Our first time here was when we had to put our sweet Jack Russell down. It was a very hard time and…read morethey were very sensitive to that. They talked us through everything and gave us as much time as we needed with him. Later, they even sent us a beautiful card with his paw and nose print. The care they gave during our grief was above and beyond.

Dr. McNeill is the best veterinarian I've ever met. She has a wealth of knowledge. She is a great…read morediagnostitian. She is empathetic and kind. She gives sound advice and never gives up. She understands allopathic, homeopathic, and naturopathic medicine. She uses integrative medicine by combining multiple techniques: osteopathic / chiropractic adjustment, acupuncture, and energy medicine (I'm unsure of the name of this). She uses a kinesiology technique, too (I'm also unsure of what this is called, but I've encountered it before. It's useful for accurate diagnosis). I have been taking my cat to Dr. McNeill for several months d/t weight loss, diarrhea, and vomiting. I had already taken my cat to 2 veterinarians, but they were allopathic. On our first visit, she performed an adjustment on my cat's lower back and pelvis. Immediately afterward, my cat stopped being scared and cowering in the carrier. My cat walked around the exam room like it was no longer an intimidating place. I've never witnessed such a transformation in any of my animals, and I've taken my fur babies to many veterinarians over the years. Plus, my cat didn't cry (like usual) on the way home. Also, my cat snuggled with her brother (actual brother, littermate) for the first time in years. Just as crazy, 1 day after the vet visit, my cat's diarrhea temporarily resolved for several weeks. Although the diarrhea has returned, I think my cat is finally seeing someone who can help. I have hope that my cat will get better. She has even gained back a little bit of weight. For some context, I am an MD. Whenever I feel like allopathic medicine is failing one of my pets, I will definitely bring them to Dr. McNeill. She's worth it. She listens to my concerns.... and my cat's concerns. Whereas allopathic vets would say that there's nothing more they could do for my pet, Dr. McNeill does not seem fatigued or defeated. She develops a plan of action. One thing to note: They have a policy of collecting partial payment before the 1st visit. I thought this was unusual. Luckily, Dr. McNeill came highly recommended to me, so I felt comfortable paying it. I recommend Dr. McNeill without hesitation.

We also mentioned the situation and breed of the dog when scheduling the appointment. Our dog was extremely nervous at the small clinic that everyone in the business can hear, we were a few minutes early. When we were called back, the Doctor tried to settle him by attaching him with a thin leash to a scale. The Doctor, after taking the weight of our Mastiff, said that our dog needed to take a tranquilizer two hours in advance and that the clinic was going to close in less than half an hour. When we asked why we learned this now, the Doctor asked why we were being "So confrontational". We understand we were in the wrong for taking this large, nervous, dog in the clinic before our appointment. This action does not excuse the unprofessional performance by the Doctor. He did not understand why we were there in the first place, and did not prepare for a dog of our size as we said in our scheduling phone call. When confronted, he was not happy to give a proper explanation or any explanation at all. This prolonged the fear in our Mastiff, put our other dogs at risk, and arguably did more harm than just putting the dog down ourselves.

She called a few days later because he wasn't getting better. They said they didn't have time to see him. She called back again begging to bring him in for a follow-up. The doctor refused again. What kind of animal doctor does such a thing? Not one I would take my pet to. Needless to say she ended up having to put her beloved cat to sleep. Neither of us will be using him again,

I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of customer service and basic compassion at this clinic…read more I had an appointment scheduled for 4:30 PM for my dog who needed urgent care. Because I live 30 minutes away and had to rush home to get my dog during peak rush hour traffic, I proactively called ahead to let them know I was running late. Instead of showing any understanding for a working person trying to get medical attention for their pet, they were completely rigid. They strictly enforced a "grace window" policy, entirely dismissing the fact that they still had a full hour left before closing at 6:00 PM. To make matters worse, when we called to ask about payment options, the staff treated my wife with an absolute lack of respect. Their only solutions were entirely unrealistic for the average working person. They flippantly told me to just "reschedule" (which isn't easy when you work until 5:30 PM every day) or suggested I drop my dog off at 7:30 AM and leave her there until 6:00 PM. Why would I trust an establishment to watch my dog all day when they've already made it clear they don't care enough to do what they can to see her? This place operates like a rigid corporate machine, not a veterinary clinic that cares about animals or the people who love them. If you work a regular job or expect to be treated with basic respect and empathy during a stressful time with your pet, look elsewhere. They clearly do not care.
