Also, my right bottom eyelid was swollen from the irritation to the point of touching it was painful. I have been to many massage therapists and for different kinds of body work over many years and…read morehave had treatments that have ranged from decent to amazing. And while getting a massage usually helps me a little bit to feel better and more relaxed, it usually doesn't help to address the underlying problems that continue to cause reoccurring tension, tightness and pain that I have experienced for many years. But Richard's massage was different than others. It focused on releasing trigger points which are often the cause of chronic pain, with which I sometime struggle. He is personable, a good listener and responds quickly to requests during treatment to address specific areas of discomfort and does so really effectively! I have found myself having more lasting relief after seeing him and am trying to fit more frequent sessions with him into my schedule since I can already see how more regular treatment can bring my discomfort level down on a more permanent basis.
