Had a scheduled appointment and I waited around for 30 minutes- business was a no-show. I called…read morethe business- no answer, left a message to find out where they were. No call back but recovers an "email" back later that night, saying they were caught up with another project. Explained to them how unprofessional it was and how this inconvenienced me and all they had to do was stay in contact and communicate their inability to keep their appointment but apparently, that is not important to them or earning potential business. Apologies after the fact don't mean much- especially when a potential customer has to hunt you down to find out why you didn't show to a scheduled appointment, and then you don't return their call- you email them. Seriously unprofessional.

My Mom's 1960's ranch house has had water issues since I was a child. She was fiercely independent…read moreand never wanted her children to help manage the house up until a few years ago. Her basement was a mess! Beyond it being filled with decades of stuff, the walls were "weeping" and a large puddle was forming in one portion of her basement. John did a walk-through with me and thoroughly explained what was occurring. I signed the estimate, which kindly included him and his staff moving all the "stuff" away from the walls to the center of the basement. H-U-G-E task. Before the job started we hit an unexpected bump in the road (the removal of some asbestos floor tiling, which NYS required licensed professionals to handle). John calmly walked me through the process and was able to work with me and my timeline. All throughout the project John would update me, even sending me pics, when I was not able to get over to Mom's house. He was honest about his abilities, and took the time to meet with me and answer questions after the project was completed and paid for. I found John and his company to be trustworthy and reliable and only wish they did home renovation so I could hire them to do work in my house.

We recently had Frank's Basement make a basement repair. The work crew, led by Eric did a great…read morejob. The crew was professional and courteous. They prepared the site to ensure dust and debris was kept to a minimum and cleaned up the site upon completion of their work. After work was completed, Eric explained what they did and answered any question I had. I would highly recommend Frank's Basements to any individual needing similar work done.

Also no clean out on that wall. I'm told the sump is the low point. Hard to get water in when it's built up higher than the floor level. I have water lines that need draining before winter and it goes onto the floor and it pools up nowhere near a "clean out". If it's only a "clean out " why is it sloped downward? I guess that explains why its at a point the water doesn't go to. Not a drain. Grr. Also my water intrusion shot right past the bright wall and created a pond nowhere near a "clean out " coincidentally the area the water pulls up at is where the drain used to be before they removed it. Also, during the recent heavy rain for days, if you look in the inspection, clean out port, there is no water flowing. It does not follow the drain tile. It's beneath it. Their solution to water pond in the low area was to build a dam to prevent
