They have three separate areas, but the store isn't large by any means. The front area is where the baby items are. I know what and where I'm going to get the gift for the next baby shower that I attend. The middle area is where the wooden monogrammed door hangers and other ready to pick and purchase, are located. For just a bit over $30 we scored a door hanger. It was prepainted and accessorized with burlap. The back area was where the clothing, robes, and other monogrammable items were. You know, the kind of items and every southern gal has at least one of with her initials on it? This is where you can get yours too.

I was amazed at the selection given I am a beginner and have only shopped at Michael's Crafts for yarn. It's clear the yarns are high quality but they have some at every price point which is great. This place is so much better than the big box store where I've had a hard time finding a selection of wool yarn and things like safety eyes. Knit On! had everything I'd ever need for a project and a lot for inspiration too. There were some baby lovey kits and kits for scarves and other fun creations. There are cute pins and jewelry too! I liked how it was all well organized. The proprietor Nancy helped me and was very kind. She showed me where everything is and let me browse as I pleased. She also wound my yarn into a cake/ball for me and let me know they offer knitting lessons if I'd ever like to try! I enjoyed the visit and will definitely return for any special or nice project I want to make.

The yarn selection is phenomenal - every color and texture you can possibly imagine. I lost track of time wandering up and down the aisles, petting nearly every skein. I think I managed to buy some of the softest things ever invented. Some of the yarns were so cool and weird that I actually did a little excited dance! I love that the woman running the shop didn't even laugh at me when I ran up to the register, smiling and giddy, and said "WHAT CAN I MAKE WITH THIS!??!" Instead, she gave me a pattern and made sure I knew how to do all of the stitches, since I told her I was a new knitter. The cat, Tanner, is the fattest cat I have ever seen, but she is absolutely adorable. She sprawls out in the aisles, and if you rub her belly, she'll lay on her back with her legs stretched out and look like a big ole pillow. It's also a nice bonus that they'll wind your yarn for you if you buy any hanks. In my case, this ended up being a double-edged sword though, because I wandered around and found more things that I simply had to buy. Nice trick! I love shopping in small yarn stores like this because they also give you so many project ideas! Looking up on top of a shelf and seeing a beautiful shawl constructed with the yarn you're holding in your hand is awesome and gives you a much better idea of how the yarn actually looks in a project. Recently, there was a special for Valentines Day special for rewards members for 3 Wick Candle and Body mist $17.95. The strawberry shortcake scent! Couldn't pass it up. I walked in and a representative assisted right away. Besides that, they always have great sales, new line up on products, and something for everyone. They sell candles (my fave), hair and body, hand soaps, laundry, men's products and sanitizers, body mist and more! I usually do online orders but when I shop the stores, this a the best location by far. I've been a fan for years and will stay one.

Cool little gift shop hidden in the Streets of West Chester…read more We stopped in last week when we were killing time before 4pm (at which hour we deem it appropriate for drinking Key Lime Martinis at Mitchell's down the street). I was actually looking for a birthday gift for a friend and was thrilled to find a large selection of unique collectibles and hand painted decorative items. I spent at least 15 minutes checking out the hand painted martini and wine glasses, and I ended up selecting a "Princess" themed glass for my friend. I then looked at the cards and picked out a cute hand-cut one to go with it. My mom ooh'd and ahh'd at the array of hand painted suns and crosses that decorate the walls at Tapestry.

The prices can be a bit steep but the quality is usually very good. The stuff the sell is also very unique and I consider it one of the best places to buy a gift, especially for the person who has everything. The staff is generally friendly and eager to help you when you come in. You can even take a load off and sit in the massage chair after a long day of shopping at the Kenwood mall. Not the most comfortable things in the world but fun, none the less.
