On the hunt for a new pair of running shoes for an upcoming half marathon. The pair I wanted was pretty much sold out at most places I looked. However they were in stock here and since I was running in Orlando... I called the store and spoke with Kimberly who told me they were in stock and would hold them until I arrived in 5 days later. When I arrived I was met by a very upbeat Beth, to her I was picking up some shoes. Without asking who I was, pulled out the shoes from underneath the counter. They have a tread mill so I could try the shoes while I ran. Besides the shoes I bought, there were plenty of other shoes from Saucony, Hoka, New Balance, and On Cloud. Plus running apparel, socks, & energy products. It's a great little shop that's upbeat and friendly. If my needs and travel meet in the Orlando area I'll be back. Excellent service! I admit I never went in here because I thought it was just for athletes. I have a big trip coming up where I'll need sturdy walking sandals and after many attempts online, I decided I needed to go in and get properly fitted. When I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming. They took their time with me. I was there about 45 minutes trying on different shoes and walking around. They keep the store super tidy, and I appreciate that they even clean the shoes you try on before putting them back on the floor. I left with 2 pairs of new walking sandals, and my feet are so very happy! I will return for my next pair of tennis shoes because they had a great variety. Prices are high but reasonable -- but you are paying for high quality shoes. I will definitely continue to go here for my shoe needs (and if I ever need other athletic accessories!) read more

There's something about buying local and supporting local businesses that I love. The owner, Kevin is a great guy and his staff does an even better job with customer service and making sure everyone is taken care of. Even though the layout of the store is 'small' they have a plethora of inventory available and a ton of sizes. I needed a new pair of running shoes and Kevin was quick to help me get sized and find a pair that fits my feet and needs (More cushion baby) I definitely recommend coming here instead of going somewhere like famous footwear or another retail store. read more

I don't ever write reviews, but I have never felt so devalued as a customer, especially as a return customer. I was honest and told the employee that I just wanted to try on a pair of shoes as I can get it online at a much greater discount. Another employee who was not helping me spoke up and said, "we are a business that sells things and we are not going to waste our time and effort on someone who is not going to buy from us." I will never return to the clermont location again, and as a healthcare worker who works with runners I will never refer another patient to the clermont location. Excellent service! I was at the downtown Clermont location. I was diagnosed with morton's neuroma a few years back and I was desperately in search for a good pair of sneaker's. Annette was very helpful, knowledgeable, and very professional. She brought a few different pairs of sneakers out and had me try them. I chose a pair and I have been using it for about two weeks now. These shoes and other products can be bought at other nearby stores. But they don't get it. We bought 2 pairs of shoes and 2 different sales persons told we could take them home and return them if we were not satisfied. They were good shoes but did not fit our needs. We took them back the next day. We were told we would get a store credit, not a refund, as we asked for. We were not informed of that policy at the time of sale. NOT AT ALL! We were told that we should have read the receipt. REALLY? This is a very bad way to run business. We try to support local small businesses. But not this one! AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Badly handled. I brought in my old shoes for reference and within minutes, I had the correct shoe for my feet and my running style.
