We were there for a difficult situation and everyone involved absolutely made sure the process was as comfortable as it can be. They listened to our concerns. Explained everything in detail. Gave us room to make decisions. They didn't pressure or rush us. It was truly a collaborative effort and breath of fresh air. No arrogance, no condescension, no belittling, no interruptions. Amazing bad side manner. Even the staff went above and beyond. As a person with complicated health problems who has had traumatic experiences with arrogant doctors, I can say I was pleasantly surprised with our experience. Not being aware that Sepsis in 2019 had contributed to declining physical and emotional health, I was finally diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in late 2025. The decision was made to move to Assisted Living. What I did not know was that the Executive Director, Jonathan Fetsko, and my brother made the decision that a minimal amount of my personal effects would be moved to the new apartment because what I had in the original would be overwhelming! Hair brushes, hand vacuums, etc.... The list goes on! I feel like I am being held hostage by the vagaries of the individuals involved. Hitler was the last century. An Addendum: I thought I had reached an understanding with Fetsko that I would be able to give a friend of mine the remainder of my personal belongings that would not be allowed in Assisted Living only to find there was no guarantee that they would still be there!!!!! I'm still waiting for Housekeeping to clean my apartment, wash my laundry, etc. which was due yesterday.

Early 2026: 2nd Floor: poor patient care, heartless, unconcerning staff!!!!…read more THE only reason I give this a 1 star is because there was 1 ( only 1!) staff person that was helpful! Her name was Rose, and when we mentioned how helpful she was, all of a sudden she disappeared from the 2nd floor!!!!! Not to mention race, but Rose was Hispanic, and the majority of other nurses were of African descent. It seemed the "majority " stuck up for ( or covered) for each other. I had a near friend here for rehab, she stayed for a couple of months ~ the care was horrible!! They do not have Safety Side Bed Rails! What rehab place doesn't have side rails on their beds??!! My friend had lost all strength in her legs, when I requested assistance from the nurses station in moving her from the bed to her chair~ I never, NEVER received any!! Multiple times, on different occasions, I requested help, waited hours, ( my entire visit), no one would come. On my way out I mentioned my frustrations...I just received a stare! No " we apologize", just a look of " oh, well.....a "We could care less look!!! ". Once when requesting assistance from the nurses station, all 3 staff members who were present, turned their heads away, even the SOCIAL WORKER made a snarky comment saying " I'm not dealing with her!". I would sometimes call ahead, to ensure they had my friend up & dressed before I, and/or, other visitors arrived. They would LIE and say she was up, and two hours later when I arrived, they would still (or just!) be getting her ready! I normally arrived about 1pm, and I'd have to wait for an hour or longer for Her to be dressed. My friend left here with MAJOR BED SOARS that developed on her buttocks. It took medication, and months, fot this to clear up! Dont be deceived by the beautiful lobby entrance, or the layer out Physical Therapy room on the first floor, because that' s where the customer care ends!! The receptionist, Rhonda, is welcoming & a sweetheart, but that's where any customer care ENDS!!! Please think twice before you make an important decision for your loved one!
