremony. I was also able to speak with Dj Ace 2 weeks before the ceremony for a few details including providing him with some traditional Greek music via dropbox for a small portion of the dancing. The day of the event went flawless. He was there early to set up, test the system, and to coordinate with the officiant. He hit every cue with our officiant and the coordinators. He had every song we requested and the sound system was fantastic. He kept the party going and was able to do that with the most diverse group of guests ever (Vietnamese, Chinese, Mexican, Greek wedding!) The guests all had nothing but great things to say including the seniors who were dancing as well! He kept the levels perfect and not too loud, but loud enough. He interacted with the guests and took all requests. If you ever need a dj for an event, I would not recommend anyone else before Dj Ace. Dj Ace is a professional at his craft and his business. Julie and I were married on 10/29/2016 at the Casino in San Clemente. It was one of the best days nights of my life and DJ ACE and his wife were the soundtrack of it. ACE was referred to me by another highly recommended DJ who had a prior commitment on the night of my wedding. I met with several DJs prior to meeting ACE, but I was sold on him almost immediately. He is a real mixing DJ, not some kid that does it part time and just puts your playlist on his laptop and then hits play at your reception. Trust me there are a lot of those out there. We got married in San Clemente and DJ ACE is in Long Beach. There are a lot of DJs between those two cities. We went with him. He and his wife do this for a living and it shows. They have a great website to manage your account, playlists, requests, etc...His wife Tisha did our photo booth which was a huge hit at the reception. ACE himself was money! played all the songs I asked for at the right times. He spoke when he needed to, but did not feel the need to be the center of attention. He reads the dance floor and plays the music based on his experience that keeps the vibe and the flow of the party moving. We had the venue until 11pm. At 11pm the dance floor was PACKED! all of the venue workers were giving him the "cut the music" signals, and I saw him look away from them and play one more song for us. There was too much energy to stop it at 11pm, and he knew that. That sealed the deal for me. I HIGHLY recommend DJ ACE and Tisha. They are good people, he is a real DJ that will give you what you want (even if you don't necessarily know what that is). A wedding DJ can make or break a reception, so do yourself a favor and meet with ACE before you make your decision. You will not be disappointed. You know how you know when the DJ was amazing? I threw a surprise 70th birthday party for my dad and hired DJ Ace for the event. I don't think five stars is a big enough compliment for the service he provided. I have been organizing our company holiday party for the past eight years. Employees have been asking for a dj and dancing for years, but we never had a space that allowed for it...until this year! When we met with him we could tell he felt the vibe of what we were looking for on the day of our "big party" (wedding) as we called it. We wanted fun and people to be exhausted when they left and their feet sore the next day from dancing! We only had limited hours to enjoy his mixes but he did a great job. I heard from other guests that the mix was so good our wedding officiant (a friend) was down on the floor bust'n some moves. Professional, fun, and EXTREMELY helpful. DJ Ace is all of these and more. His service extended to just beyond our wedding day. I asked him to create a mix for our first dance song, and he sent me two options within a day. When I asked for a shortened version, he replied with more versions. A couple days before the wedding, I realized that the processional song would be too short. DJ Ace sent me a looped version of the song and that turned out great. He arranged every special request that we had regarding music and setup, and everything turned out flawless. On the day of the wedding, he got the the venue earlier than he said he would to make sure everything was perfect. He provided the speaker system for the ceremony, and that was very smooth. For the reception, my wife and I were amazed at how great the room looked with the uplighting. DJ Ace was able to match our wedding colors with his uplighting and it made for a beautiful night. We were not very picky with the music we chose, so we left it up to the discretion of DJ Ace. He played great and appropriate music all night, and the dance floor was never empty once the party got started. April 28th, 2013~ "DJ ACE" "BEST ~DJ~ EVER"!! We found DJ Ace through a web search and after reading the reviews, we decided to have him DJ our wedding! My husband and I were "sooo" glad that we made the decision to have him there! AMAZING! Ace just did my wedding this past weekend, and I have to say that he did a flawless job! I am still getting people asking for his information. Everyone loved him! He did a great job getting the crowed going, and keeping them going. He has a way of making you feel comfortable, and relaxed. After I did my grand entrance with my husband, and we sat down, I was feeling quite overwhelmed with all the photos being taken, and people coming up to hug us. Ace was so friendly, he came over to talk with us a little, and it totally helped calm me down. He even asked us if we wanted something to drink, and brought it to us. He has a way of making you feel like he is a friend you've known for years. When I started looking for a DJ a year ago, I had spoken to three others besides Ace. Two of those were from other weddings I had been to. But Ace was the only one that answered all my questions on the phone, and even had some questions to ask me as well. Like many couples planning a wedding, we meet with A LOT of vendors and you can tell the difference between those who are genuinely interested in your event and their job and those who "play along". DJ Ace's excitement for our wedding, the knowledge as a "seasoned" DJ and the wisdom of a married man himself made him stand out. We got the ceremony and reception package with the following upgrades: Uplighting (really adds to the room), gobo, dancing on the clouds and photo booth. The uplighting adds so much pop to the room since the color can be changed to anything/anytime remotely. The gobo and dancing on the clouds adds the elegance of the event. The photo booth is hilarious and will keep your guest entertained (not to mention keep you laughing when you get all the digital files at the end). During the wedding we were able to simply enjoy our celebration. DJ Ace kept our schedule on-track, the music playing and the celebration going. We met Dj Ace at a wedding we attended in Long beach and were impressed with how he got and kept everyone on the dance floor. & when I say everyone I really mean it. He was great! And incredibly personable. So when it came to needing to hire a Dj for our own wedding he was our first and only choice!
