What an awesome operation. We were in to have guidance on the best footwear for our feet. Laura assisted us and was very patient in allowing us to try out many of the different options they have. They first complete a diagnosis of your feet and then develop an insole. to provide you the best for your foot health and comfort in footwear. Toby, the Owner operator and co-Associates at this Fleetfoot was quite informative and accommodating as well. You owe it to your Foote health to make this a must visit in Soho. The store is just across the street from where a lot of exterior construction is occurring. This construction is not affecting the store hours or operation. There is plenty of parking in the parking deck or at the outside parking lot beside Target. You will rarely find parking that's right on the street. read more

I only started running about a 1 year ago, and my first pair of shoes were a gift, so this was my first time shopping for running shoes. I heard about fleet feet from a friend who liked the fit id scanning process where they analyze the shape of your feet and the way you walk to find the best fitting shoe for you. I brought in my old pair of shoes (Brooks ghost) for comparison and after she scanned my feet, the staff member brought me one shoe option that was basically the newer version of my old shoes. It fit very well and felt very smooth to walk/jog in, but the arch felt a bit low. The new one was $140 which was just within my budget of $150. Because the arch felt a bit low, I also tried out some sole inserts and really liked how soft yet sturdy they felt. They are around $50 and meant to last through 2 pairs of shoes so honestly more worthwhile in my opinion. I needed new shoes at this point but couldn't afford to get both the new insert and shoes, so I ended up getting the shoes as well as a pair of thick comfy socks ($15), so that I could get some cushioning for my feet (plus a $15 reward for spending $150). However the reward didn't go through when I checked my account, so I will be calling tomorrow to make sure the points get added. They sell a lot of other products from running shorts, shirts, nutritional gummies, plantar fasciitis massage balls, massage tools, etc, but the clothes looked overpriced to me ($90 for leggings, $40 for shorts). The lady who helped me was very sweet, friendly, and pretty knowledgeable with answering my questions. She didn't ask about my price range or budget though, so I had to bring it up. Definitely have an idea of what you're looking for or you might end up spending more than you planned! read more

I was in this plaza for some job training when I spotted Fleet Feet. I'm a nurse and I'm on my feet for hours on end. The nike sneakers really weren't cutting it anymore and I needed new running shoes anyways so I decided to check them out. This store is awesome because they have a lot of running gear aside from clothing- shoes, socks, snacks etc. The staff was really nice and very helpful. They did an analysis of my feet and watched me walk back and forth on this mat to assess what kind of shoe would be best for me. They brought out multiple shoes for me to try on based on my feet, and gave suggestions based on what I needed. I ended up choosing a pair of On Clouds for work + running. So far, these shoes have saved my back at work! Definitely coming back to this store when I need new ones because they're incredibly helpful ! read more

Visited this business while on travel for work and needing some new quality tennis shoes. I was greeted by 3 employees before I made it halfway into the store. Immediately felt welcome and comfortable Unlike some other high-end running stores that can be snooty and seem disinterested in "outsiders" that aren't part of their click or running community. The young man that helped me was very generous in explaining how all the hardware and software mapping my feet worked - which was a plus for me as a nerdy engineer. Really you will love this store if you are a runner. Otherwise, you may wanna skip this location. It's a runner focused store, and all their products are pretty much geared at that theme. They have tons of running shoe options, and are able to order some in for you if they don't have your size / preference. The staff is really nice and helpful. Being runners themselves, really helps them to understand the needs and wants of avid runners. I am working my way back into half marathon shape by the end of the year, with a goal to run one on my birthday, like I have the past four years. With their understanding of running, they are able to give good advice on building endurance while also staying healthy. This is also a popular spot for marathon races to have their bib pickups. I've had several races that this is the spot to grab your stuff. Which is smart, since they sell the things you'll need to make it through the race. I'm not a runner but I walk a LOT of miles every week. This store is great for walkers, too! This week I visited Fleet Feet for my first time, with my husband who had been there once before and raved about it, and he was right about what a wonderful experience the store provided. I had an appointment for 6:00 and while I ended up not being helped until closer to 6:30, it was worth the wait. Larry helped me every step of the way and was so knowledgable and kind. He was also very patient as I must have tried 6 different pairs of shoes. I learned that I've been wearing the wrong shoe size! Although I had no feet complaints, he helped me figure out what would work even better for me. You really get the Cinderella treatment as they put the shoes on you and take them off. While the shoes are pricey, I think it's important to invest in shoes that are higher quality and will not only last, but will keep you healthier because they fit right. I will be back! read more

The staff at this store is extremely helpful and really seem interested in putting you in the right shoe. They asked a number of questions and definitely listened when I shared my experiences with previous shoes. I never felt pressured to buy anything but I did feel that they were genuinely trying to figuring out what shoe would work best for me. They are knowledgable about the various makes of shoes and what makes them different (and also seem to have personally tried a lot of them). I went to fleet feet looking to find someone who knew about running shoes, would analyze my gait and feet, and provide me with exactly what I needed, and that's what I got, plus education on shoes and feet, and one of the warmest, nicest customer service reps I've ever spoken with. The shoes they recommended me are night and day better than what I was running in prior and after purchase, I compared their prices to amazon and they are exactly the same. Fleet Feet was recommended to me by many of my co workers who have foot problems and need to have the right running shoe for their challenge. In the past, I just bought shoes at the outlet or mall. My podiatrist told me to buy a certain brand over a certain number but I found out the numbers change each year so that might not be the best method. Getting a pair of shoes that fit properly is very important and the staff at Fleet Feet impressed me with their knowledge and friendliness. I went with a co worker one day after work and Grace was working in the store along with another woman. I explained my current challenge with my feet, legs and back... talked about where I wear my sneakers.... my physical activities, etc. She then recorded my walk using a iPad and showed me how my walk was effecting my back. Lucky my ankles did not roll in as much as I thought they had and she was able to narrow my sneaker selection down to 10 different types. I tried on each one and walked. We looked at how my pattern improved or got worse. I know my podiatrist wanted me to invest in inserts for my arch but Grace showed me 'Super Feet' inserts which do the same thing for a fraction of the cost. After almost an hour and a half, I found just the right sneakers that felt great and I could already feel the difference in my back and legs. The only challenge was I did not like the color (grey... blah!) and asked if this model came in any other color. Lucky for me, it did come in a fun blue with neon green... but she did not have my size in stock. I felt bad that I wanted this colorful sneaker but might walk out without buying something. Grace came to the rescue and said that they could order the color I wanted and just have it shipped to my home for no extra shipping fee! I might have to wait a few days for the order to arrive but I would be getting what I wanted and they got a sale. The whole experience was very nice. Grace took the time to help me find the right shoe for my challenge and lifestyle. Even the other sales woman joined in and was able to help me choose the right one. Now granted, these sneakers cost about a third more than I would normally spend on running shoes but it was worth it. I do recommend Fleet Feet Sports if you are a runner and want sneakers properly fit. I am not a runner but used to walk many miles each week. My son needed some running shoes for his first track season of high school. I heard from some friends that Fleet Feet performs an analysis of the feet and running style to find the right shoe so I figured it was a good place to start. From the moment we walked in the door, they treated my kid like he was a top level athlete. Analyzed his feet, the way he walked and how his feet touch the ground. In minutes they had a full diagnostic display on a computer that blew us away. They then were able to suggest shoes based on this and brought out six or seven options for him to try. Not only was the associate knowledgeable about the shoes, he was also a former collegiate track athlete so he was able to understand what my kid needed. Overall, the experience was way above what we expected and will surely be back for our next pair. read more

Two words: CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've been to this location a few times now, since it's so close to home. Everyone I've encountered has been so nice, friendly, knowledgeable. No pressure to buy if you are just looking, but they do know their stuff and answer questions. No snootiness that I sometimes encounter at other running stores. Questions answered. I could go on and on. But then, they did something that has me singing their praises even more. I had bought a shirt from the Savannah Fleet Feet's booth at a race expo out of town, and by the time I realized the fit was off their store closed before I could return it. I figured since they have stores here in town I could make my return when I got home, but also understood since it was bought at an expo it was possible they wouldn't be able to help me. I ran in not long before they were closing (I hate being THAT customer, I've worked retail on and off through the years so I know how much it sucks to end the day with a return), and they weren't sure how to process the return since I did not have a regular receipt, so they called another store, who instructed them to call the Savannah store. I figured they would just tell me to take it up with Savannah, which would have been perfectly fine, but they called, and my return was processed over the phone, along with the Orlando store taking care of shipping the shirt back to Savannah, since they do not carry it in their store. Ive bought two running shoes from this store, the staff are very helpful with finding the best sneaker that accommodates your needs. They let you explain what type of shoe you are looking for, can let them know what exactly you are training for or how often you train and they'll give you options. I usually only have to buy one pair of running shoes a yr so don't let their prices deter you, they have deals and their merchandise last for what they sell for. Look out for their running community events such as weekly yoga for runners, and pub runs...youll get a chance to try some of their running gear while meeting other cool runners in the community. read more

The customer service here is amazing. If you're looking to get into running, I really recommend that you get properly fitted for a pair of shoes. The staff at Fleet Feet are more than capable at doing this, just make sure that you set aside a little bit of time and wear some comfortable clothes that you don't mind jogging in. After severe pain during my last few runs, I finally decided needed a proper pair of running shoes. I go in to get fitted thinking it would be a pretty simple process, but I was proven wrong. Quick breakdown: Foot measured sitting and standing, jog in front of the store so staff can see how you run, describe how the shoe feels, try on more shoes and jog more until you have a pair that feels good. Done? Maybe. If your foot is like mine you might need an insert. The whole time there is a good amount of communication between me and the employee who was helping me. What feels good? What doesn't? Is my foot rolling? Is my leg swinging out as I run? All of this is important. The employees also run so they can give you tips on things you can do before, during, and after a run, going as far to not only demonstrate something but to have you do it as well. I can guarantee that if I need more things for running, I'll be coming back here. read more

Chris is awesome!!!! This is an excellent store with excellent staff who really care more about you than your money. I tried fit2run because they were closer and didn't even make it through the process because they were too pushy. At fleet feet however, extra time and care in explaining and listening to your needs. I in NO way felt rushed or pressured and was very comfortable and allowed to try out running in different shoes, insoles, and socks. I was eventually fitted with what has now become the perfect shoe and insoles for running and training. Whether you are new or old to running this is a place that can truly relate to you because this staff runs bigger events than just 5ks(ref fit2run). This was my first experience at a Fleet Feet location and it was a good one! I had never been to the original location in Altamonte but when I heard that one was opening in SODO, I made a point to stop in on a recent visit in the area. As soon as I walked in, Kelley immediately greeted me and made me feel at ease. I was in the market for some compression socks so she walked me through the brands that they carry and what she personally recommended (yep, she's a runner too). She measured my calves , then gave me a mini tutorial on the best way to put these socks on. Sounds silly but I'm so glad she did because I probably would've given up after the first try! I was also in the market for a new sports bra for an upcoming race and since I had lost some weight I went ahead and had her measure me (in the privacy of a fitting room). After getting my measurements, she entered them into a handy app on her Ipad which spurts out some sizes to try. She pulled a few styles by Moving Comfort for me to try and checked on me often. I ended up going with a newer style I had never tried before and probably wouldn't have if she didn't pull for me. So I appreciated that. She did also show me some products for hydration and informed me of the importance of doing so for long runs. It was nice to get advice from someone who actually runs. Yet there was no pushy salesy vibe here. This location is small and probably doesn't have the amount of selection and traffic that the Altamonte store has. But if you're looking for your basics and some great, one on one assistance I would recommend checking this location out.
