On Kauai with our three young children, who proved to be quite uncooperative during our session. My…read morehusband and I found ourselves feeling quite exhausted by the experience that I shouldn't have booked so late in the day with small children. However, when we received the photos from our session just 24 hours later, we were truly amazed. The images showcased us as the happiest and most beautiful family. Let me set the scene on the real image 2 exhausted parents side eyeing each other and their kids running around in the sand. We've lost complete control of them and are actually trying to control 3 children under the age of 5. They are losing their exhausted minds, while our photographer made miracles happen, capturing the essence of our time on the island. The photographer worked wonders, and it was evident that she dedicated hours to editing our photos. We left the beach that day feeling the onlookers rethinking any thoughts of having children but in contrast, our family appeared in the photos as if we were living our best day on the island, radiating joy and warmth. Going in know it's not cheap. Put it in your budget because it's something that you will have FOREVER. Remember that they are very good at what they do. In my case I checked around and it's just a little less than most but better quality and EXCELLENT customer service. Went in just wanting one family photo and I bought all of them on the thumb drive. The pictures were not taken recently but I still have them and I'm going again to have them taken so I'll update again. The reviews are still good so I wanted to add. Still no buyers remorse. I'm highly disappointed in practices of Image Sense Hawaii and specifically Guillermo (Willy)…read moreNavarro who shot my sister's wedding in Hawaii. After my sister repeatedly requested to have all the original files to Willy, not even once he acknowledged or try to accommodate her wishes. What she was given was a really poorly edited DVD disk with such bad quality (SD) that it was almost unusable. Consequently, after my sister tried to reach out to him without any luck, she asked me to get in contact as I'm more technically versed having worked in post production. Willy was blatantly trying to extort $250 from us to get the original files which we are entitled to, for the "time it takes to transfer them" to a hard drive. He desperately tried to manipulate the situation by saying that... "picking up the drive from the store, coming to the office, finding the footage from archival, re-formatting the drive, transferring it, packaging it, and then taking it to the post office" .... justifies the £250 he's asking for. I then told him that I can order the drive (which costs $95), order to have it picked up (it only costs $20 with FedEX to a total of $115) and all he needs to do it copy and paste the files (literally nothing else he needs to do). It's ridiculous that this photographer thinks that he can exploit regular people who are not familiar with the technical workflows but he didn't know who he's dealing with this time. I urge everyone NOT to use his services and take a stand against exploitation.
