HOW A KIND GESTURE IMPACTED ST.JUDE'S CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. - Savona Kitchen and Bath - Amazing…read more If you read one review - I hope it is this one. Last year, I stopped in Savona Sales - we looked at a few options but did not buy. After shopping around for the best price and product, we chose to give them another shot. I got to work with Sabri, one of the managers. He made the entire experience so stress free and easy. He immediately took my appointment, created a layout, showed me options based on price and quality and did not play any games with the specs. We ended up coming to a great price and product agreement for J&K Cabinetry. Three weeks later everything was delivered and my contractor installed it. Upon install, we saw that the trash pull out was missing. I called Sabri and he immediately ordered it and provided me a credit of $150.00 for the labor to install. This was generous and appreciated, but here is where the magic happened. We wanted to use the credit to purchase a few extra panels, but due to shipping and other costs it did not work out. I suggested that Sabri perhaps take that credit and make a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital as a way to do good in the world. Not only did Sabri do this that day, he sent me a copy of the receipt with my name on it validating the donation. This was an amazing act of generosity. So many people just want to make a sale and move on. The care that Sabri and Savona took is amazing and inspiring. For your next kitchen and bath design, don't waste your time shopping around - Just go to Sabri and make it happen. P.S. Our Kitchen Came Out Amazing

During this process, Sabri and his associates were very thorough with every detail. They provided us with multiple ideas, design improvements, and money-saving tips, whenever possible. They provided me a very clear picture of the process from start to finish. After the initial sale, they followed up on the delivery of the cabinets and made sure everything was installed correctly. I can honestly say that they helped us 110% to complete this project. I went ahead and purchased all our bathroom cabinets, tiles, and countertops from them. If you are in the market for any type of home improvement, I suggest you should stop by Savona and meet with Sabri before you make any decisions. I highly recommend them.

I agree with the other review of 1 star. Kevin Hall does not do what he promises. I think he is…read morejust terrible. I hired him to replace an old wood deck. He did not replace the whole deck. He left in place the original foundation to the deck. I only noticed this after the job, the posts where the deck meets the ground were rotting. He should have dug out the old posts and put in footers which is standard practice now. It looks like he used scrap wood from another job. The handrail that covers just 3 steps instead of being one continuous piece of wood was two pieces stuck together. When the job was finished he did not clean up the construction debris left behind. I also hired him to replace the railing of my front porch, which he said was a safety hazard as it could fall over. He never replaced that. As I have to have this work redone, it's terrible value for your money.

He said he only takes one job at a time which I find hard to believe since he left after lunch most days and had his younger helper working putting the deck together. His younger helper was the one who did most of the work which is interesting because we hired Kevin to do the work, not his younger helper. We used Timbertech material which was a challenge for Kevin. The boards were not spaced properly even using the fasteners. Some are closer together and some have more space. He said that the temperature changes expands and contracts the boards which is true but he left too much space in between that it doesn't look right. The fascia board used on our steps is bowing which he redid once already. We had to wait for him to order extra material which was weeks. I look out on my deck and all I can see is rippling across all the deck boards. I feel like I need to hire someone who knows what they're doing to come and fix all of his mistakes.

It is with great enthusiasm that I write a review about Monk's Home Improvement. After being highly…read morerecommended to use Monk's services by a family member six years ago for their superior painting and home renovation skills, I instantly felt confident about their reliability and trustworthiness by the level of knowledge and communication (by the in-house team as well as the in-the-field team) all throughout the bathroom painting and sink/countertop replacement project. I would absolutely recommend Monk's for home renovations of all shapes and sizes. Monk's is the only place that I would turn to for any type of home remodeling project. Since the original work, I continue to use Monk's from projects small to large, such as backsplash replacement to casement window and door replacement to laundry room renovation with design, as well as a gut primary bathroom renovation and design. After all of the work was completed, I literally was blown away by the skill level and professionalism on every aspect of the job -- not only from the contractors who performed the work (Diego, Mainor, and Maurico), but also Maria, the talented Estimator; Nelson and Jim, the superior Project Managers; Denise, Casey, and Cortney, the amazing Designers; Mike, Windows & Doors Expert; as well as Kathy, the lovely Front Desk contact at the Morristown Showroom.

They refinished and stained the floors, redid all the paint throughout the house (inside and out), replaced all the windows so that they actually open and close, let's see... there was more, but it's been so long! I haven't had to retouch anything in many years, and I am now consulting with them for more improvements. Very professional and open, honest, and looking to help you find your balance of value and quality. They are my first choice to come back to any time I have work to do - I note they don't do _everything_ I'm looking for (they'll redo my deck but not the walkway leading to it?), but for what they do, I trust them 100%.
