It's not very often, especially these days, you can go into a retail store & not only get the help you need, but actually feel appreciated. Bought these Under ArmourBASE yesterday because they were on sale for 25% off. They are rarely on sale and I rely on them all winter. Except I didn't get them Friday 25% off because apparently Mills bumps up the actual price! The box has their orange sticker with the price $100; so I paid $75 For a top and bottom. Got home and took them out of the box to wash and the attached stickers had them priced at $80!!! WTF Mills? What else do you inflate and then put on sale!!?!? see attached pics. read more

Some add-ons here...their expensive car wash is great and works like a champ. Super delighted to have the bugs off the front of the ride so the many, many yellowjackets in the area could finally stop chasing me around. The gas station was also ok, though someone kept talking through the speakers, which relayed the voices in a manner completely impossible to actually understand. Am tempted to give this a bump for that tasty car wash, but I don't like shopping there particularly and the incessant voices over the PA was annoying. read more

It's all cheap garbage brands that you've never heard of, or between 50% to twice as expensive as ordering from Amazon. Why anybody shops here in the 21st century is a mystery to me. There's nothing inherently wrong with the store. It's clean, people are friendly, etc. But it's also just kind of... weird. It's the evidence that Fargo is still a small, agricultural town at heart, despite cosmopolitan offerings downtown. When my wife and I were house shopping we saw a lot of home "improvement" projects done as cheaply as possible rather than done right, and that's what Fleet Farm reminds me of. The products are either overpriced or reek of the "Meh, good enough" level of quality that pervades this town's planning. Also, I've never seen more hunting and fishing DVDs in one place. LOL. I still can't help but like it, because they really do have a little bit of EVERYTHING. Clothing, power tools, automotive, sporting goods, home improvement (like Home Depot materials), feed for livestock... If somebody really did live out in the middle of nowhere, I can see how a Fleet Farm would literally be everything to them. I want to be nostalgic for simpler days and country living... But I just can't. I'm a firm believer in the adage "Buy once, cry once". Or if you prefer, "Buy nice or buy twice". The only way to really save money here is to buy no-name junk that you'll be replacing, and end up spending more. The name brand stuff that can be trusted can be had for less from other vendors. Fleet Farm is kind of cool as a time machine to the past, but not as a real store. read more

Stopped here on Black Friday. My first time visiting Mills here in Fargo. I frequented the mills fleet farm in Duluth when we lived there and the staff was friendly, helpful and the store was clean and perfectly stocked. It was also less than a year old. This Mills, on back Friday, seemed worn down and the layout seems a little off. The staff was expectedly tired as all the shoppers for black Friday were out. It's location is a little off the beaten path of Fargo and if you didn't come from the south you probably wouldn't know it was there. Overall the prices are decent and the back Friday deals were very good. read more

I'm only giving 5 stars to the lady who helped my girlfriend and i. mikayla was her name. we were looking for potting soil, we weren't familiar with where to find it because we usually buy it at the plant store downtown. the kind lady asked if we needed help and we said yes. she asked what we were looking for and we told her. she brought us to this kiosk machine and typed in the numbers for the soil. it wasn't there. she told us she could check one more spot and that was on her work phone where she looked it up to show that there was some outside in the lawn and garden area. she wrote down what we needed and how much and told us to bring it to the tills. we got up to the till where debbie was. we handed her the paper and right off the bat she was disrespectful. she assumed there wasn't any soil and that it was mikayla's fault and she didn't want to "waste our time" by going out there and looking. i said to her, "she took time to stop and ask if we needed help and then proceeded to actually help us." she said to us that there was only two left and so she then called her manager over where she complained of mikayla not knowing for sure if there was any soil. the manager told her there was soil. we then went out to get the soil just to see that there was 48 bags of the soil!! it hurt me to see her act this way in front of us and to treat her coworker like that. especially when she was the one who took time to help us?? i assume she hates on mikayla because when we said who it was she rolled her eyes. i hope she understands how disgusting her actions were. read more

Worst store very. Purchased an air conditioner online to pick up in store and they cancelled my order. They said they released my money but in fact my bank shows it's on a hold from there. DON'T BUY anything ONLINE from this store they cancel you and then claim they released the funds. Can't even purchase the air conditioner now due to their crappy customer services. This place is only getting 1star because they have a decent prices. But if you're looking for any kind of layout that makes sense be prepared to be confused. We could deal with the layout what we couldn't deal with was the extremely rude and unhelpful workers. We asked a worker if they carried storm doors. She just made a loud sigh sound and had a "ugh!" Attitude. And told us "yeah a few they're over that way" and kind of nodded her head in the direction. After that welcoming service we then headed to check out and the cashier had the same kind of Attitude. UPDATED FROM THE REVIEW ABOVE: It only gets worse...asked for keys to be made for my car(I did call ahead to make sure they provided the service). Well it turns out they had everything you need to get car keys made, even the ones with the chip. But it turns out they don't have any employees who know how to work the machine. After waiting for 30 minutes and going through 4 employees we gave up. We(myself and my 2 kids)said Thank You and and the employees just looked at us irritated and not saying anything in response. I will say that the one star was for the manager I spoke to about the service he seemed nice and apologized. So if you like getting lost and treated like crap then you should give it a try, if not just go somewhere else until they have their employees trained in customer service. read more

I'll start with 2 stars. The store has a good selection products to choose from. Stay away from automotive good and services. I took tires into be pro-rated for premature wear. They said the tire were not aligned and wouldn't even discuss anything more. Second, they sold my son a bad battery and wouldn't warranty it out. I will not be buying automotive goods from them anymore. Buyer beware here. read more

Cody in the tire shop was amazing!!!! His knowledge and advice was wonderful. I had my four year old and my ride was late so we spent two hours in the waiting area and they were nice to my kid. All the staff made it a point to say hi. Cody though specifically stated ten minutes late so that I can pick my car up and help another friend get her services set up. read more

Stopped in on a Thursday morning at 9am to see about having my tires balanced and was told they couldn't do it that they had no appointments until Sunday yet just about every bay was empty!!! So something that would have been a very quick and easy job they refused to do. The girl at the desk was rude as hell and had an I don't give a f**k attitude. read more

We were traveling with our 5th wheel camper through Fargo, ND and stopped to get diesel - they had the cheapest price! As it was evening we were looking for a place to park for the night. I called and asked for a manager and was connected to Steve, who was very friendly, and asked if we could stay the night in the parking lot. After assuring him it was only for one night, he directed me to where to park. We used to live in Wisconsin and shopped at Fleet Farm frequently, and missed the experience. We spent about an hour in the store picking up a few things. The clerks were all very nice and we were frequently asked if we needed any assistance. We greatly appreciated being allowed to park overnight. read more

The amount of time I've spent sitting on hold, given half answers, and having to deal with people not knowing half the things that are going on back there is absurd. No one returns calls, you have to basically hope to god you get someone who decides to actually GET UP and see why after an hour on hold, no one is bothering to pick up the phone. That is poor service, for what you guys charge, pick up the phone to actually get customers. I'm discouraging any and every single person I know from using Fleet Farm's Auto Services. Our family blew out a tire somewhere west of Bismarck. There wasn't a tire place in the city that had both the trailer tire and rim we needed. On recommendation we called MFF in Fargo and they did. They set aside the tire and held it for us while we made the 3 hr trip w/o a spare. When we got there the tire was waiting for us. They took back our blown tire and filled up the new one. Was one of my favorite places to shop. Has a little bit of everything but customer service is definitely on the decline. I had some questions on items in sporting goods but there was not one CSR to be found in the whole department. Against my better judgement I bought it anyway. Took it home but couldn't get any of it to fit. Returned it all and went to Sheels. Surprisingly was able to buy it for 20 dollars less than I had paid at FF. read more

The store is fine, however I recently got my oil changed at their service center. It took them a mere 20 minutes to change my oil, which is great. However, I sat there for another 30 minutes for no apparent reason. I watched them drive my car out of the garage at the 20 minute mark. I was given the car back and drove away. The next day I noticed I was smelling some sort of fluid when I had my heater on. I checked under the hood and realized they didn't put the cap back on my oil reservoir. Luckily it was still sitting on top of the engine. I can go almost anywhere else in town for the $32 they charged me and get my oil changed...which is what I will be doing in the future. First the AUTO Service Dept: I made an appointment for: 1. New tires 2. New muffler When I arrived, they pulled out a paper with my appointment and told me it was only for the muffler, but they couldn't actually replace the muffler today, they could only do a mandatory 'exhaust check' then I could make another appointment for the muffler replacement. Tires would also require returning another day. I ended up going to immediately to Walmart and getting the tires the same day with about a 1 hour wait time. I still need a muffler. Maybe a fluke mis-communication, but I think i'll just use Walmart for tires in the future since it's much closer to my home. To be fair I should include the store as a whole in my rating, Store as a whole: It's big and has a lot of stuff. I usually go there to look at tools. This brings the rating up from 2 to 3. read more

I made an appointment for a oil change and tire rotation. All details were worked out. When I arrived another clerk Penny tried to change the details of the appointment telling me they did not carry the products I requested. I had previously checked to ensure the products were in stock. After I convinced Penny to research the requested products she found they were in stock. I departed and returned later to be notified my car was damaged during the tire rotation, a stud was stripped. I had all new brake hardware and studs installed in San Diego prior to my trip to Fargo. Penny told me it was due to worn out hardware on my car and the installer was not at fault. Penny told me it would cost me $36 for the repair. I contacted the store manager and she also refused to accept her installer made a mistake. After I insisted on the store making the situation right, she said she would cover half of the repair. Since that was all that was being offered I accepted and left after everything was completed. It is sad as a customer I had more knowledge about the store and it's products than an employee. It is also sad that the store would not make the situation right. I also sent a complaint to Fleet Farms Coorporate and it went unanswered. It appears the lack of customer service goes right to the top. I will not set foot in any Fleet Farms Store in the future. Do not trust your vehicle to Fleet Farms service department. read more
