No groom came to the counter to greet me. I patiently waited. I could see through the crack in the door the groom answering text messages with her phone. Finally, she came to the desk. No good morning, no hello, no welcome to Shabby Chic. I said, good morning, I'm here to deliver a dog for her services. The groom looks at me, looks at the dog & states, 'You're late, her appointment was at 8am.' I explain that there must be a mistake as my dad called in advance to let her know that children need to be dropped off, so I would not be there at 8am. It all went downhill from there. This woman has a horrible attitude. Now maybe she's nice to my Dad... I don't know that, but she was rude to me. I was out of there! My point being, if you own a business, and obviously have a good customer, wouldn't you try to provide great customer service all the time? Not what you will find here...terrible customer service. Upon walking into the store, your going to feel pretty claustrophobic, since this place is very small, and the little room it does have is occupied by plants, and chairs. Its nice to know your groomer is good tho, which is apparent since she has tons of awards hung on her wall. When I first walked in, I found the only employee on site was the owner herself, which personally i found refreshing. (I love when the owners themselves help me, since its their name on whatever their selling, they usually do the best) So whenever you stop buy, It will be the owner your talking too, and the owner grooming your dog. I found from talking to her, that she used to do grooming for popular dog shows and events; which explained how she knew so much. Its appointment only, but sometimes if you walk in she'll make space for you. She had my dog all ready within hours. Her prices are pretty affordable, and considering her past experience reasonable. The facility looked nice and spacious. They have several people that work there to keep up with everything each dog needs. You don't have to bring dog food if you don't want to bc they'll provide it for your dogs. They also provide beds, blankets, or towels for your dogs as long as they don't tear everything apart. I'm really glad that there's a nice facility like this in the area that's reasonably priced compared to the other ones in the area. We'll definitely be back!

I have two large dogs, Dogo Argentinos, and my male is unfixed. It's sometimes hard to find places…read morethat will allow my dogs to come for day care. We recently moved to OK from TX and had to find a new place. We had heard good things about Animal Boarding Center on Tuttle Talk on Facebook. So we checked them out. And we are super happy with them. They are good with my dogs; they have several fenced in areas so they can let different groups of dogs out at various times for playtime. My dogs get to meet other dogs through the fence, which is good for their social interaction. They don't go often as I work from home and they spend time with me, but we like to let them have some stimulating play away from home so they can experience different sights and smells. The price is super reasonable, Kim and Ronnie are great with all the dogs, and my dogs, Taco and Bella, are always excited when we pull up out front. We love that we can see photos of their time at "camp," as we call it, the next day on FB. We will definitely keep coming back.

Recently I had a semi emergency for a cat and they were able to get me in the same day (pure luck), which kept me from having to take her to the emergency vet and rack up a high bill. In fact, I dropped her off in the am, picked her up in the pm, and before doing so Dr. Edwards called me to explain what was going on. My bill was $133 but I was truly expecting to pay upwards of $200 and could've had I taken her to an emergency clinic. All of this is to say that the staff and doc are phenomenal and I will continue to take my kitties here, even after moving north.
