Came here to grab some breakfast, and they have a surprisingly large menu to choose from! Plenty of pastries and coffee as well as good breakfast and lunch options. As I said, good coffee selection. Good mocha latte. They also had a good ham & swiss sandwich. Delicious melty cheese and a good amount of mustard to compliment. It was busy while we were here, but they made quick work of the line. Plenty of indoor seating, which was nice since we were a large group. Good stop for a morning pick-me-up or some lunch.

Basil Asiago bagel with egg, Swiss and local sausage - excellent!

What a find! I wanted to grab breakfast after dropping family at Asheville airport. I am very particular about breakfast requiring Swiss water process decaf coffee, organic coffees, organic breakfast options.... FVB did not disappoint. The organic bagel with an egg, cheese and locally sourced sausage was amazing! Coffee perfect! Also picked up several loaves of organic breads which we froze for future gatherings. All pastries are made with organic ingredients which is awesome and hard to find. Service great and a nice big cafe area to sit and eat. We will return!

Needed something quick before heading out for a hike and found this spot. They have a lot of options for bagel toppings and have different sandwich options. The bagel was really thin, which was nice. Order took a bit longer than expected because there was an order in front of us that took longer and only one person cooking. Once another staff member came over to help, our order came out pretty quickly.

We popped in here for a coffee after checking out of Airbnb and to figure out where we wanted to stop for breakfast before heading home. They are much larger on the inside than I had thought. They have breakfast sandwiches, tons of pastries and baked goods, fresh baked bread, and lots of drinks to choose from. My sister got a latte, my brother in law got an Americano, and I got a matcha latte. All 3 were tasty and the staff were friendly, but the wait time was long. We had been outside at a little table with our dogs, so my sister and I went inside to order. When the workers found out we were the group with the dogs they were really excited about them and wanted to pet them, so they told us they would bring us out our drinks so they could take turns petting them. After a while, and several other people leaving who had ordered after us, my sister went inside to see if our drinks were done because no one had brought them out. They had been sitting up on the counter the whole time and no one had told us they were ready. Other than that, this was a fun stop and I recommend coming in to support a local business.

Cutest little bakery/cafe ever. It's adorably decorated inside and very cozy feeling. Lattes are delicious! Not bitter but not too sweet. Fresh bread available that's baked daily, and a plethora of amazing baked goods to try. Everything we had was amazing! Staff are so friendly and welcoming

Stopped in while visiting friends with NC. The counter service was very kind and then they bring you your food once you find a seat. Everyone enjoyed their food. I had the blackened pimento chicken sandwich and it was super flavorful. I'd highly recommend!

If you are in need of breakfast or lunch and not near my favorite, Flat Rock Bakery, then this is the place to eat. Being in a strip mall doesn't add to the ambiance but there is some outside seating on the walkway. Kinda tight passage for those who want to use the sidewalk. Indoors has a variety of seating which can be adjusted to some degree for party size. One orders at the entrance; there are usually handheld laminated menus adjacent to the register. Everything is delicious and very similar to their Flat Rock location. The Italian hero is my favorite. Like it best when toasted. Have to request it, however. Even then my sandwich arrived cold and I had to send it back. My partner enjoyed her tuna salad sandwich and said she would order it again. Picked up several pieces of key lime squares. Make sure to request the crust if you enjoy it otherwise it might have clean cut edges.

Possibly the best ham and cheese croissant in town.

I am not sure how this bakery flew under my radar, but I had to be on that side of town for an appointment and dropped by for a quick breakfast bite. I ordered a crustless quiche and a chocolate croissant and ham and cheese croissant for later. Based on how yummy everything in the case looked, it was hard to not order everything! My crustless quiche was remarkably flavorful and delicious. Tomatoes, spinach, nicely warmed. I was very happy. When I got home, I ate a piece of the chocolate croissant and my 9 year old daughter devoured the rest. As for the Ham and Cheese croissant, I saved it for breakfast the next day. That was one of my favorites. With the crispy edges of ham peeking through, savory cheese and flaky croissant - it may be the best Ham and Cheese croissant in the city and I've tried several. This may be my favorite bakery period. I feel like places like McFarlan's gets over hyped. Fletcher Village Bakery is the real deal!

Not just the best sandwich in Western North Carolina but an amazing shopping experience with folks…read morethat treat you like family! I heard about this place from some friends years ago and regularly frequented for the killer deli sandwiches and old world bakery. Back then it was called Troyer's but recently went back and the entire shopping/dining experience has been elevated in the best of ways!!!! I was greeted immediately when I walked in by a super sweet couple rocking out the incredible sandwiches! I found out they had been making the Troyer's sandwiches for years which was so cool. Come to find out they now have beef, pork, lamb & chicken for sale grown right on the same property! I grilled a ribeye that next day and the flavor was on par with anything from the chop shop! I also found out they have a CSA that delivers right to my home which makes for least waste and need to use the corporate grocery store so often. The grocery section has so many options from dry goods to locally made products they have you covered. I picked up goats milk soap, spicy pickles, champagne mustard, old world candy, and an amazing soup my family loved. The oatmeal crème pie is by far the best dessert after an amazing sandwich I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I also grabbed a loaf of fresh baked and it was to die for! The front porch is pet friendly and I really enjoyed the ambiance with birds chirping and laughter from the 10 local fireman all enjoying the same vibe!

The sandwiches are huge and the ingredients are so fresh. Everyone is so friendly. They had live…read moremusic on the back deck, and it is dog friendly!
